Shangri-La Hostels

I highly recommend staying here, it exceeded all my expectations! The rooms were spotless, with clean beds and plenty of space. They provide towels, toothbrushes, and bottled water. The owner puts so much thought into the little details, making the hostel feel cozy and welcoming. For girls, it's a dream! The bathroom is stocked with essentials, and there's even a vanity mirror in the common area, perfect for doing your makeup comfortably. The owner is super helpful and friendly, and they can also help you arrange tours. Plus, you can rent an e-bike or e-car directly from them. If you're in Shangri-La, don't hesitate to stay here!

Overall room was basic. There was a restaurant in the hotel that offer hot meals. It was low reason, thus the hostel was quite empty during our stay. Or perhaps the location was so close to the bus station, most hikers will hop into bus and back to Lijiang or Shangri-La straight away. The hotel is located uphill. The only trouble we faced was our baggages was stored at the public storage room downhill, and we had to carried our own baggages walk about 200m uphill, and 3 storey staircase to our room.

The location is great and the staff is very friendly. The sheets were clean and the bed comfortable. However, the carpet in the bedroom was quite dirty and could use an update. There was also a broken tile in the bathroom shower. I think this place is probably better if you stay in a dorm, as it would be great value.

In addition, the accommodation is very comfortable, there are electric blankets, the bath water is very hot, the snow-capped mountains are outside the window, you can watch the stars at night, you can watch the sunrise in the morning, and you can dance the pot village dance together when there are many people and listen to Luke blowing the asparagus. The folk customs in the village are simple and simple, and the good atmosphere of the road and the night is not closed.
