"For starters, I stay at this hotel for many years when it opened up. to my knowledge, this hotel has not had any renovations to the rooms since it’s opening. The carpets are in dire need of replacement, all the electrical outlets do very little to hold even the simplest of charging adapters. They all fall out and you have to use a book or something else to hold the adapter in place. For a foreigner, it is very difficult to find English-speaking staff, when checking in. The breakfast buffet is very limited as I suspect they are maintaining their costs due to lack of gas. The location is great for a small city as it is centrally located near the shopping mall and also some eating places nearby. It is not my choice of hotel in the area now as there is a newer, larger and much cleaner hotel nearby. However, on this day, I was put in a situation where I had to stay there because the other hotel was completely sold out and had been for several days. My recommendation for this hotel is they spend the much needed money for some renovations as it would be a good time since they do not have a ton of guest at the moment. They could section off certain floors of the hotel and start the renovations if possible. It is not a horrible stay just not to the level it was years ago."

"The location was splendid just above a shopping mall so it was very convenient. Room was super huge, but I would say cleanliness can be improved because there was an odd scent from the toilet so will need to leave the toilet door open. Aircon was also centralised so you cannot adjust temperature. But besides these, everything was great."

"First time being in Grand New Century Hotel. Started with warm welcoming at the front desk with Ms Wang(王翠); staffs here kind are helpful, certainly meet five star hotel standard .
Room are quite and clean with open view . Gym open from 06:30 till 22:00 . Good to have some exercise before bed .
Over all I had a great night here, would return for sure."

"We had an absolutely delightful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding — the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, which set the tone for the rest of the experience.
The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was luxurious, and the overall ambiance made it easy to relax and unwind. We especially appreciated the small touches, like the complimentary teas and neatly arranged toiletries.
The food was another highlight of our stay — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We still think about the pastries!
What stood out to me most was the décor throughout the hotel. Tasteful, elegant, and inviting, with a great attention to detail. Whether in the lobby, dining area, or hallways, everything was beautifully arranged and created a truly welcoming atmosphere.

"The front desk lady was very nice. The superior twin room I booked was upgraded to a deluxe twin room for free! Although the breakfast tasted average, the hotel staff were very nice, and the cleaning lady who passed by greeted us. I would stay here again next time."

"I came to Shanghai for work and had a baby with me. I was afraid that the baby would be bored, so I chose a lively place. I thought I could go out for a walk while doing errands. The location of the hotel, which is right next to the shopping mall, is absolutely perfect🤙
The hotel is in an office building. The beautiful woman at the front desk was very enthusiastic and gave me an extra set of dental kits and free breakfast. It was a surprise😍. The room was booked as a parent-child room, so it was very big, clean and tidy👍, and there was bath water. It's very big, the mattress is comfortable and big, especially my daughter is so happy to jump around
I don’t comment much on the breakfast because it is provided. If you have some requirements, I think you should not go there🤭. The milk is too sweet🌚There are no noodles and wontons🤦♂️The blueberry sauce and butter are melted and frozen🙄, look at my last one You can tell from the photo. I only had some porridge and cucumber fermented bean curd. I felt like I was eating like an elderly person🤭🤭"

__M1375821****This is my first time staying at Atour Hotel. I usually stay in star-rated hotels with my children. From check-in to check-out, the hotel provides guest-first service. I have to say that Atour's service is really good. Atour's breakfast is basically The products I selected are mostly eaten by guests of star-rated hotels. I personally feel that the breakfast is very cost-effective and the room is very clean. Overall, Atour left me with a very good accommodation environment.

Hotel location, service (although almost no english) and cleanliness was good.
But to my surprise it had a love hotel vibe. They even had these adult toys & condoms displayed inside our “family room” instead of a minibar, which I found little inappropriate for people with young kids. There are many shops and eats nearby, cab from the railway station was under 10 yuans.

Thank you to the boss lady for all your help, allowing us to see the majesty of the Qiantang River during the tidal surge time, and also helping us plan our itinerary

The facilities are relatively new. No wonder it is the hotel with the least negative reviews in the local area. It is not a wrong choice. Special reminder, the hotel will remind you of the high tide time every day, which is exactly when the tide passes through the local area

The surrounding transportation is convenient and traveling is super easy. Hh188188mThe hotel is right in the park. After booking the hotel on Ctrip, you will receive a call from the front desk to send us tickets for the scenic spot. If you drive yourself, you can only park in the parking lot, but you can contact the hotel at the entrance of the scenic spot and there will be a shuttle bus to pick you up. It is a very thoughtful service. The room faces the river bank, which is very convenient for watching the tide. It's a pity that the tide is not big enough in this season. Fortunately, the park is quiet and less crowded in the off-season. The only shortcoming is that the breakfast is a bit simple, but the noodles and dumplings cooked by the aunt are not bad.
