If you need a comfortable room for a sleep between two flights, this is the prefect spot. However, if you want to visit Chengdu or go out of the hotel, this may not be the right for as the hotel is in the middle of the countryside with nothing nearby.

Considering that the room was full the day before and the hygiene was completed so quickly and to a high standard the next day, the management level of InterContinental Hotel Sancha Lake and the work quality and enthusiasm of the staff are worthy of praise. Breakfast was busy but not chaotic. Compared with the holidays in previous years, the details such as on-site guidance, food supplements, and seating arrangements have been significantly improved. The hotel has many holiday activities, and the elderly and children are very satisfied with their own ways of playing. It is very convenient to drive to the water park, open-air movies, or nearby attractions. It is a good choice for suburban vacation.

I stayed at this hotel near Chengdu Airport and found it reasonably convenient overall. The free shuttle to and from the airport runs every 30 minutes, which is helpful, although the ride takes about 35 minutes. My room was spacious and modern, but there were a couple of maintenance issues — the toilet flush wasn’t working due to a clog, and the main ceiling light had burned out. Breakfast included both Western and Chinese options, but the selection was quite limited. For drinks, there was only orange juice, coffee, and milk, though tea was available in the lobby and in the room. There are a few restaurants and one café nearby, but not much else in terms of infrastructure. The Wi-Fi was slow but usable for basic tasks.
