All day have coffee and tea ready for us.. They are not allowed to cook at room but with a microwave in the small area of dining room. This is good . Highly recommend this hotel and will visit again next time .Breakfast is perfect ."

"This was our 4th stay at this hotel. I have been on a ski trip 3 times and was here with friends once in Summer. It is a great place to be when you are visiting Grindelwald for skiing or summer. * First of all I would like to mention the owners Beni and Conny, are amazing people. Friendly and are able to help you out with all the advice about ski slopes and also hiking trails. If you want to head out into mountains, they are best people to get advice in the morning. You won't get this in big hotels. * There is a bus stop right next to the hotel. * It is only 10-15 minute walk to the town so nice to walk in the evening for dinner * Nice and quiet location far from crowded town centre * Great views from rooms towards Eiger Surely our go-to place every time we are in Grindelwald. TIP : 1. Make sure you book restaurants atleast one day in advance, everything gets busy in evening. 2. Get your ski passes right from hotel reception to avoid queues at the lifts 3. Avoid "Onkel Tom" Pizzeria unless you want to wait till death."

"The owner loves Japanese culture and has many Japanese friends. The store also provides Japanese tea. I highly recommend it to Japanese friends or friends who like Japan. You will probably have a lot to talk about with the owner. But this may be a bit strange to me, after all, I am a Nanjing native who is on vacation in Switzerland to experience Japanese culture. Facilities: The hotel is clean and quiet, but unfortunately there is no coffee machine. There is a parking space at the door, but unfortunately no one will help you with your luggage, which is a bit inconvenient when it snows. Service: The breakfast is very local and welcoming, and you can order extra meals."

"The hotel was far beyond our expectations. The hotel pictures on Ctrip really lowered the grade of this hotel. The hotel is invincible. Our room has a 180-degree balcony with an invincible view, the side of the balcony (Figure 1), the front of the balcony and the view from the restaurant (Figures 2-4). After all, it is such a noble place, and psychologically I am afraid that the waiters will be arrogant. As a result, the hotel staff provided invincible service. The child wanted to add a sofa bed, which was immediately made. The dinner added cheese for 15 Swiss francs, and the waiter introduced various cheeses to the child in detail (eat as you like). I rarely ate vegetables along the way, but I ordered a large plate of vegetables here, and they customized a grilled vegetable for us the next day. Various dishes are also delicious. Although the price of 4,500 per night is expensive, it is a bit more expensive for a family of three with a 12-year-old child, but this view and service are absolutely worth it."

The hotel lacks maintenance and could do with a renovation, but it's ok. The view from the breakfast room (which is very good) is fantastic. The staff is ok, but not very friendly."
