Best accommodation we stayed in Yunnan. Staff was really helpful throughout the whole stay. Helped to book and recommended a 吐司宴, and provided transport to and fro. They were really responsive and answered every queries we had on WeChat group. The staff really deserved a good praise. The place also had animals running around that guest could interact with. Very nice to just watch them from our rooms.

One of the best homestay we stayed at across the different cities in Yunnan. They provide all sorts of amenities such as oxygen and humidifier machine in the room to help reduce the symptoms of high altitude. The boss and lady boss are super friendly and hospitable. Location wise is ideal as it is within the old town. You can contact the boss via WeChat before arrival to help bring your luggage up from the North gate as there is some slope. We also booked our Tu Si Yan via them. Beautiful view at night but it was snowing when we went. Will definitely stay here again if I’m back.

At first we contemplated to choose to stay here. But after much consideration, we decided to stay and forget about the price. As we decided that the experience here would be priceless! And we definitely grateful with the decision that we made. The whole place is so beautiful and charming. With animals running around, politeness of the staffs assisting our every needs, complimentary services provided by the hotel, this hotel is really cost- effective! We are greeted with warm tea, and then with complimentary afternoon coffee and cakes. Their coffee and cake are very delicious 🤤 We also get to experience wearing the ******* clothing and free photography session. As we are muslims, we need to pray for zuhur prayer. But the check out time is before zuhur time. The staff gave us a room to pray after we check out and we really appreciate their kind gesture. The staff also gave us free rides to halal restaurants and train station. We recommend people to stay here at least once, you will not regret it 🩷

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming accommodation. The place is very near to the main road where the taxi can drop you off right at the doorstep. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Zhang Hui 张慧 and her husband who made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, providing helpful tips about the area and checking in to see if we needed anything. The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort. The rooms were  exceptionally cozy, spacious and  warm. We really appreciate the heated floor! Overall, our experience was nothing short of wonderful. This place truly has it all: a clean and comfortable room with skylight, a stunning courtyard and amazing hosts who really care about their guests. Can't wait to return for another stay!

The hotel provides excellent services. The best hotel to stay in shangrila. The location is very strategic near the supermarket and other food stalls. If you are a muslim, this hotel is very close to the halal food stall. The hotel provides pick-up and drop off at the railway station. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. It also provides extra oxygen in the room. If you come to shangrila, book this hotel straightaway. You will not regret it. You can communicate with the hotel if you want to go to the balagezong.

The room is clean and spacious. The property owner was friendly and very accommodating. She helped to arrange the complimentary free pick up from train station even I requested it on the same day of my arrival date. She also helped me to book day tour. They provided packed food (ie: bread) if you need to leave earlier than breakfast time. The receptionist can speak English so that it’s very helpful for non Chinese speaker guess. The location is also nicely located near the north gate of old town which most of the tourist buses will make a stop at the north gate.

It happened to snow heavily before I checked out. The snow scenery outside the window was very beautiful. You can directly see Dukezong Ancient City and Dajintong. It is about a 10-minute walk away. The snacks provided by the B&B are also delicious, and parking spaces are also provided There are also disposable bath towels, which are very safe to use

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a very enjoyable experience. We were upgraded to a starry night room and it was interesting to be able to view the night sky in the room. There was night time drinks (ginger tea or warm milk) served nightly. During the day, they also offered coffee or fruits if we passed the reception area. Room was cleaned well daily. It felt clean enough to walk about the room barefoot. We booked this hotel as we were concerned about developing altitude sickness and noted that the hotel had oxygen supply facilities. Thankfully, we did not require it. We did not notice during booking that the room did not have AC and was shocked when the staff offered to bring us a standing fan as it was a hot day, after showing us our room. Luckily, it was much cooler in the night, and we could rest well by keeping the air ventilators ( so that the cool air from outside could be brought into the room) on throughout the night. What we appreciate was that the owner was a no nonsense kind of person and was not salesy. He did not try to sell any tours nor drivers to us even when we enquired. He simply mentioned the cost and left it for us to decide. Location was good. Hotel was accessible by car and just 5 steps from the old town. Lots of food options, convenience stalls and other amenities available. We will definitely stay back at this hotel or the owner’s other hotel at our next visit.

The place is near to the road and u will have no trouble draging your bags, the taxi can drop u off in front of the hotel, it is also Near to the dukezong, you can js walk if you want. The host is familiar with tourist communicate through wechat translate or google translet.
