Located near the entrance of Dukezong Ancient City, just a short walk away and away from the hustle and bustle. Room was spacious and modern. The projector was huge and great to use. We had fun using Xiaodu too.

From the moment we booked, the host was extremely responsive, keeping in touch with us for three weeks before our trip. They provided useful tips, such as bringing heavy clothes due to the cold and snow, which helped us a lot in preparing for our visit. One of the best things about this homestay was the hospitality. The host picked us up and dropped us off at the train station for free of charge, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. They also went the extra mile by lending us winter jackets at no cost, which was a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, they arranged a driver for us to visit the places we wanted to explore, making our trip smooth and enjoyable. The homestay itself was fantastic—spacious, exactly as shown in the pictures, and equipped with complete amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the hot blankets and oxygen supply, which were essential due to Shangri-La’s high altitude. It also provides extra oxygen in the room. If you come to shangrila, book this hotel straightaway. You will not regret it. You can communicate with the hotel if you want to go to the balagezong.
