"The view of the snow-capped mountains was breathtaking. room was spacious and well-decorated, toilet and amenities were organised and clean. the hotel staff were very nice as well, they accommodated our request to use the hotel spa on the day after our checkout. Breakfast was of good quality with nice view from the window too. Would recommend!"

"This hostel boasts an unbeatable location, just a minute or two's walk from the Grindelwald Terminal, making transportation incredibly convenient. The natural scenery is absolutely stunning. You can gaze upon majestic snow-capped mountains and lush green slopes, a truly magnificent and healing view. The dining area also offers fantastic views, so you can enjoy a beautiful mountain panorama while having breakfast. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, making for a great dining experience. The overall facilities are new and well-maintained, and the amenities are comprehensive. The hostel has a good number of rooms. On my first day, I arrived quite late, and the staff left my room key in a locker by the entrance for self-check-in. It took me a bit of time to find my room initially. The bathrooms are communal and located outside the rooms, requiring a trip outdoors to use them. However, the communal areas are well-kept, and all facilities are fully equipped. Considering all factors, the value for money at this accommodation is excellent. If you're looking to deeply appreciate Grindelwald's natural beauty and want a great base for sightseeing and photography, this hostel is a perfect choice."

"Grindelwald Youth Hostel offers a clean, comfortable stay with amazing mountain views and very friendly staff. The shower had steady hot water, and the hostel is easy to reach by taking bus No. 122 from the main station. The room did not have a hairdryer, but one could be borrowed for a 10 EUR cash deposit, which was refunded at check-out. Although the hostel is a bit uphill and not the easiest to reach, the peaceful atmosphere and good value make it worthwhile."

Each guest received a complimentary welcome drink, which you could pick up at the bar. The hotel bar has floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the snow-capped mountains, making it incredibly enjoyable to sip a drink while gazing at the view. **Cleanliness:** The room was very clean. **Facilities:** The room's interior was primarily wooden, and the soundproofing was good. **Location:** The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the train station, passing a Coop supermarket along the way, making it very convenient for getting around."

"The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room. However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking. The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done. The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good. The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)"

"This hotel was very beautiful. The room was spacious and very clean. The view was so beautiful, waking up to the view of Eiger is really something else! One of our favorite things was definitely the spa and wellness area, especially the outdoor hot tub. There is just something special about being in warm water and it being very cold all around you. The steam from the hot water was really relaxing. The breakfast was really nice too but for CHF 35.- per person is a bit expensive in my opinion. Overall I can really recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Grindelwald.☺️"
