"Awesome stay at Melia Hue. Perfect location. The interior, service and amenities all feels high end. It’s a surprise to find such a nice hotel in small town like Hue. Definitely high CP. it’s also the tallest building in Hue, guaranteeing great views in all rooms.
There is a mall attached to the hotel with supermarket inside. Ask the front desk for eateries recommendations. And definitely get the buffet breakfast as it’s really good."

"A haven for my soul !!!
I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine.
If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did."

"Amazing stay, even though hard to communicate without Vietnamese it was a great experience. Neighbors dogs were a bit noisy but overall a very positive experience, would love to come back in future. "Wonderful hotel! Perfect cleanliness. Snow-white towels and linen. Large and bright room. It feels like you've come home!
We arrived at the hotel at 09:00 and despite the fact that according to the hotel rules check-in is only from 14:00, we were checked in immediately. From the doorway they offered cold water and fruit.
I wish the owners prosperity in business!"

"Fantastic and friendly service from Ngoc and Thu at reception and all the staff here are very welcoming.
The room was really nice and a beautiful view of the city. I really loved the gym here, it had all of the necessary equipment which is hard to find in most hotels.
The complimentary breakfast was really good value and enough variety to have a different breakfast everyday. Will definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Hue :)"

"I really liked this hotel ☺️ I stayed for 2 nights and booked an economy room without a window, but they gave me a large room with a window) the girls at the reception are very small, they speak English. The room is clean, spacious, there is a refrigerator, TV. Breakfasts are small, but quite tasty (you can choose from the menu). It's a 25-minute walk to the railway station, 5 minutes to the imperial city.
I recommend it!"

GGuest UserThe hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment.
The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities).
The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink!
The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally).
During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know!
The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked.
On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”.
We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave.
The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive.
When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

GGuest UserHue is cleaner than other cities in Vietnam. This hotel is also very clean. The staff took off their shoes when delivering the luggage. The room is not big but has a very French feel. The price is very reasonable. A fruit box is given in the room. Petals are placed on the bed, which is very romantic. The breakfast is also very good. The location is also very good. It is very convenient to go anywhere. It is very convenient to walk to Bar Street and Boat Station. The staff Ryan, Kelly, and Thanh are all very warm and friendly. I was very tired after shopping for a morning and didn’t want to go out. I had already checked out and was resting in the hotel. Kelly also helped us order takeaway lunch. The experience was very good👍

GGuest UserThe hotel itself built along the lake, and walked from one end to the other end, was about 3 km, a good enough healthy walk especially after the meal. The hotel also provided bicycles and we can order buggy instead of walking.
We booked the water villa, quite an experience to live above the water. Room is big, 130 sq meter, facilities are good, although some minor improvements could make the stay even better. For example, the bath room could have more lighting, and install towel hanging places with no plants underneath.
Staff are very friendly and with warm smiles. The two swimming pools all have wonderful view. Spa is excellent.
This hotel is good for relaxation and rest. Travelling to scenery locations are a bit far away. Driving to the Danang airport takes about 80 minutes.

LlouiseyongSuper super recommended Banyan Tree Lang Co for the super attentive butler - Mi and the manager for serving our 2 nights stay here! From the arrival to the hotel and departure, we are welcomed by their friendly manager (forgot her name😭) and Mi (our butler) even gave us a surprised cake for our anniversary! The breakfast is awesome too! Everything is awesome ! Definitely recommended to anyone from family to couple to stay here!

VVirginia Lio🌿 A peaceful and unforgettable stay at Pilgrimage Village
I stayed here during my solo trip to Hue and this was by far my favorite hotel in Vietnam. The resort is quiet, spacious, and beautifully designed — a true retreat from the busy world.
The staff were warm and professional, especially Ngoc Ha, the manager, who handled everything with great care and flexibility. I felt truly welcomed.
My room was cozy and comfortable, and the swimming pool was absolutely relaxing. I enjoyed their “buy 2 get 1 free” cocktail offer while sitting by the pool — such a peaceful moment to just unwind.
Dinner was delicious with options for buffet or à la carte, and the restaurant team was very kind and attentive, which made me feel safe and cared for as a solo traveler.
Breakfast had many choices, including authentic Vietnamese drip coffee, which was a nice touch. The resort also has great facilities and feels like amazing value for what it offers.
And don’t miss their spa! I booked a 2.5-hour session and left completely refreshed. Quiet, clean, and very professionally done.
I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hue.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and great service.

MMonitaDOverall I had a great experience until the last night ( Saturday night) when the hotel was fully booked for some kind of very wild Vietnamese people- big families with around 50 kids of different ages ( they came to celebrate the birthday) in total who ruined my sleep at 5:40am and then again ( after I told them to shut up) at 07:40 am so I couldn’t fall asleep anymore ( I worked till 01:00 am and wanted to sleep at least till 0900)🤦🏼♀️
Their kids are running the hallway from early morning screaming with doors opened into their rooms where their parents are shouting at each other ( those uneducated people from the villages can’t talk quite). You can hear it with your door closed very loudly ( my alarm rings even quieter).
The evening before they were singing karaoke in the meeting room next to the lobby bar ( in the main building), so I could hear it in my room on 5th floor.
I don’t understand why hotel management allows these such big groups which don’t even know to to respect other guests especially in 5* hotel to stay at such famous brand hotel ( Meliá) .
Those kind of the LOCAL guests just ruin the image of the hotel!
I pay money for 5* hotel to have a good sleep, but not to be disturbed by other guests 24/7 who have no manners and do not teach their kids how to behave in such places.
My suggestions for a light sleepers to AVOID this hotel on WEEKENDS as you probably won’t be able to sleep.
I have been living in Vietnam for 7 months ( mostly in 4-5* hotels ) and noticed that is a common practice for some Vietnamese to gather whole village and book 5* star hotel for weekends for celebrations.
I had the same issue in very nice 4* hotel in Hoi A where I stayed during 6 weeks. Every weekend it was a nightmare for me (in the night and early morning!).
In all other aspects if you come to Kobi during the week this is amazing hotel!
Beds, views, ONSEN, breakfast….and staff are amazing!

GGuest UserThe location is close to the center and the walking street, however it is in a quiet little street. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was big but with a bit old furnitures. There was a bath tub (which is unique in thsi area), but old and not that clean. Besides that, it was great to stay here for a couple of days.

AArnau CasadevallWe stayed just one night in Hue. The hotel was fantastic, with a really nice swimming pool. Very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. I really recommend the hotel. Also they have nice restaurant just next to the hotel if you are looking for good Vietnamese food.
Extra point: I forgot some stuff in the hotel and they managed to send it to me from Hue to Da Nang in less than 24h. This is not related to the hotel accommodations, but I really appreciate what they did.

OOne n OnlyThe manager is very nice, change room for me to nicer room when complain about toilet smell.
I did not realise the air cond not working properly after I came back in evening and basically the controller can not turn on off or control the air conditioner at all, in top the air cond only blows air at 1 speed abdc1 temperature not cool enough, end up sleeping not much at all while night because of very hot in the room with air cond not working properly.
Not trying to tell people how to manage hotel business, but as manager they should check the conditions of rooms, which are good or bad, cabinets doors, corridor carpet need to be replaced etc, if they want to attract more customers, and regularly inspect the rooms, don't wait till customers complain then try to fix problems. apart from all these hotel manager is an absolute nice person. Feel not easy to leave this hotel because she is so nice, but I need to have cool room to sleep well.
Motorbike rental is very nice from this hotel, she offer half day rate because I arrived at 2 pm.
You can do better, try harder, proactively doing things. Room has 2 nice windows and a nice balcony garden. Location of hotel is right in the centre of night eating place and walking streets.
