We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming hotel located right in the heart of the ancient town. The location is unbeatable, with everything within walking distance, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of the owner family. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even helping us with our heavy luggages. One of the highlights of our trip was when they personally drove us around the city! As a group of five, we struggled to find a taxi big enough to accommodate us, but the owners stepped in and made sure we didn’t miss out on seeing the best parts of the city. They also gave us fantastic recommendations, including a fun and engaging cultural show that we thoroughly enjoyed, as well as some amazing local restaurants that we wouldn’t have found on our own. The owner family’s warmth and genuine care for their guests truly set this hotel apart. If I could give them ten stars, I absolutely would—they deserve every single one! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and heartwarming stay. We can’t wait to come back!

The location is good, just outside the ancient city. And they provide free transport to the train station. Everything else is nothing much to shout about, compared to our other hotels during the stay. The biggest downside is the heating, which is centralised and we can't control on our own. So even though it says there is floor heating, the room is still very very cold at night. Luckily the bed has heating but it is a bit too hot. So at night we were caught in the dilemma of the bed being too hot but the room being too cold.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming accommodation. The place is very near to the main road where the taxi can drop you off right at the doorstep. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Zhang Hui 张慧 and her husband who made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, providing helpful tips about the area and checking in to see if we needed anything. The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort. The rooms were  exceptionally cozy, spacious and  warm. We really appreciate the heated floor! Overall, our experience was nothing short of wonderful. This place truly has it all: a clean and comfortable room with skylight, a stunning courtyard and amazing hosts who really care about their guests. Can't wait to return for another stay!

Friends, I strongly recommend this inn. I am a bit of a germaphobe, hahaha. I have nothing to say about this inn. The hygiene is in place, and the sound insulation is also good. This inn is right at the east gate of Dukezong Ancient City. The transportation is super convenient. It is super convenient to visit the ancient city and eat. The No. 3 bus to Songzanlin Temple is near the inn, which is super convenient [snickering]. The room is spacious and clean. It is the ******* style that I like very much. The room is large and comfortable. The heating is very sufficient. There is also a humidifier. The boss also gave us fruits and snacks. There is also a very cute dog [love]. Anyway, it is very good. Just close your eyes and enter [applause]

A decent Tibetan-style hotel. The decor was amazing, with traditional ******* designs that made the place feel really cozy and special. Every corner had something beautiful to look at, from the wall hangings to the carved furniture. The staff were super friendly and helpful, always there when you needed something and really nice to talk to despite my Chinese not being perfect. They definitely made my stay more enjoyable the disposable towels were a strange choice. Regular towels would have been better. All in all, I had a lovely time and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a cool ******* experience with awesome service

This quaint Tibetan-style inn is right next to the big prayer wheel. It has an independent glass observation deck, which is very comfortable. It is also located in the center of the ancient city, making it very convenient for visiting the ancient city. Because you can't drive into the ancient city, the hotel also has a special luggage pick-up service, the service is still very good, highly recommended

Hygiene: Very good, even the wooden structure does not feel aged Facilities: There is an oxygen supply machine, floor heating (on for a long time), the bathroom has fan heating, and the shower is not cold. Service: The hotel is run by a family and the people are very nice. Free pick-up and drop-off. We stayed there for five days and there was no change in attitude. It’s as good as ever. Surrounding environment: It is near the entrance of Dukezong. The ground of Dukezong is uneven. If you have a lot of suitcases, you can choose this hotel. It will not be too tiring. The only drawback is: no soundproofing. If you are a light sleeper, be careful when choosing a long-term residence. Short-term rentals are acceptable.

The best way to escape the bitter summer in the Central Plains is to go to the north of Yunnan. Walking on the stone road of Dukezong again after nine years, I found that the simplicity and tranquility of the ancient city had been disturbed a lot. Noisy tourists and impetuous beings also occupied the streets and alleys of the ancient city. Fortunately, the Hengzheng Paina Inn I chose blindly did not disappoint me and even brought many surprises. I found a quiet and beautiful place to stay in the bustling ancient city. The B&B is located in a quiet place amidst the bustle and is spotless. It reflects the thoughts, tastes and intentions of the owners. The owners are a young couple from Beijing who went there because of their love. They spent nine years just to create a Shambhala that all kinds of travelers hope for. No matter the master or we who are wandering, this place of peace is my hometown. Appreciate the owner's bravery, persistence, intention and taste. And we have planned escapes too many times, only to find that we are still in the same place after many years. Too many regrets in the world come from wanting not to do something, and the way to resolve it should be invisible between horizontal and vertical strokes. I hope this kind of good B&Bs will get better and better, and there will be more and more of them.

From arrival till checkout all the needs has been taken care of and exceeded our expectation.....my friend was not well during the stay and the team has given required medication and oxygen to help recover quickly....Thumbs up service for the passing-cloud resort shangrila team...
