Amazing
不不完美的旋律Tabata Boutique Suites is located near Tabata Station on the Yamanote Line. There is only a small shopping mall next to Tabata Station, which has a bakery, a small supermarket, and several restaurants. There is also a McDonald's and some small shops about 50 meters away. The B&B is about 200 meters walk from Tabata Station. It is located in a residential area and is very quiet. There is only a 7-11 convenience store nearby, and there are few people and cars.
The B&B is in Room 403 (the original information said Room 404). We couldn't find the combination lock that night and were unable to check in, so we called the owner. We called several phone numbers attached to the information, but they were all connected directly to the voice system, saying it was an incorrect number. So we sent an email, but there was no reply. We felt helpless and confused. So I went back to the door of Room 403 and found a combination lock in a hidden place. I had to enter the combination according to the information emailed to me before to unlock it. There was a door key inside the lock, so I could enter. We stayed for 3 nights, and the owner did not call back or reply to my emails. Only the trip.com AI customer service asked me if I needed help, which was very thoughtful.
The homestay is fully equipped with all the necessary facilities, except that the small terraces of the two rooms cannot be accessed because they are used to cool the air conditioners. In addition, there is no floor heating in the house. The heating is blown to the living room and dining room by the air conditioners in the two rooms. Since the toilet and bathroom are farthest from the bedroom, the heating cannot reach that far, so it is very cold to use the toilet and bathroom.
The advantage of this B&B is that it is quite new and clean, probably because it was newly renovated. In addition, the TV can watch YouTube and Netflix, which is great!
GGuest UserOur family of five, including three young kids, had an absolutely fantastic stay at Rosenheim Tokyo Shinjuku Okubo. The hotel is conveniently located near Okubo Station, making it a perfect base to explore Tokyo, yet it offers a peaceful and welcoming retreat from the city's bustle.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional service. Mr. Agawa, in particular, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, his warm demeanor, attention to detail, and willingness to assist with every request made us feel truly valued as guests. It’s rare to encounter someone who genuinely takes pride in ensuring visitors have a seamless and enjoyable stay, but Mr. Agawa epitomized that spirit.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a family. The hotel's calm and family-friendly environment allowed us to relax after busy days of exploring.
We wholeheartedly recommend Rosenheim Tokyo Shinjuku Okubo to anyone visiting Tokyo. With its prime location and the exceptional hospitality of staff like Mr. Agawa, it’s a gem we’ll be happy to return to on our next trip!

Great
SSTELLAHUANGThe room was new and very clean, and the two double beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery, and even thoughtful touches like seasonings. We cooked dinner and breakfast here, and it felt just like being at home.
The bathroom had a washing machine and detergent, which was super convenient for us on a multi-day trip as we could wash our clothes immediately.
There's a projector in the room that connects to your phone's YouTube, so we could keep up with domestic news and events even while abroad.
We were able to drop off our luggage after 12 PM, and the self-check-in process was completely smooth. Everything was great.
We've already booked to stay again next month!
ココウシセイThe bed size and firmness were just right for me. There's an entryway separating the shower room from the main living area, so you can't hear the hairdryer or washing machine from your room. There's a dedicated luggage area and a locker with a combination lock. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, razors, and paper slippers are provided free of charge. For 500 yen, you can use the public bath on the 10th floor. Since there aren't many public bathhouses (sentō) around Asakusa, this hostel is a good option if you want to soak.

YYY Ying:)Cozy stay near Asakusa area. A little far from Minowa station if you’re taking the train but there’s a bus stop a few mins walk from the stay to nippori. However there’s no lift, think twice if you have many luggages as it’s located on 3rd or 4th floor. Kind owner allowed us to store luggages for free until 3pm on checkout day. Amenities are new and in good condition.

AAnonymous UserA single-family homestay, fully self-service, the hotel has no management staff, tatami room, floor mat, very comfortable to sleep, clean and hygienic
The guestbook shows that there are basically more Korean tourists
One thing that really deducts points. Someone actually tried to enter my room in the middle of the night! Very scary! Through the peephole, I saw that it was a couple of tourists staying in the room. They were not Chinese, but probably Korean. They must have walked into the wrong room, but they kept trying the password until the system reported an error. They also tried to force the door open. I was scared to death
It is not recommended for girls to stay alone. It is too dangerous without management staff. And the room is on the first floor (the second floor is a six-person room). There is no anti-theft window outside. The safety factor is really low
If there are boys in the same group, if you don’t consider safety, the overall hotel is still very good. High cost performance, convenient travel, direct to Narita Airport
GGeraldine LauThe hotel room service is great! But the room is smaller than i expected and there is no luggage space to open up for 2. The drainage system for the showering is also very slow and it causes flooding. Overall, the experience is great but just take note of this. In addition, hope that the showering room can install some hangers to hang clothes on the wall as the water pressure for the showering might be too big and may wet the clothes. Thank you.

EErnest_LAWAsakusa Yoshino Hotel: A Tranquil Edo-Style Inn Amidst the Bustle
I was absolutely charmed by Asakusa Yoshino Hotel on my first stay! It's a mere 5-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Nakamise Shopping Street and taking a rickshaw ride. Yet, it's tucked away in an alley, offering surprising peace and quiet. The Japanese tatami room was spotlessly clean and refreshing, with wooden furniture and paper sliding doors. Before bed, sitting cross-legged and gazing at the old streetlights outside the window, felt like stepping back into the Edo period. The owners are a super friendly couple; communication in English was no problem, and they even proactively recommended a fantastic tempura spot nearby. For breakfast, you can choose between a Japanese set meal or a Western-style light breakfast – the miso soup was unbelievably delicious! They even gave us a small souvenir upon check-out, showing incredible attention to detail. For those on a budget who want an authentic Tokyo experience, this place is a no-brainer – the value for money is outstanding!

GGuest Usergood for solo travellers. not social at all, and quiet and lights out hour starts at 11pm. very clean though! and it is around 15 minute walk to shibuya centre / crossing. it is surrounded by convenient stores though. it is also near the area of love hotels and clubs of the shibuya region, but it is not loud at all and it is in a quiet little corner. so if that scene is not your vibe then you can easily ignore it because it is not apparent at all (i only found out there are clubs and love hotels and bars near it because i went on late night walks around the neighbourhood every night and also my friend asked me to go clubbing at this specific club and coincidentally i found out it was minutes away from this hostel, and also long story short we also had to actively look for love hotels near the area because we both were stranded for the night lol). but if it is your scene - it is awfully convenient!

GGuest UserThis is a great location for people looking to hike Mt. Takao. You will need to use a taxi to get to and from the train station though. The staff was very kind and supplied us with cans of coffee whenever they saw us lol! One of the owners even gave us a ride to Mt. Takao when we asked for him to call us a taxi. The rooms are motel style and very spacious.
Be aware this is an ex love hotel so it does have a slightly creepy vibe, I wouldn’t bring minors to this hotel to be honest. (I also turned on the TV in the bath which was a bit of a scare!) Also just show any taxis the actual address of this place in Japanese as no one local knew where this place was.
