Shangri-La Hotels with Hot Tub

I’ve just returned to my home country, and I’m already missing my stay at this Shangri-La hotel! Located in the beautiful Napahai Grassland area, the setting is so serene and peaceful. You don’t need to go anywhere—just staying at this hotel feels like a healing vacation in itself. I stayed for just one night, and I didn’t leave the property because I wanted to fully enjoy the experience. The room was absolutely wonderful, surrounded by many cute animals that added such a delightful touch to the stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They created a group chat to communicate with guests and were incredibly attentive. Anytime we needed something, they were quick to help. For example, we asked for coffee, and they generously provided it free of charge! We also got to enjoy a free customer photoshoot, which was a fun and memorable experience—the photos turned out amazing! To top it off, the staff kindly offered us a complimentary drop-off service to the train station, making our departure so much smoother and stress-free. The room itself was warm, spacious, and cozy—with probably the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever slept in!

The temperature goes down to -10 at night but you can hardly feel it while inside the rooms. Their insulation is very good and the room feels warm everyday even without floor heating. Only downside was the low ceiling which we were not warned about. Hence, be extra careful when walking around in the room. The hosts are very helpful and would fetch/send us with the luggages to the North Gate. It’s within 5-10 mins walk to 四方街 and the 转经筒. Beautiful view of the whole 古城, which also means that it’s an upslope walk back to the accommodation. The dryer will be turned off between 11pm-930am everyday, but the hosts will kindly help you with your laundry if you ask! Highly recommended and one of my favourite stays in Yunnan!

A new hotel with a great location. First impression - modern designer chic, from the reception and lobby. Rooms - also modern interior design. Facilities are good with oxygen concentrator machine (very important), humidifier, heated flooring and even heated bathroom and toilet! Benefits - daily breakfast, unlimited latte or tea during the day, unlimited mineral water and soft drinks in the room fridge. Complimentary afternoon tea and good night dessert. Location - The hotel is just up the street from Dukezong Old Town north gate, which can be reached in just a few minutes easy stroll. Service - very attentive. When we had troubles with the electronic heating panel in our room, they came and solved it immediately.

We truly truly enjoyed our stay here. The view, the animals, the staff, everything was great. We had to get used to the climate but after 1 night, everything is well! We're Muslims and the hotel prepared a vegetarian breakfast for us. The hotel also prepared us tea time, evening special drink sent to our rooms. It was really enjoyable. They were not stingy as well. Sent us to the nearest farm for horseriding experience, gave us goody bag when we checked out. We even had a free photoshoot, complete with traditional costumes! The hotel is about 20mins away from dukezong town, I think it's ok! I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The host is very friendly On our first day arrival , he go thru with us our itinerary and adjust some Has many little tibbit serve for free, free flow mineral water, probiotics The camp fire environment at night is also very cool Overall pleasant stay for 2 nights during our shangrila trip Location is nearby the old town but not exactly in it Car assessable location which I feel is good instead of staying inside the old town Amenities is one time use towel but if u don’t like u can request normal towel All amenities is average grade not as luxury type but ok for the price of the hotel charge Breakfast is the simple type but nice noodle

Exceptional stay at Z Hotel Shangri-La! Friendly staff, comfy rooms, and thoughtful touches like choice of fragrance for our bath and lotion, welcome drink and snack, mini bar and free laundry service. Especially our exclusive butler, 梅朵, she has been very responsive and helped us to arrange good driver to send us to balagezong with a reasonable price, she even arranged a driver to take us to the train station, free of charge. Highly recommended! Location is also good walking distance to Dukezong Ancient City. We always walk there around 15-20 mins walk.

It such an honour to receive warm & great hospitality. Even though we only stayed only 1 night, they really helped us to fullfill our last minute itinerary. My last minute to Balagezong succeed with their help! This hotel also offered pick & sent us from or to train station! The owner also response super fast all my inquiries thru wechat. Really recommended to stay here especially winter time since they have floor heated & warmer inside their room!

Hotel is really nice, this is the nicest hotel our whole china trip. Hotel looks new and host is friendly, they helped us carry our luggage up to the room. We came mid December and it was so cold but the moment you enter the hotel it is very warm. The room is warm enough as well and the water pressure is good and warm water easily available for shower.

Highly recommended, great value for money ＜Pick-up service＞Exclusive driver free airport or station pick-up: The uncle was very nice and picked us up very promptly Facilities: The whole house is smart, Xiaodu Xiaodu is very convenient, and there is heating and oxygen supply, which greatly alleviates the altitude sickness Sanitation: The room is very clean and you can see that it is newly renovated Environment: Very close to the ancient city, stayed for two nights, and walked to the ancient city for three days to stroll and eat, there are so many places to eat nearby Service: Not only pick up at the airport, but also breakfast fruit and hot drinks in the evening, this price is really worth it!

I had the most incredible stay at Shangri-la Runjing Muqi B&B. The moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The property is beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comforts, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle of daily life. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully decorated, reflecting the local charm of Shangri-la. The attention to detail was remarkable—from the soft linens to the carefully curated amenities that added a touch of luxury to my stay. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the owner of the inn. She was incredibly kind and accommodating, even offering to pick me up from the train station and drop me off when I left, which was a huge help as the B&B is located about 25 minutes from the town and getting a Didi can be a bit challenging in the area. The inn doesn’t have elevators, only a staircase, but the staff were so attentive—they carried my luggage up and down for me, ensuring I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The location is perfect for exploring the serene beauty of Shangri-la. Nearby attractions include Potatso National Park, Songzanlin Monastery, and Dukezong Ancient Town, as well as a nearby horse ranch, where you can dress in traditional ******* costumes and ride across the scenic grasslands. The on-site breakfast was delicious, with fresh, locally sourced options that made each morning a delight. Overall, Shangri-la Runjing Muqi B&B offers an unforgettable experience. It’s a peaceful retreat with exceptional service, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to explore the wonders of Shangri-la. I can’t wait to return!
