"I typically don't write reviews but the service was so good here during my stay that I'm making an exception.
1. The hotel staff picked us up at the train station upon our arrival, and also took us back there at the end of our stay, at no cost.
2. Every member of the staff has a great attitude, always smiling and ready to lend you a helping hand.
3. We didn't use them, though you can do your laundry (both washing machines and dryers are available). Detergent is free to use.
4. Breakfast is only worth it if included.
5. Rooms are clean and reasonably large. Two chairs are available even in the most basic rooms.
6. If you intend to travel outside the city, you can ask the front desk for recommendations, they'll put you in touch with a driver for hire.
All in all, it's extremely good value for money. It's the first time I experienced such type of service when the hotel room is only 200RMB a night!"

"All the way from Guangxi to Hunan and back to Guangxi, this is my favorite hotel. Whether it is a B&B or a hotel, this hotel has the lowest price and the best details. I have lived in so many hotels without this kind of service. This detail is very intimate and warm! The room was clean and tidy, the supplies were individually packaged, the living was very comfortable, and the use was very assured. "We choose the Seli Hotel due to fact that they allowed our dog. The location was great for us since there is green corridor between the hotel and the canal which made it very easy to bring our little friend out for his business. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious and the mattress was comfortable. The lights are a bit challenging to navigate. Floors and carpets could get a bit more tender love in terms of cleaning. Great breakfast buffet and environment, very light and inviting. We wished there would be a minifridge in the room though. A drawback is that you hear everything, from people in the adjoining rooms. We even hear the music from the hallway. But they did turn it off after we asked."

The scenery and food he introduces are of first-class quality. The neighbor relationship is harmonious. Sister Huang next door is enthusiastic, generous and lovely. The dishes she makes are natural plant extracts and taste good. Affordable price! Oh, Huangyao Ancient Town is really a place with simple folk customs, beautiful scenery and picturesque mountains and rivers. It is a rare civilized and pure land far away from the worldly world. After arriving at the hotel according to the address, the beautiful and handsome men at the front desk were very enthusiastic. They even gave me fruits when I checked in. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast had many varieties. , there is a Guangming porridge restaurant across the road that is worth recommending. All in all, five stars.

Sanitation: Very clean! We also upgraded to a room with a view. In the morning, we can see the beautiful scenery when we open the window. It's great!

Speaking of service, the hotel will help with moving and introduce the scenic spots along the way, so that an unknown person followed us all the way to the hotel and asked for a business card. I will stay here again in the future because the service is so attentive. I saw the legendary three peacocks and a blue cat named Maharashtra, who was very dear to me. The Niu Ge breakfast shop next to the hotel is really delicious. Visitors who come to stay must try the fried silkworm glutinous rice and water chestnut noodles! Overall, this is a hotel with good service and warmth. I was in a hurry this time. I arrived at night and left the next morning. I did not fully explore the beauty of the ancient town. I will still stay here next time I come to Huangyao.

The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay.
