"Great little hotel close to the center of the city. It is also close to karaoke bars that keep on going to the wee hours of the morning.
Staff were all very nice and attentive."
"The location of the hotel is great and everything is within easy walking distance of a short taxi/bike ride away.
The hotel itself was clean but all the decor is outdated and furnishings are very old.
Overall, it was a good place to stay for one night to see the city of Hue."
"Good value for money. Good location, located in the tourist gathering area of the city centre. Surrounding facilities are complete, eating and drinking are concentrated here. Especially catering, there are restaurants with multi-national characteristics, and shops with local special products. It is more than 500 meters away from the pedestrian street on the waterfront, which brings together local tourist products of Hue."

"This place is by far the best one that I've stayed in Hue. It's just 10 minutes away from Hue's train station and there are some shops, mini-marts and local restaurants in the area. The staff is helpful and they understand and speak English too. The room was clean and bed was super comfortable. There was a small terrace in my room, and since it was on the 4th floor I had a nice view from the surroundings. The sun hits the room directly in the morning but there is a door with some gaps that allow some ventilation to come inside the room, even at 8am the room was not hot.
I will definitely stay there in my future trips to Hue. "
"It was close to the city and the tourist area, and
The hottest palace was right across the river, so it was great to be able to check in and go right away.
The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.
In particular, the rice noodles included in the breakfast… They were much tastier than the rice noodle restaurants outside, so I highly recommend them.
I made a reservation for 3 days at first, and wanted to stay longer,
But when I tried to make an additional reservation, the price went up,
So I had no choice but to make an additional reservation on another site.
I wish I could have made the same price when making a connection reservation.
I am satisfied with the hotel."
"The service attitude is very good, but there is a bar next door that is open until three or four in the morning, so some rooms will be affected by noise. It's very loud before 12 o'clock. After 12 o'clock, if the door of the bar is opened, it will be louder, but the door will be opened frequently, so... everything else is okay. In some room types, the headrest of the bed is made of a material similar to carpet, which easily produces odors. On the contrary, rooms with low-grade wooden beds are better."
"Beyond expectations! Check in/out were breezy, and very kind and helpful receptionists, helped us with airport transfer with good price and some recommendations in this city. Hotel was modernly designed and decorated with quality fittings & furniture. It had sauna facility, no lift but staircase was enough for us. Loved the room, aircond was already on before our arrival which was a very nice gesture(it’s summer month). everything worked well and nicely designed, separate shower and toilet just not bright enough. Bathtub outside of shower room made the ambiance fancy and classy. Scooter rental available with good price, eateries and cafes around, no hassle. It’s highly competitive with the price we paid for this stay, low price with high quality. Thank you"
"I stayed both in the hostel area and in the hotel room at 4th floor. The hostel is only ok for a short term solo stay but the hotel rooms are pretty ok for a long term stay with a partner, friend. They also have big family rooms. The staff are super nice and helpful. The location is great."
"The hotel is in an alley, which is not easy to find, but it is still a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. There is a milk tea shop at the entrance of the alley. It's not far from the night market and bar street. The rooftop and swimming pool on the top floor are good. The breakfast is relatively simple, but it's also in line with the price. The room is spacious and clean. The front desk is very welcoming. They even upgraded me to a room."
"It was a tidy hotel not far from the tourist street. I was especially surprised that the breakfast menu was more solid than I thought. The view was good and the service was very friendly even for late check-in. I tried to stay again afterwards, but it was not easy to book because there were no seats often. Recommended."

Amazing
HHughie VuDefinitely the best experience we've had for a while. Scenery is great, services are top notch, the food is AMAZING. They started out as a restaurant, and now expanded into a resort, so that kinda explains. There're now 2 or 3 restaurants in the resort, serving both local and western cuisines. Breakfasts are free and can be ordered unlimitedly.
We usually have heavy breakfasts in the place, then went out to explore the city and the street foods outside. On the last night, we had our dinner at one of their Vietnamese restaurant. And while it's obviously more expensive than the street foods, the portion and tastiness is also at another level.
The staffs are very very nice. While check-in, we handed them our passports and that's probably how they noticed that one of our birthday is during the stay. So they gave us a bunch of vouchers/discount for their services. Even hand made a birthday cake as a gift!
Wish we stayed longer, and 10/10 would visit again.
AAlice VuIt was one of my best vacations so far. My family was relaxed and enjoyed a lot during the stay. We booked the family villa and had our own private onsen. Villa was clean and tidy, staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. But take note that other facilities like mud bath and public onsen come with charges which confused me at first. Otherwise, everything else is good. I have to give an additional star for the after service. My mom forgot her jewelry after we leave, and we managed to contact the receptionist and return the jewelry back to my mom. Thanks a lot, and we will definitely come back next time
GGuest UserAwesome stay at Melia Hue. Perfect location. The interior, service and amenities all feels high end. It’s a surprise to find such a nice hotel in small town like Hue. Definitely high CP. it’s also the tallest building in Hue, guaranteeing great views in all rooms.
There is a mall attached to the hotel with supermarket inside. Ask the front desk for eateries recommendations. And definitely get the buffet breakfast as it’s really good.
LLoida DuenasIt was the most relaxing holiday for me. Everything from airport pick up until the day I checked out went smoothly. Thanh was the best driver and made sure we arrived at the hotel and airport safely. Ms. Cristy was amazing! If you come to this resort, you can message her anytime and she will reply to you quickly. She is very caring and attentive to all your needs.
Breakfast had a lot of options and it was really yummy. Ms. Cristy even had take away breakfast prepared for us because we went to the airport early.
Everyone at Vedana were so nice and friendly. Everyone made me feel comfortable. The room I had was so relaxing. You can watch the sunrise and the sunset and go swimming while looking over the lake. You can even choose what colour you like your pool to be!
If you come to Vedana, don't miss out on the free massages and try their room service menu. I also tried the floating breakfast and it was perfect. You can order as much food as you want.
The lady who gave me the massage was very good. I didn't get her name but she was amazing! There are also restaurants just outside the gate if you're looking for seafood. They also offer free transportation to go to Hue City.
My second day at Vedana was birthday. They really made me feel special. Everyone knew it was my birthday. Ms. Cristy prepared a birthday cake for me during breakfast and even invited me out for dinner. She works really hard to make sure all the guests are happy.
Thank you Ms. Cristy, Thanh and all the staff at Vedana. My experience there makes me want to come back again!
PPaul AllenThe hotel is ok. The service is excellent and that's what makes it stand apart. The location overall is great, but it was difficult to find as it's in a back ally. Parking is on the street and you need to move the car in the middle of the night to avoid a parking ticket. We didn't try the breakfast as we had other plans, but the setup looked quite nice. The large bed is one that is actually 2 beds put together with a topper. This is a major issue. I understand why management would choose this as it provides more options to accommodate various guests, but the execution never works in any hotel. There's always a dip in the middle and the beds move apart in the middle of the night making sleeping a nightmare; we did not sleep well. This is also the first business (hotel, rest. etc.) that i have experienced in Vietnam that did not have a butt spray cleaner in the toilet area. We were disappointed with that. There is also a terrible cigarette smell in the hallways. It's par for the course for hotels in Asia to have this and I recognize the challenge hotels need to deal with; just unfortunate as the first impressions going up to the room were really effected by it. Cleaning the air and washing the carpets do help a little bit, but really the only way to overcome this is to replace the carpets completely and strictly enforce a no-smoking policy by the staff. Overall, the stay was ok. There is a lot of value for the money to be found here and the friendly staff are what really make the property worth a look, as is the convenience to the walking street for dinner and fun on the weekends.
IIri_AsiaThis is the best resort in Da Nang. Anyone who is looking for a masterpiece of a course from Sir Nick Faldo, fantastic facility, wonderful views, friendliest and kindest people and amazing food. There are 6 restaurants, outdoor swimming pool, spa, gym and, of course, a golf course on the territory of the hotel. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. We had the best time there. Highly recommend that hotel for solo, couple or family travelers.
GGuest UserThe staff here were wonderful, allowing me early check in and late check out to accommodate my train schedule. They also recommended and helped me book a Hue city tour, which exceeded my expectations. I loved my room with private garden patio. Also appreciated being able to walk to the river and to the train station.
AArcherName774The location is a bit remote from the main streets, but it is within a 10 minute motorcycle ride. It is truly a homestay, there is an auntie who lives there full time, who is relatively friendly. It is shown in the pictures, but I didn't notice that the bed doesn't have a proper frame, it basically lies on the floor on a wooden pallet, but the mattress is decent. The room has lots of electronic devices, such as a dehydrator and an insect killer. The TV is huge. The bathroom experience is also good. The huge issue I had, that made my experience poor is a curtain, that doesn't properly close the window, so it's possible to clearly see the room from the yard. The management provided a makeshift half-solution, and assured me they will fix it in future, but I share my experience. There are some other small issues that should be fixed, but after they complete I think guests should have a good stay.
GGuest UserI stayed on the 3rd floor. I booked a Superior Room through Trip.com and somehow when I arrived they assumed I had used another platform. I didn't mind, as long as they arrange the room that I had booked. The room was different, it was on the first floor and it didn't have a balcony. After I told them I had booked a room with a balcony they took me to the 3rd floor to a room that was noticeably smaller. I didn't mind because I was just visiting a friend and I was going to use the room just for sleeping and working online. The wifi signal is low so it disconnects all the time, at least it did in my balcony room on the 3rd floor.
My booking included buffet breakfast and it was good. They offered a combination of Western and local dishes and a variety of drinks. However, when I checked out they couldn't find my reservation. Lobby staff handed me the bill and it took me about 10-15 minutes to convince them while showing them my emails from Trip.com that the room had been already paid.
My recommendation is that if you're going to stay with them and you plan on driving around Hue, stay there! Its location is excellent and they have a parking spot for your motorbike. There are many options for restaurants, local food, shops and such nearby the hotel even if you're going to be moving by Grab. I loved the location and the food was good.
SSarah and EricThis hotel is a great value. It’s located near many bars and restaurants, but away from the noise. You can rent motorbikes and do laundry directly with the hotel for the same price as anywhere else in town. Staff members are really nice.
Issues:
-karaoke downstairs Friday and Saturday til 10pm. Don’t plant on being home during these times.
-the alley floods with strange looking water half of the days. Careful with shoes and rolling bags!
-AC hasn’t been cleaned in a while.
We would stay here again simply because of the price.
