Huangyao is a place I have always wanted to go. Although it is several years late, I finally have time to go there. Deyun Villa has a grand name, simple decoration, good service attitude of the boss, large room, and a small balcony that I like. It's a pity that the weather is too cold, otherwise it would be a pleasure to sit and drink a cup of tea. The best thing is that the location is excellent, very close to the entrance of the ancient town, and the famous Dailong Bridge is at the turn. There are many attractions and snacks nearby. It is worth recommending

The location is very good! Right at the location of the dragon claw banyan tree. Sanitation: Very clean! We also upgraded to a room with a view. In the morning, we can see the beautiful scenery when we open the window. It's great! Service: The boss is very good! We also gave them their specialty rice noodles and the fruit they picked, Wogan. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, especially sitting on the roof of his house to drink tea and enjoy the view. It is simply a paradise on earth.

The B&B is at the west gate entrance of Huangyao Ancient Town. Walk a few steps in and call the hotel. A guy took us to the parking lot. The parking lot is outside and it only takes a few minutes to walk. The town is not big, and the night view with lights on at night is still good. The bluestone slabs on the ground have been very bright after years of walking. The town surrounded by mountains looks very quaint during the day. The lobby of the B&B is designed in a nostalgic style. It is still very beautiful to take pictures when you have nothing to do.

I have been to many B&Bs in ancient towns, but there are very few that I can never forget. Nianju Inn is an inn that I would like to visit again after I visited it once. The decoration style of the inn is simple yet elegant, fashionable and practical. You can feel the owner's care for the inn, and he manages and decorates the inn as if it were his own home. Very clean, every decoration is carefully thought out and ready for use. The floor-to-ceiling windows have a wide view, and there is a viewing platform on the top floor. You can have a panoramic view of the karst mountain shape. The simplicity of Huangyao Ancient Town is simply sitting on the platform, sipping tea and enjoying the scenery! The landlady is enthusiastic, attentive and diligent. The boss will guide you, carry your luggage, move your car for you, and remind you to drive safely. Nianju is a cultured and warm inn. If I can go to Huangyao again, I will definitely stay at Nianju.

Very close to Qianxing Square, the guesthouse is in the style of an old house, very cozy. The flowers and plants in the courtyard and the balcony are beautifully decorated. I loved curling up on the sofa, relaxing and unwinding – it was so comfortable and pleasant. The owner was very kind and recommended more suitable itineraries based on my arrival time, and could also help arrange shared transportation. I originally booked a first-floor room, but because it was the off-season and I was the only guest, I was upgraded to the second floor. The small staircase had a retro feel. The owner even helped take photos upon arrival; their photography skills were excellent. Overall, the stay was very comfortable. The only downsides were that the room was a bit small (maybe it was related to the room type I booked), the mattress was a bit hard, the bathroom light was a bit dim, and the soundproofing wasn't great. This charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons. The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay. All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience.

I specifically booked this B&B for my parents, and its location is excellent, right inside the ancient town scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Strolling through the ancient town in the evening was peaceful and enjoyable, and the stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The owner was warm and attentive, providing thoughtful and detailed service. My parents were exceptionally comfortable and satisfied with their stay. There are mosquitoes in the room and the mosquito coils are very choking. It is recommended to replace them with mosquito coil liquid. This is the only drawback. By the way, the curtains do not block light. Everything else is fine. At this price, the price/performance ratio is pretty good.
