Arrived late at night, and the front desk staff was very friendly. They upgraded our room for free. I hadn't realized that the 'Elegant Queen Room' came in both windowed and non-windowed versions. The upgraded room had a small window, but it didn't feel like a significant difference. The amenities were pretty standard for a Home Inn, especially the tissues, comb, disposable slippers, and a hairdryer with adjustable hot/cold settings and good power. The overall environment was very clean, which is commendable! All these aspects were quite good. 🥲 Areas for improvement: 1. The room was seriously tiny, feeling more like a box. This led to two noticeable issues: firstly, it was hard for moisture to escape the bathroom, making the bedding feel damp and less comfortable; secondly, two people couldn't move around at the same time. Only one person could pass at the foot of the bed, in the bathroom, etc. 2. The WiFi router light was way too bright and pointed directly at the bed, with a strong blue light that made it hard to fall asleep. 3. Around midnight, when I was about to sleep, there was a noticeable, continuous, inexplicable noise, like an air conditioner vibration, either from upstairs or next door. Then, around 5:30 AM, there was another loud, rhythmic banging noise. It severely disrupted my sleep… I recommend investigating this.
