Best Haining Hotels

"For starters, I stay at this hotel for many years when it opened up. to my knowledge, this hotel has not had any renovations to the rooms since it’s opening. The carpets are in dire need of replacement, all the electrical outlets do very little to hold even the simplest of charging adapters. They all fall out and you have to use a book or something else to hold the adapter in place. For a foreigner, it is very difficult to find English-speaking staff, when checking in. The breakfast buffet is very limited as I suspect they are maintaining their costs due to lack of gas. The location is great for a small city as it is centrally located near the shopping mall and also some eating places nearby. It is not my choice of hotel in the area now as there is a newer, larger and much cleaner hotel nearby. However, on this day, I was put in a situation where I had to stay there because the other hotel was completely sold out and had been for several days. My recommendation for this hotel is they spend the much needed money for some renovations as it would be a good time since they do not have a ton of guest at the moment. They could section off certain floors of the hotel and start the renovations if possible. It is not a horrible stay just not to the level it was years ago."

"Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room is high-tech, I got an amazing view with floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s a Dyson hair dryer in the room, and the room aesthetics were cool. Hotel is right beside a giant shopping mall (Yintai City), and there are many amenities. Gym and self-service laundry are free and available 24/7, and your room can monitor the progress of the laundry. Overall just super value-for-money and an absolute steal."

"The receptionist was really helpful and welcoming! The breakfast was excellent, with freshly made egg rolls and a wide variety. Hualuxe's style is very Chinese, and the rooms aren't very large. The pool is quite nice, and there's also a hot spring bath, which is great for a dip after a swim. Overall, I highly recommend it!"

"Very nice resort. I didn’t use all the amenities but it looks very nice. The food is not very foreigner friendly, specially the breakfast. Not many people during the weekdays so buffet isn’t available but the people is very nice and welcoming."

"First time being in Grand New Century Hotel. Started with warm welcoming at the front desk with Ms Wang(王翠); staffs here kind are helpful, certainly meet five star hotel standard . Room are quite and clean with open view . Gym open from 06:30 till 22:00 . Good to have some exercise before bed . Over all I had a great night here, would return for sure."

"I came to Shanghai for work and had a baby with me. I was afraid that the baby would be bored, so I chose a lively place. I thought I could go out for a walk while doing errands. The location of the hotel, which is right next to the shopping mall, is absolutely perfect🤙 The hotel is in an office building. The beautiful woman at the front desk was very enthusiastic and gave me an extra set of dental kits and free breakfast. It was a surprise😍. The room was booked as a parent-child room, so it was very big, clean and tidy👍, and there was bath water. It's very big, the mattress is comfortable and big, especially my daughter is so happy to jump around I don’t comment much on the breakfast because it is provided. If you have some requirements, I think you should not go there🤭. The milk is too sweet🌚There are no noodles and wontons🤦♂️The blueberry sauce and butter are melted and frozen🙄, look at my last one You can tell from the photo. I only had some porridge and cucumber fermented bean curd. I felt like I was eating like an elderly person🤭🤭"

"The front desk lady was very nice. The superior twin room I booked was upgraded to a deluxe twin room for free! Although the breakfast tasted average, the hotel staff were very nice, and the cleaning lady who passed by greeted us. I would stay here again next time."
