"The front desk staff were very warm and humorous. I checked out during the day and asked them to store my luggage. When I went back to pick it up in the evening to catch the last bus, I was in a hurry. They comforted me, saying there was still time, and gave me a bottle of water. They also wished me a pleasant journey. I was really touched. I wish the hotel would do better and better and the staff would be happy every day."

"This hostel boasts an unbeatable location, just a minute or two's walk from the Grindelwald Terminal, making transportation incredibly convenient. The natural scenery is absolutely stunning. You can gaze upon majestic snow-capped mountains and lush green slopes, a truly magnificent and healing view. The dining area also offers fantastic views, so you can enjoy a beautiful mountain panorama while having breakfast. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, making for a great dining experience. The overall facilities are new and well-maintained, and the amenities are comprehensive. The hostel has a good number of rooms. On my first day, I arrived quite late, and the staff left my room key in a locker by the entrance for self-check-in. It took me a bit of time to find my room initially. The bathrooms are communal and located outside the rooms, requiring a trip outdoors to use them. However, the communal areas are well-kept, and all facilities are fully equipped. Considering all factors, the value for money at this accommodation is excellent. If you're looking to deeply appreciate Grindelwald's natural beauty and want a great base for sightseeing and photography, this hostel is a perfect choice."

"Grindelwald Youth Hostel offers a clean, comfortable stay with amazing mountain views and very friendly staff. The shower had steady hot water, and the hostel is easy to reach by taking bus No. 122 from the main station. The room did not have a hairdryer, but one could be borrowed for a 10 EUR cash deposit, which was refunded at check-out. Although the hostel is a bit uphill and not the easiest to reach, the peaceful atmosphere and good value make it worthwhile."

"This hotel offers great value for money and is conveniently located. It's just a 2-minute walk from the train station, right behind and to the right once you exit, which saved us the hassle of dragging our luggage uphill. The balcony was huge! In the evening, we sat on the balcony, enjoying roasted chicken while admiring the 'Golden Mountain' effect and 'Dream Hills,' and later, we stargazed. I genuinely recommend it."

"Best stay in Grindelwald! Center of everything. Great view of Eiger in our room and breakfast. Super Perfect stay with Best POOL view! Bucket list stay in Switzerland. Price is quite expensive but super worth it. Get the Eiger View Rooms and Adore the Views! Best family Stay. The downside is the shower. Its still old school. So for PWD or Oldies pls beware you might fall."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations and was the most satisfying stay of my entire trip to Switzerland. **Service:** The hotel staff were very welcoming. Each guest received a complimentary welcome drink, which you could pick up at the bar. The hotel bar has floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the snow-capped mountains, making it incredibly enjoyable to sip a drink while gazing at the view. **Cleanliness:** The room was very clean. **Facilities:** The room's interior was primarily wooden, and the soundproofing was good. **Location:** The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the train station, passing a Coop supermarket along the way, making it very convenient for getting around."

"The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room. However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking. The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done. The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good. The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)"

"Right next to the train station, not a long walk, but the subway navigation was off, taking me on a long detour. I searched for a while before I found it. The hotel replied quickly to my email and sent a car to pick me up. The front desk service was excellent. It's very convenient for First and Jungfraujoch, and they can also help with booking tickets. A young man on the night shift enthusiastically suggested waiting until the next day to check the weather before booking tickets. The scenery is beautiful and the room is very spacious, but it was more expensive than the price I saw that day. Breakfast was great, very European. The scenery is beautiful."
