"Overall ok, hotel a bit run down but in average acceptable. The Armsterdem room has that smell, from the water drainage is not good the whole room has that bad smell. Bottled water was not provided in Santorini room, we called to send the water, without asking or checking properly, the front desk asked us check carefully in the room and water is provided somewhere in the room............ We looked and confirmed no water provided before we called front desk. The service needs a bit improvement there. With that price paid in that area I would expect a better service ..."

"one of the first hotel in kluang and was surprised at the size of the stamdard twin room. very spacious compared to newer hotels nowadays. clean room. nice bed sheets. strong water pressure. the only setback is no small fridge. others were excellent. will surely stay here the next time. recommended."

"It's a good place to stay in Kluang, 7 mins to nearby shops and pasar. The rooms are good, and overall a good place to stay. It has the first ever lift since 1963, the lift a little scary but good experience. Stay amongst the oldest hotel in Kluang where it started in 1963. So can you all guess where this hotel gets its name. All the furniture here were antique including it lift"

"The hotel was clearly refurbished and updated. Would have given it a perfect 10 except for the fact that the receptionist who insisted I produce proof of receipt from Trip that I had paid the tourism tax, even though THEIR SYSTEM INDICATED THAT THE TAX HAD BEEN PAID. The problem was I had forgotten to bring my handphone and couldn’t access my email. I told him that I had NEVER encountered such a requirement whenever I booked with Trip. And he said it was a new rule. Yet when I checked in at another hotel the next day, they do not have such a requirement. I had no choice but to pay the tourism tax again. Hope Trip would look into it and get them to refund the money to me."
