Best Koh Mak Hotels

"An incredible stay at Mira Montra from start to finish. We were so impressed by the service, including pick up from the boat (which we didn't even explain when we were due to arrive), the free kayaks/paddle boards, the complimentary afternoon tea, quality of the rooms and the caring nature of the staff. They helped to arrange and drop us off at our next boat, which made it much less stressful. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The view was to die for, and the resort itself was a close bike ride to the other bars/restaurants. We can not comment about the lunch or dinner in the hotel as we ate elsewhere and also rented a bike from down the road. I'm so glad we made this trip and chose to stay here. I would definitely recommend!"

"it was nice to stay here 3 days 2 nights with a good view from my room there have own balcony which connect the beach and i quite like there quite and peaceful island where nearby pier just 1 km. and also easy to buy foods or drink both inside and nearby the place. lastly , the owner their service it pretty sweet and kindness. i'll visit again for sure."

"It probably was a great place to stay years ago, but not anymore! Avoid! Staff are renting there own motorbikes to try and make an extra buck, normally I’m up for this but they tried to give me some broken bike and smiled as if it was ok. There was a mistake with my booking so I couldn’t get the room I paid for so I had to pay for an upgraded room which I happily did. Trip.com offered to refund me so all I needed from the hotel was a receipt to show Trip.com but because the receptionist didn’t put me through the system and just pocketed the extra money that I had to pay in cash, she couldn’t give me a receipt, now I’m caught up in this scam they have going. I obviously was not able to leave a tip after all this weirdness, I have never in all 50 years of staying in hotels been asked to pay for the hotels mistake. Usually upgrades are free as an apology for not providing what was originally advertised and paid for."

"Went there for two nights, short trip from Koh Chang to Koh Mak. Hotel staff is extra friendly. Very clean! Breakfast is limited choice and need to order (no buffet), but enough for a short stay. Pool is great and especially because it’s view! Beach is a few minutes walk away, but you can borrow a scooter from the hotel. Thumbs up, I’d come again for short stays..."

"It is a stunning place full of rebellion and calmness. The house is well and clean, there is everything you need, a tea set and even a fan, the area is abundant with diverse plants and flowering bushes. Incredibly beautiful butterflies and flowers. A luxurious pool and a wonderful view of the pier where you can meet dawns."

"A nice Gethouse, right next to the road, there is a rental of bikes at once. There are many restaurants nearby, the beach is large nearby. Small but beautiful territory in front of the rooms. The room is small, there is everything for accommodation, water, toilet paper, coffee, paper towels, toothbrushes, soap. From the downsides: the wolf bed is very, dirty bathroom (streams and drops on the door, a shelter), very prevents the chick who lives next to it, starts to slip from 3 a.m."

"The bar in the middle of the sea is very beautiful. The water is crystal clear. I recommend you to stay there. The room may be similar to other places, but the bar in the middle of the sea is the best."

"We were in the 3rd villa and this is the most amazing view that we have ever had on this island, and we have lived in 5 different hotels and we have something to compare with. Very spacious villa with high ceilings with a bathroom overlooking the sea, it's amazing. Breakfasts were a choice, we tried 4 different sets, so to speak, they are for an amateur, delicious cappuccino. We recommend this hotel because of the view, it's amazing."
