"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Comfortable Stay and Great Breakfast!
I recently stayed at Hu House Hotel in Kaohsiung for 3 days and had a wonderful experience. The location is super convenient—close to Liuhe Night Market and just a short walk from the MRT station, which made it easy to explore the city.
The room was clean, modern, and spacious, with comfortable beds and all the essentials provided. The staff were polite, helpful, and made check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free.
One of the highlights of the stay was the buffet breakfast. There was a great variety of both Western and local ********* options, including fresh fruit, salads, hot dishes, pastries, and great coffee. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and it was a lovely way to start each morning.
Overall, Hu House Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Kaohsiung. It’s comfortable, well-located, and offers excellent value—especially with the buffet breakfast included. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Basic hotel. Front desk was a little confused and originally gave us later checkout because we had another room type booked the next day (just changing rooms), but the morning staff didn’t know and woke us up and complained we didn’t check out at the normal time. 🤷♂️
Beds were hard, towels ancient, everything old. But… cheap and great location. So you get what you pay for, and it was decent for the price."

"Room filled with cigarette smell, every breath I took gave me a headache I had to buy a room spray to save my trip, I suggest if the cleaner found it smelly they should spray the room before letting other customers in

"It is about a 20-minute drive from Kaohsiung International Airport and about a 20-minute drive from Kaohsiung's Xinxing District. The most satisfying thing is the breakfast provided by the hotel. The service attitude of the front desk staff is good. The room is large, but the decoration is old. The room has windows that can be opened. The room has shower gel, shampoo and two disposable towels. The Fengshan District Youth Night Market is a 6-8 minute walk away and is open until 11:30 pm. However, I have to be careful as the walking path is dimly lit. In addition to ********* food and snacks, there is also a stall run by some veteran chefs, offering shoulder and foot massages for about NT$300 for half an hour. If you want to find food during the day, you can search for the nearest ”FamilyMart” on Google Maps and there will be food on this road."

GGuest UserOverall, the hotel is pretty good in terms of cleanliness, service, and location.
The room and service are quite standard that served the purpose of being a business hotel, and only 5 mins walk to the train station. Couldn’t ask for more at this pricing.
The only thing that I would like to mention is that, the bed is little bit short for me, so for anyone that
is 6ft or taller, your foot might come out a little when you lie down straight.

AAlxnelyHad everything I needed for a short stay in Kaohsiung. The hotel was very clean and my room, as well as the breakfast hall had a great view. The location is not too central, however you can reach the metro within a 10 minute walk.
Overall for the price it’s a really good accommodation, I’d come again in the future!

TThe Happie HypnoOne of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Everything about the hotel was perfectly thought through and designed for the user experience.
Located conveniently abiT off the main busy stretch but walking distance to lots of food and bars, a little longer walk and you would get into the main busy shopping stretch. The hotel was super thoughtful in the service and amenities they provided. There was 24hrs free coffee, tea and ice cream which was self service, a laundry room with free use of their washing machines and dryers - the staff would even help you to dry your stuff when the machine is done washing! There was a 24 hour reception which is manned by really polite and kind staff who are always there to answer your questions even at 1am!
The room was well designed with all the amenities provided, from hair shampoo, conditioners, bath wash, moisturisers and even facial wash!
The rooms are super clean and there was an in-room tap with reverse osmosis water for you to refill your water and boil tea with!
The best part, the room also came with free breakfast which was pretty sumptuous for a simple hotel. The buffet spread of stir fried dishes, rice, porridge, soup (oh my god so good!) cereals, salads, coffee, teas and juices.
The service was also really good. Unobtrusive and always polite. They are really efficient and nice.
I would def stay here again if I come by!

GGuest UserSuper satisfied with this prime location, just a few meters from Kaohsiung Station. You can access to all types of transportation conveniently. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. I really love using a hot bath in the room to retreat myself from a long day. Breakfast is also nice with good variety of foods. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserWe had a great time at the Riverside Hotel! Even though we got there late, the staff was really nice and helped us check in quickly, so we could get some sleep before leaving early the next morning. What stood out the most was how friendly and helpful everyone was. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised by the shuttle service that took us to and from the airport. It made our trip so much easier and more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

GGrejeI love the location of CU Kaohsiung. It is near the TRA, MRT and some bus stations. Food spots may be a few mins walk. There were suggested night markets. The check out procedure is fast and easy with the kiosks. Less personal touch but reliable.
I did not like that they did not provide extra pillows and extra coffee/tea. They did not clean our room on our second night.
The rooms were clean and comfortable but the pictures show bath tub and bidet, the assigned room to us does not have a bath tub nor bidet.

TTongueOverall is a good stay for me, especially for the location! It is very near from the Kaohsiung metro station. The service is good for this price but the only concern is cockroach! If you are okay with the little of unhygienic, you can definitely stay here. I enjoyed breakfast for two days while this is not included in the reservation I have checked.
