"The Bvlgari branding is beautiful, but the sheer ubiquity of it, literally everywhere, made me a little uncomfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, truly excellent. For dinner, there are two restaurants. We tried the Italian Michelin 3-star, ordering both a full set menu and à la carte dishes, plus cocktails, which came to over 4000 (for 3 people). Honestly, it was just okay. The other restaurant serves Indonesian food; the lobster was a bit small, but the grilled beef ribs were tasty. The prices were relatively reasonable, and the flavor was decent. At the infinity pool, even if you don't order anything, as long as you stay for a certain amount of time, they'll bring you a fruit and some iced water. Free laundry is currently available, which is a nice perk. The highlight is the Chinese butler who takes great care of you – if you're willing to spend, they'll treat you exceptionally well. The villa rooms did have a slight unpleasant odor (due to age), but the outdoor courtyard layout is quite nice. The pool isn't huge but is very well-designed, and with underwater lights, you can swim at night. My biggest disappointment was that the cliff elevator wasn't operational, and we weren't even allowed to go near the cliff edge to look. This was extremely disappointing and a significant regret, especially since the beach below the cliff was inaccessible without the elevator. As compensation, the hotel provides a car to take you to Whiterock Club's beach. My second complaint is that there was no live singing performance at the dinner restaurant or the bar. Finally, for those wondering, you can catch the sunset from the Bvlgari, right from the bar."

"Overall, this hotel is a classic five-star establishment with a sense of history. Its location next to the Ayung River is excellent, but compared to some ultra-luxury hotels, the facilities might seem relatively simple and not as extensive as one might expect. In terms of design, it's clear the hotel has some age, yet its overall style leans towards an elegant, sophisticated old-money aesthetic. It doesn't feel outdated; instead, it exudes a timeless sense of understated luxury. The dining experience was good, with the Japanese restaurant being a particular highlight—the food was delicious. However, while the breakfast offered a combination of à la carte and buffet options, providing sufficient choices, the variety wasn't particularly abundant, and the taste didn't quite meet my high standards. What truly impressed me the most was the service. Among all the hotels I've stayed in, this one's service is arguably the best and most ceremonial to date. Every single staff member was incredibly enthusiastic, meticulous, and genuinely cared for the guests, making you feel treated like a king or queen. As for the hardware, it's standard high-end five-star configuration—nothing overly surprising, but certainly above expectations."

"Best hotel I've ever stayed. All the staffs are extremely friendly and the butler service is very responsive and helpful. The details in the room and garden are perfect. Waking up to a blue ocean view with private pool. Birds and butterflies in the garden makes it even better. Strongly recommended."

"Book the best valley-view room type! The basic rooms are at the bottom of the valley with average views, and they tend to be damp with cold pool water. The upgraded rooms are halfway up the mountain, offering excellent views, fewer insects, no dampness, and a constant 40-degree (Celsius) heated pool. Dinner has a lot of vegetarian options. The spa has a great ambiance and excellent service. The hotel staff are wonderful, and you can even spot many small squirrels. It's a perfect secluded getaway, a truly unique experience worldwide. Highly recommended! (Be cautious if you're particularly afraid of insects.)"

"The beauty of Aman isn't just about its top-notch environment and service; it's about the profound sense of calm it instills, reflecting its unique, secluded culture in every detail. Absolutely wonderful! My Aman experience in Bali this time was exceptional. After the hotel arranged our airport transfer on the last day, I thought that was the end of it once we got out of the car at the airport. To my surprise, there were two staff members waiting for us at the airport, accompanying us all the way through check-in to the security gate. I'll love Aman forever!"

"This is very important, so I'll say it three times: the soundproofing in the ocean view suites is absolutely terrible! If you have trouble sleeping, don't choose this one! On our first night in the ocean view suite, our whole family barely slept. The sound of the waves was like thunder, and we couldn't sleep until the tide went out around midnight (we've stayed in many beachfront hotels, and we're certain it's a hardware design issue). The next day, we contacted the hotel, and their solution was to upgrade to a garden view room but not refund the price difference. What kind of logic is it to downgrade a room just because we didn't get a good rest due to poor hotel facilities? We asked for an early check-out, but the hotel refused. They also refused to accept the price difference as a deferred payment, only agreeing to a late check-out on the third day. The whole experience felt incredibly rigid, or rather, arrogant. Finally, Ctrip refunded the price difference, which resolved the issue. Otherwise, our trip would have been a complete disaster. We moved from Aman Resorts, arriving at around 9 AM. Our booked room wasn't ready yet, and Aman even arranged another villa for us to rest in. The difference in service was stark. However, the service in other areas was excellent; the restaurant and room service were great, and the Chinese-speaking butler was very patient. What deserves special praise is the hotel's independent Japanese and Western restaurants perched on the cliff, where the views of the waves and sunsets are absolutely stunning, and the service is exceptional. The best time to watch the waves is from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM."

"1. Lot: There is a 3-5 minute distance from the beach. The hotel can send a car to the hotel's exclusive beach club at any time. Very convenient, when I arrived at the club, some staff took ice water and ice towels to the tanning pavilion where the beach towels were laid, as well as mosquito repellent and sunscreen. The hotel is in the mountains, the scenery is very good, in the lobby and restaurant can view the scenery under the mountain. 2, design: Australian designers 25 years ago, today's works are still so elegant, temperament! 3, facilities: the pool is large, there is an all-day restaurant, a good library. I can’t see it completely 25 years ago, and it’s managed quite well! 4, service: Amman, these two words explain everything, no more multilingual! 5, value-added: I don't know the relationship between spring break, one day free charter service, and free shuttle service, solve many problems, very good value-added service experience! After staying for 3 days and 2 nights, it is regrettable that the driver who sent the plane on the last day learned that the landlord will be closed at the end of February 2018 because the landlord will not renew his contract. Very sad! But also very fortunate, AMANNUSA was chosen in the last hotel in Bali. Forever Amman! I hope that 150 employees in the hotel will be well!"

"Desa Potato Head enjoys a fantastic location in Seminyak, surrounded by great restaurants and just a short distance from the shopping district. We stayed in a Garden Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The bathtub overlooking the lush garden was a particularly nice touch, creating a relaxing atmosphere after a day out. One of the highlights of our stay was the morning yoga session, a wonderful way to start the day. The resort also offers several swimming pools, allowing guests to choose between different settings depending on their mood. Combined with the vibrant beach club atmosphere and sustainability-focused concept, Desa Potato Head delivers a unique Bali experience. The property itself is a visual masterpiece, featuring striking architecture that blends contemporary design with Balinese influences. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts. From the iconic beachfront views and artistic installations to the beautifully designed walkways and pools, there are countless Instagram-worthy spots throughout the resort. The main drawback is the transportation arrangement. The hotel actively supports the local community and appears to encourage the use of local taxi services, as indicated by signage displayed in the lobby area. On its website, the policy is described as being due to local community regulations. As a result, app-based ride services such as Grab and Gojek are required to pick up guests at the end of the driveway on Jalan Petitenget rather than directly from the hotel lobby. As a savvy traveller who likes to compare prices before booking transportation, I found this arrangement somewhat inconvenient. While the hotel can readily arrange local taxis, their fares are generally less competitive than those offered by ride-hailing apps. Guests must either walk to the main road or request the hotel’s shuttle to the entrance on Jalan Petitenget, then locate a suitable pickup point to meet their driver. This can be inconvenient, particularly in hot weather, during rain, or when travelling with luggage. Overall, Desa Potato Head is an excellent choice for its location, facilities, wellness activities, unique architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. If the transportation arrangement is improved or a more convenient pickup point is provided, the guest experience would be even better."
