WwonofdayI had a truly wonderful stay at Aksari Resort. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, the overall experience was exceptional, and what stood out the most was the staff.
Every single staff member I encountered was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive. Their service felt genuine rather than just professional, and you could really sense that they cared about making guests feel comfortable and welcome. They were not only friendly but also very intuitive - always noticing small details and offering help before I even needed to ask. This level of attentiveness made the stay feel very special and personal.
I especially appreciated how accommodating they were during breakfast. While I initially wished there were a bit more variety in the menu, when I mentioned it, they kindly offered to bring additional items separately. This flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile made a big difference and showed their commitment to guest satisfaction. - also when I need to check out early in the morning, they prepared the packed to go if I requested earlier.
Another highlight was the shuttle service to Ubud. It was extremely convenient and made it easy to explore the area without worrying about transportation. Having this service available added so much value to the stay and made the overall experience even more enjoyable.
I also want to sincerely apologize because the staff had written their names down for me so I could mention them individually in this review, but unfortunately I lost the note. I feel very sorry about that because they truly deserved to be recognized one by one. Every single person I met was warm, professional, and attentive, and their kindness left a lasting impression on me.
Overall, the hospitality at Aksari Resort was outstanding. The service was thoughtful, detailed, and consistent throughout my stay. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in what they do, and it made the entire experience memorable.
I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bali, especially if you value attentive service, a peaceful atmosphere, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests. I would happily stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserPoppies is a lovely bungalow complex just perfect for couples. It wouldn’t suit families as the pool is quite small, and the room has just one queen bed. Gardens are lovely and well kept, and being right on Poppies Lane 1, has many small generic and speciality shops within an easy walk, right in the lane. Guests should be aware though that opposite the entrance are a group of menacing dogs, which came out to us and were a real risk. The staff were very understanding of this, though probably can’t control the open gate which was where they had escaped. As there is a high risk of rabies in Bali, guests should be aware that this could pose a problem. The breakfasts were probably the best and most varied we had on our recent trip, and Poppies Restarurant nearby is a lovely setting to enjoy those. Pics are of the cottages, gardens, the pool and restaurant.

You consistently go above and beyond in a way that truly elevates the entire property.
Cleanliness is absolutely next level—impeccable in every possible way with an amazing housekeeping team.

RRadomirGreat little villa in the remote area of Sebatu village. It’s very secluded place perfect for a single traveler looking for some peace and relaxation away from the busy streets of Ubud (the closest bigger city) as well as couples just trying to relax and spend some time together.
It’s 10km from Ubud or good 1 hour of car to get there (traffic is pretty crazy) however if you don’t need the lights of the city or more social environment you have pretty much everything around the villa. Several restaurants that are 300-700meter away with pretty decent food options for both lunch and dinner.
On top of that you have couple of massage places nearby as well.
Fairly close to Tegalallang rice terraces (around 20min by scooter).
To finish I’d say that the villa is small but very comfortable. The staff is pretty available and hospitable.
Definitely recommended.

SSERGEI009Great hostel to stay for 2-3 days near Batur! The price-quality is ideal! The room is modest, but that's enough. The territory has a beautiful view and a caring owner. During the day there are a lot of flies, but not only in this hostel, but in the whole village near Lake Batur. I recommend for such a price.

There are quite a lot of flies in the Kintamani area overall, not just in this hotel. However, you can ask the staff to borrow an insect racket, which is very helpful. 10/10—would book again without hesitation!

The location is perfect—nestled in the heart of Ubud’s greenery, it offers a peaceful escape with beautiful jungle views and a tranquil atmosphere. It feels private and serene, yet still close enough to Ubud’s cultural spots, cafes, and rice terraces.
The cabin is very modern, smart, and comfortable. I loved the design—minimalist yet cozy—with features like voice control, mood lighting, and a Bluetooth speaker that make the stay both fun and convenient. The bed is super comfortable, the cabin is clean and well-maintained, and waking up to the sound of nature was simply magical.
The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
What makes Bobocabin Ubud special is how it perfectly combines technology with nature. You get the luxury of comfort while still being immersed in the beauty of Bali’s tropical landscape. It’s an ideal place to relax, recharge, and experience something unique.
I would highly recommend Bobocabin Ubud to anyone visiting Bali. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or even solo, it’s the perfect getaway spot. I’ll definitely come back on my next trip to Ubud!

GGuest UserFor a couple of days, a good hotel. You can rent a bike at the hotel for 70K, there is a diving center nearby. You can order a transfer to the airport, since it is difficult to find a taxi in this area. I ordered to the airport for 700K. The room is spacious, there is air conditioning, hot water and that's it. The room is not cleaned. You can eat in the cafe near the hotel. The prices are reasonable. The cafe is open until 10 pm. The ocean is about 40 meters from the hotel.
