The hotel is located about 2 - 3 km from the Kunming airport but quite far from the Kunming city area (about 30 minutes by taxi). It is convenient for travelers who are transiting through Kunming. Hotel look quite new and well maintained and service is great as well.
There are a few small restaurants next to the hotel. The hotel western restaurant is open till quite late, but food selection is limited. Room service is also available.
The hotel provides free car shuttle service to the airport, but must be booked in advance. The earliest available booking is at 5:00am.

Very highly recommended. Out of the 3 five stars hotels I have stayed in during my trip, this was the best hotel to stay in. Super comfortable, very clean. My mum who is particular in cleanliness remarked that it was very clean and their bathroom glass windows were sparkling, (this was one of the probably the neglected areas that other hotels would missed out but not Double tree Hilton).
Too bad that I only managed to stay in for half a day as I needed to wake up early to head to the airport. But this was a fabulous place to rest and end my trip to Kunming. They provided transport to the airport too and it's about 15 mins ride there. Love it.

We had one night stayover and this was by far one of if not the best experience staying at double tree by Hilton. The services provided by each staff were remarkable and exceptional. For instance, it was my wife’s birthday and I requested for some kind of room decoration and a cake but Hilton did above and beyond by giving us one whole cake. So touched! We will certainly choose Hilton as our next go to destination wherever possible. O

The hotel staff very helpful- some inconvenience happened in the bathroom, n the hotel was very responsible for the mistake and upgraded us to another room with free breakfast. It would have been more convenient if they spoke better English, but this is the same case with most hotels in China, so never mind. Overall, it was a satisfactory high-quality stay. Def recommend it if u need one of the best hotels near Kunming airport.

Not located at the airport but it is still convenient for my early morning flight. Hotel offers pick-up service from the airport but need to arrange by calling the hotel. They offer a drop-off service as well which is very useful. Excellent breakfast
