"The hotel was difficult to find until I came to the trip reviews section and read other peoples experiences. It's not very well signed so was problematic. Upon finding it though I was pleasently surprised. Room was nice, clean and big. Unfortunately the TV did not work but I wasn't there much anyway, there was a nice few from rooftop garden as seen my pics"

"The hotel has a large lobby, wide bed, and wide table for working with my laptop. I got charged around 50.000 IDR for early check in which is fine for me since i come 1 hour early (I have remote working). The room service menu is sooo good!! With a very cheap price other than room service in other hotel. The minus is the light is too dark in the room (not instagramable), a bit dirty on the table side and the smart tv is not working well. Thank you."

"Location wise is SUPERB! Just next to Grand Indonesia and Thamrin City. Easier for shopping 🛍️ 🤭 During check in, even though we came late around 5pm, we still needed to wait 15 min for the room to be ready. The studio has a washing machine with dryer, fridge and induction cooker. Love the amenities. Room service is great, everyday replace new towels. Breakfast is good too but once too many people maybe a bit crowded. Gym facilities are great as well. Overall, we satisfy to stay here due to the location. Will choose this place next time 😉"

"Came to Jakarta 2 Sept-5 Sept, just rightly after the rally ended. In Medan, the rally just begun though. So I purposely chose this hotel which is located at Tanah Abang, avoiding the busy Thamrin City or Grand Indonesia area (it is still along the road anyways) The room was huge, clean, the hospitality was 💯! It is very much closer to Tanah Abang (shopping place) and Blok M Square (viral food) and I literally walked to Tanah Abang (500m away). Plus point the hotel has the weight scale to weigh your luggage, but the food was mehhhh. Overall, loved my stay!"

"Stayed here for a night after a big mess at one of our airbnb. Booked the apartment at 1130pm. When we arrived an hour later, the reception was ready to serve us at midnight. Check in was efficient and smooth. The apartment was clean and spacious. If I have 1 thing to comment, it would be the fan for the aircond. The sound of the fan was a bit too loud as I was a light sleeper. The apartment was very near halim station which makes it very convenient to bandung via whoosh and need not worry about the traffic jam in the morning."

"Review: 5-Star Hotel Stay – Mixed Experience. I recently stayed at this 5-star hotel Aug 2025, which, despite its grandeur, is showing its age at nearly a decade old. The property retains an elegant charm, but certain aspects left me with mixed feelings. Room and Cleanliness: The room was impressively spacious, a highlight of the stay, with a bit old decor and ample space to relax. However, the cleanliness was average at best. While the surfaces appeared tidy, there were noticeable signs of wear, and the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke was a major downside. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room through Trip.com and reiterated this during check-in, but was informed that no non-smoking rooms were available. As a gesture, the staff upgraded me to a higher-tier room, which I appreciated, but the cigarette odor was still strong, lingering in both the room and the hotel corridors. This was particularly disappointing for a 5-star property. Service Issue: To address the smoke smell, I called room service to request an air freshener. After waiting 30 minutes with no delivery, I had to call again. The second time, the staff promptly delivered it, which helped slightly, but the experience felt inconsistent with the hotel’s luxury branding. Amenities: On a positive note, the breakfast was exceptional—diverse, mix of local and International cuisine. The swimming pool was another highlight, well-maintained, and a relaxing spot to unwind with an indoor and outdoor scenic view. Overall: While the spacious rooms, fantastic breakfast, and nice pool were highlights, the cigarette smell and inconsistent service detracted from the experience. For a 5-star hotel, I expected better attention to cleanliness and guest requests. I’d recommend this hotel for its amenities but urge management to address the smoking issue and improve service responsiveness to truly meet 5-star standards. Rating: 3.5/5"

"Nice hotel with lovely kind people, hotel is a bit hidden and have to pay 5000 idr to always come inside with a car/taxi, very friendly staff always smiles. No fridge inside the room which was a let down, the sink was also so small and the water would take time to go down, 7/10"

"Thinking the hotel was quite near to Ancol beach, I had no idea it was a bit of a challenge to find the hotel. We had to turn round twice round the location. We were given the 3rd floor, supposed to be a quiet area and non smoking zone. The first evening was rather noisy. Sounded like a group of travellers. Then a long, loud ring successfully drowned out our TV programme. Later at night, a faint suffocating cigarette smells came from the washroom. Lasted about an hour maybe. However, we loved the hotel spacious feel, the vibrant look and really enjoyed its selection of breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, we were not able to have our 2nd breakfast there because we had a very early flight back to Malaysia."

"I stayed at Grand Orchardz Hotel with my sister and my niece during the Lalala Festival at JIExpo, and it was a really nice experience! The location is perfect — only about a 3-minute drive to JIExpo, which was super convenient. The hotel offers free parking and free breakfast, which is always a plus. The room was clean, spacious, and had a wide window that let in plenty of natural light — really bright and comfortable. The breakfast selection was quite varied and satisfying. One of the highlights for us was the pool/berendam area — it’s big enough for kids to enjoy swimming, and my niece had so much fun there. Overall, it felt very family-friendly and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone attending events at JIExpo or looking for a clean, convenient, and family-friendly stay!"
