We love the big clean spacious room with nice view. The room is so big that we can fully open 2 big luggages and still have plenty of space. Located in the heart of the old city, with many shops and restaurants around. The bed is very comfortable, and they provided oxygen machine and humidifier, which are great for high-altitude stay. There is a sofa in the room, too. The operator is very friendly and helpful. He even woke up early to send us to the main road as it will be challenging to lug our luggages along the uneven ancient road. Will stay at this hotel again if we come back to Shangri-La. This was our favorite stay of the trip hands down ! First of all, the staff were kind and service was attentive. The highlight was definitely the resident animals. They were friendly and super adorable. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the grassland where you can see hundreds of yaks and snow mountain from afar. The food was simple but delicious with fresh ingredients. At night (if weather allows), the staff will start a bonfire with roasted marshmallow and popcorn. We even played with fireworks and took turns singing karaoke ! This stay was a perfect balance between having fun while resting and recharging. Highly highly recommend !

Contacted owner a night before arrival and he waited for our arrival at the train station 10 minutes even before our arrival. We were greeted warmly at the reception with hot tea and lucky us, early check in was available. Owner carried our 25kg-heavy luggage to the room and introduced us the usages of moisturiser, oxygen supply, controllers etc. Room was spacious, clean and neat, comfortable for the two of us, overlooking the temples just from the window. Plus points were definitely the comfy bed, pillows, LED projectors with variety of shows and clothes hangers! Toiletries, bath towels, face towels were all disposable, ensuring tip-top hygiene. Daily room cleaning with unlimited water bottles supply. There are washing machine and drying machine that the staff were so helpful to help us with laundry- all we needed to do is just pass them our dirty clothes and waited to be returned. One evening we came back in cold, the reception staff immediately offered us hot ginger tea. Location is merely just 5 mins walk away from the busy streets. Eateries are all around. Regardless, all these do not affect the calm and quiet within the homestay. Perfect homestay with superb hospitality. All you gotta do is enjoy the stay and be rest assured that this homestay management will take good care of you. This is definitely the right homestay for anyone!

Very convenient, convenient transportation, It takes five minutes to walk to the ancient city. This store is the most satisfying one in Yunnan!

There was also a ******* clothing experience, but because the schedule was too full, I didn’t have the opportunity to experience it. The boss is very good. We often drink tea and chat together in the evening. I learned a lot about local folk customs and some life lessons during the chat. I will come again next time if I have the chance. I was lucky enough to see the golden mountain in the sun in Meili Snow Mountain. The boss said it was a blessing. Hahahaha, I am very happy!

We had a great 2 nights stay in this hotel. Our room is 205 it had a big window and the view is overlooking parts of the mountains. Outstanding! We love it so much! Fellow Malaysians I recommend you this hotel. Walking distance to old town and halal restaurants are easy to find on the way. I would like to express my gratitude to all the hotel staffs. They were really amazing and help us a lot during our stay. We felt so touch by their kind action. A nice guy staff even help us do the laundry. A nice beautiful lady Xian walk with us to show us halal yak’s meat restaurant and later bring us to the e-bike rental place. Xian also helps to call and arrange with our hotel in Lijiang. We practically asked her for help with everything 😆. During our stay in Shangri-la we went skiing at Shangri-la ski park and Napahai valley the next day.The hotel provide pickup and drop off service to the train station which we find it so convenient. Breakfast also nice i love the steamed Mantau. All hotels staff always smiling at us and we felt so welcome. Hotel room was clean and big and had nice view. We also had time for photo-shoot with the display costume at the lobby for free. Please choose this hotel you wont regret i promise you ❤️
