Hotels in Yanguan Tourist Resort, Haining

I'd been looking forward to my trip to Yanguan for ages, but I was hesitant about booking a hotel, worried that a bad choice would spoil my trip. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's excellent environment—clean and tidy. The staff were incredibly welcoming, clearly explaining the hotel and the time we would be watching the tidal bore. They even upgraded us to the hotel's top suite, which was a wonderful surprise. It was probably the hotel's good fortune that allowed us to witness the tidal bore even when we might not have seen it. All of this was thanks to the hotel's comfort and the good luck we had. I hope to stay here again next time and enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. Thank you so much!

The hotel is very close to the tide viewing park, and it is very convenient to get in and out. Our second stop for Chinese New Year was Yanguan, and choosing the Xuandemen Hotel was a brilliant decision! The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of the scenic area. The complimentary shuttle bus is available on demand, making it incredibly convenient to get around the scenic area and travel to and from the tide-watching spot. It saved us a lot of walking and made our travel experience perfect. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with both Chinese and Western options. Everything was fresh and delicious, with so many selections to satisfy different tastes. It was a great way to fuel up for a day of exploring. The overall ambiance was elegant and comfortable, making for a fantastic stay. There were so many activities planned for the New Year that we couldn't even get to all of them – we just went with the flow. The resort atmosphere was amazing, and the most unique part was the firsthand tide-watching experience, which was both stunning and unforgettable. The hotel even thoughtfully reminded us of the tidal bore times, which really enhanced the experience.

The B&B is right on the old street. It is very convenient to get to the B&B from the parking lot, and it is only a few steps away from the scenic spots. The interior decoration of the B&B is very stylish, the calligraphy and painting decorations are very charming, and the whole street has a refreshing and noble feeling that is not stained by the mud. The boss also has a lot of knowledge. He can give a eloquent introduction to the history of Yanguan Ancient Town and tide watching strategies. The fourth-grade students he received are also familiar with it. The service tips are also very attentive and helpful. We checked in from October 3rd to 5th. The old street in front of the hotel is the only night market area with old buildings. When we stepped out, we felt like we were transported back to the temple market in the 1990s. The atmosphere of fireworks in the street market is rich, but not flattering. Let’s talk about the travel experience of Eleven Scenic Areas! In addition to being expensive, tide watching parks are expensive. Not to mention the crowds, the tide after the 3rd is generally not considered a big tide. Fortunately, I didn't go to the Tide Park to watch the tide. The viewing platform charges an additional 80 yuan per person. The first wave of tide is just one wave, and it takes about three minutes to complete. I went to Liangjiadun in advance to watch the tidal wave. It was not too big and there were many people, but it was better than the Tide Watching Park, and it was free. As for the first line of tide in Yanguan, we did not pull down the tide. We could also see the tide at Xiaoputuo Temple when we met unexpectedly. It is really not recommended to check in during the Tide Watching Festival. Road closures everywhere and tolls are just for watching the crowds. Let’s talk about the century-old city. Apart from the Confucius Temple, not much is left of the Tanah Lot Temple. The value of the tour is only the white marble door plate outside the door. Only one ten thousandth of the courtyard building inside has been preserved. The furnishings are just like a temple. There is no trace of the life of a wealthy family. Other ancient city walls are under construction, and we don’t know when they will be completed. In order to watch the tide, you can check in in other months. As for looking for historical monuments, we have to wait and see how quickly the Yanguan government can repair them. Anyway, today’s Yanguan travel experience is not very advanced in terms of software and hardware.

The environment here is super comfortable and convenient. It’s just a short walk to the Qiantang River Tidal Bore Park. I booked a river-view room, and you can watch the tidal bore right from your room, which offers fantastic views! The cleanliness was top-notch, very tidy and spotless! The lobby manager, customer service, and staff were all incredibly warm, professional, and attentive! I also loved that there's a pool where you can swim. However, the ventilation was completely silent, and I was told it’s a silent exhaust system. Also, there were a lot of bugs flying around in the restaurant, which they attributed to the season.

There's a large dining table, so it's convenient for everyone to eat together. 3. The location is very close to the Yeomgwan Ancient City. It took about four minutes by taxi. 4. The staff are friendly and helpful. 5. The price is really affordable. In Korea, a new condo that can accommodate a family of four would cost at least three or four times as much. 6. It seems to be relatively unknown to Koreans, but I recommend it. The town where the hotel is located is so large that it can be difficult to find your way around at first, but it's fine once you get used to it.

The shop is easy to find along the street. The ”small courtyard” at the entrance, surrounded by flowers and plants, is very cozy. It's directly opposite the entrance to Guanchao Shengdi Park, offering free admission before 7:30 AM and after 5:30 PM. The proprietress and her family are very friendly and welcoming, and will inform you of any precautions. The interior of the room is reminiscent of an old-fashioned two-star hotel, but the sanitation is exceptional. The flowers and plants outside the window, along with the clothesline, create a homely and comfortable feeling. We stayed on the third floor, which doesn't have an elevator, but the proprietress offered to help us carry our suitcases upstairs, which was very much appreciated. I suggest the proprietress install a wind shield on the air conditioner, as it would otherwise blow directly onto the bed.

An unexpected surprise at Laichao Lezhi City! I brought my parents along, and luckily, we got upgraded to the Bruce Family Suite because of a room adjustment with the scenic area. It's a massive 127 square meters – super spacious and beautiful. The hotel lobby is also quite grand, and staying here gives you free access to an exclusive tide-watching spot. The Music House Museum on B1 is definitely worth a visit, and the restaurants here are also pretty good. It gets a bit noisy with kids during holidays, but the experience is excellent on weekdays.

Located outside the Chaole City scenic area, it's convenient to reach the popular tide-watching wall. Check-in and individual guest registration are all done at the visitor center, which is a bit noisy and slightly detracts from the overall experience. However, the service at the Shuishi Hotel was impeccable. The receptionist led me to my room, proactively helped with my luggage, and informed me about the scenic area's entry and exit points and tide-watching times. The bed linens had some stains, which were promptly replaced. Luggage check-in was also very convenient the next day. The room was new and clean, but the family room only had one footstool; I suggest adding more. Due to the large number of guests during the National Day holiday, the adjacent Chinese restaurant's lobby was open for breakfast. Room bookings included tickets to Chaole City and the Tide-Watching Park. There were also many dining options within the scenic area, making it a good choice. I'd like to try some of the other hotels in the scenic area next time.

Come to Yanguan for a business trip, this homestay has a beautiful environment, quiet community, the room is in the river view room on the 23rd floor, you can see the river view from the balcony of the room, the scenery is good! The bedding was clean and tidy, and I slept well all night. The proprietress was warmly received, the service was patient, recommended places and food around, recommended (＾ω＾) 👍🏻
