Qianhong Hotel (Kunming Station)

Only stayed here one night. Clean and comfortable, but the room was very small. Many restaurants in the neighborhood. Five minute walk from the train station. A bit hard to find. The entrance is at: 25.020365, 102.71725 Reception is on the 14th floor.

QWe stayed here once we arrived the city , then went up north and we decided to come back because it's so right to stay We had a really good stay here, especially because of the location. It’s only about a 5-minute walk to Kunming Railway Station, which made traveling super convenient for us. The hotel itself is located on the 14th floor with 4 elevators that run quickly, so getting in and out was easy. There’s a supermarket on the ground floor and the area is surrounded by restaurants, plus Luckin Coffee and Cotti are just around the corner — perfect for grabbing something in the morning. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we really liked that there were two washbasins — very convenient when traveling as a group. The bathroom was a good size, and the huge projector screen was a fun touch. The view from the room was great too — you can see Kunming Railway Station right in front of you, which reminds you just how close it is. There’s no breakfast or full restaurant, but there is a small reception counter and the staff there were really lovely and helpful. Overall, we felt the price was very good value for money. Comfortable room, super convenient location, and everything we needed for a smooth stay. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at Qianhong Hotel near Kunming Railway Station and found it convenient and budget-friendly. The location is excellent for transit, and the staff were helpful. The room was small and not perfectly clean, some surfaces could use more attention but it was functional and had smart features like projection and air conditioning. If you're looking for a short stay near the station and can accept basic cleanliness, it’s a decent option.

I'd really love this place! Very near with the railway station and many nearby convenient stores to go. The staff here also very good and prioritise their customer. Highly recommend if you want to stay at Kunming!
