"The homestay picks up self-check-in. The check-in time is from 4 pm to 10 pm. There is no way to contact the service staff immediately after check-in at 9 pm. Call the emergency phone and keep telling you that it is off work time. It is recommended that people who want to stay late must contact the store in advance to avoid panic. Check-in is to contact through the line and have a sticker at the door. The comfort and cleanliness in other rooms are quite good."

"After making a reservation, the owner will send you the entrance and room passcodes and facility information via LINE. What does this place look like? ? ? The entrance looked like one would expect, but it was so clean and well-equipped that it was hard to believe it was a guesthouse. It was easy to access from the station and I had a comfortable time. I would definitely use it again."

"It takes about 12-15 minutes to walk from Pier 2 Art Zone. The room is clean and tidy, and the toilet is separated from wet and dry. There is also a capsule coffee machine in the room, which is great. There is also a children's playroom on the third floor, and the breakfast is also good. Will stay here again next time I have the chance."

"It's in a great location, less than a 5-minute walk from Kaohsiung Station's Formosa Boulevard Station. There's a cafe next to the first floor, so I think it's the perfect environment for a relaxing stay. The staff speaks English and will give you detailed information about the relaxation space and kitchen during your stay. The building isn't new, but the rooms are stylish and the shower water pressure is great. There is a free relaxation space in front of the room, and there are various magazines and books (including stylish Japanese magazines and books) where you can work on your computer. I stayed here for multiple nights, and was able to relax outside of my room after returning to the inn."

"Late review but really unforgettable stay experience 🥺 The landlord sister contacted WhatsApp in advance and informed the check-in details, so the communication was very smooth, and she was always concerned about greetings from check-in to check-out. The decoration of the B&B room is very unique. I found that the wall is not wallpaper but handmade murals. The homestay is very clean and quiet. I brought food to my relatives and friends. The landlord sister took the initiative to say that I can use the refrigerator, oh. This time I came to Kaohsiung to see old friends, but the day I wrote a review has planned a new trip to Taiwan with new friends. I hope I can stay again!"

"Great room. Very spacious and nice design. Only problem is soundproofing to the corridor. Fridge quite noisy, but I just unplugged it at night. Big bonus is the laundry facilities, which are free apart from NT 30 for detergent from reception. Dryers were slow, but can't complain as it was free. Lots of nice food places nearby, although the peanut place just round the corner always had massive queues so I never tried it even though it looked amazing. There's an food recommendation map in the lifts, so that's helpful."

"The location is very ideal, just near the Pier 2 Penglai Station of the light rail. To walk to Hama Star, you only need to pass through the Railway Cultural and Creative Zone. The hotel's breakfast is very good, with many choices, delivered to the door. On Sundays only, you can go to the eighth floor to enjoy the Chinese buffet breakfast. I highly recommend the braised pork turnips, which can be mixed with rice or poured into sweet potato porridge. The flush toilet in the bathroom is really great. It's a nice little touch during my recent stay, but it's 100% considerate. Kaohsiung is an old city with a new concept that is worth savoring. If you choose the Pier 2 area, you can have fun for several days. It only takes more than ten minutes to go to nearby Cijin and Xiziwan. Also, there is a night market downstairs on Saturdays. Be sure to pay attention. Don’t miss the experience of eating various ********* delicacies at home all night long. Don’t complain about your small belly or lack of money."

"I recently stayed at Ox Suites in the Yancheng district of Kaohsiung, and it was an exceptional experience. Ron and his wife run a fantastic little serviced apartment that’s clean, modern, and minimalist, yet equipped with everything you might need—and more. The apartment was spotless, and the minimalist design made it feel spacious and comfortable. Ron went above and beyond by providing a comprehensive list of things to do in the Yancheng area, which was incredibly helpful. If you only have three nights, like I did, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy just in Yancheng and nearby Cijin. Their recommendations were spot on, and they were always just a message away if I needed anything or had any questions. The location is also a major plus. It’s just a short walk to Yancheng station on the orange line, making it easy to get around. You can easily reach the hotel with just one change of train line from the HSR Station. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Kaohsiung. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel description in the trip was not clear, and people mistakenly thought it was a single room! The result was a backpacker room for six! (I'm not used to staying in this type of room) Although I was busy before the trip and didn't have time to ask the owner! However, the photos and descriptions on the website all lead to single rooms, which is really unpleasant. (I checked the website again, and indeed there are only two photos of the toilet + single bed. There is no description of backpacker inn, etc.) The store promised to improve it after checking in that day! The house is clean and well designed! But the web service is really unacceptable to me! The message below says that there are parking spaces in the basement. However, there are no parking spaces for backpackers and single beds. I hope the store will indicate it!"

CClymene LimWe stayed at this hotel in March. While this review is in English, we communicated to them in Chinese. We also observed that they could converse with simple English with the international guests. Service - The hotel staff were friendly. We were greeted upon entering the door, and attended to immediately. The check-in process was fast. They also explained to us about the amenities - there is an enclosed area where we can chill, enjoy free drinks and ice cream. We were also entitled to one free drink from the par per day.  Even the housekeepers were friendly. There was an elderly housekeeper on Level 8 who greeted us and offered to guide us to our rooms - was impressed by this because I wasn't expecting this from any housekeeper from any hotel! The receptionist at the level 2 morning buffet hall was also very attentive. I was looking around for the toilet, when one of the staff saw me and asked me if I needed any help. Please keep this proactiveness up :) Food - The breakfast spread was huge and the food was scrumptious. Absolutely recommend. It has a mix of local ********* dishes and western food. I especially love the ********* food spread! (see photos for some of the food options, though i didnt take photo of everything). Room - The room was sufficient and clean. Housekeeping also does a great job at tidying the room. Location - Right next to Kaohsiung Main Station. I could walk directly to the hotel from the station - it seems like the renovation works that the earlier hotel reviews talked about has been resolved, so there is no longer a need to go to the hotel in a roundabout manner.  Super convenient. Other Amenities - They have washing machines, dryers, and even an ironing board! Powder detergent is provided too. This was something we really appreciated. Also, like what I earlier mentioned, they have a hall with the free-flow ice cream and drinks, which is a great place to chill and relax - especially at night after a long day of activities.  Overall, I will recommend Kindness hotel to those staying in Kaohsiung!

TTraveler with kidsIt is situated rather close to airport, hence a bit far from everything else, especially good food. However is of walking distance to some major Japanese department store. The main thing of note is the lobby is situated on the 25th floor. One take one lift up to lobby and then another lift to rooms every time. The rooms were spacious, but the bottom of beds were not vacuum for days. Amenities were minimal and do not reflect on price of room. Electrical sockets were limited and USB sockets don’t work. Many of the decorations in the hotel or the rooms are not suitable for kids. The building itself seems new as many shops at low levels are not open or only at certain times. Hotel staff didn’t mention or introduce the surroundings at all during check-in. House keeping staff were courteous and hard working. Lobby staff was not friendly. Reception was spent most of the time reminding rules, rather than welcoming. Their lobby bar is a cigar bar and the reminded me they only have expensive whiskey and no wine by the glass. The staff from tea place with the stunning view of the city reminded me they are closing soon. The ground concierge was not welcoming nor helpful except for one girl who nodded every time we enter the building. The pool staff and lobby staff corrected my mandarin a few times. Lastly, the was an incident at the pool, as I heard a boy stepped on a piece of glass. There was a lot of blood. I cannot comprehend why there was a piece of glass not cleaned by the pool. There are two restaurants by the pool and one of them was a bar. Overall, it is a nice hotel. But the software is far from up to par or this price.

AAlb33This is the last day of the trip in Taiwan, we chose the Airline Inn which is located across the train station. The location is superb! The way to the night markets are kind of straightforward from the hotel, you just need to turn right and follow the main road. The room is really small without a window, but as expected. In terms of price, it’s worth it especially for a night only.

LlickitThe hotel staff are polite and service-oriented. The facilities are thoughtful, with free coffee and beverage machines. 13/F is open 24 hours a day, allowing guests to bring their own food. The hotel is clean and conveniently located near many convenience stores and supermarkets. Old-fashioned shops such as sesame cakes, braised pork rice, and egg pancakes are only a 5-minute walk away. The hotel is only a 2-minute walk from Qianjin subway station and a 3-minute walk from Liuhe Night Market. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I come.

Even though we got there late, the staff was really nice and helped us check in quickly, so we could get some sleep before leaving early the next morning. What stood out the most was how friendly and helpful everyone was. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised by the shuttle service that took us to and from the airport. It made our trip so much easier and more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

TTongueOverall is a good stay for me, especially for the location! It is very near from the Kaohsiung metro station. The service is good for this price but the only concern is cockroach! If you are okay with the little of unhygienic, you can definitely stay here. I enjoyed breakfast for two days while this is not included in the reservation I have checked.
