"Excellent value for money, especially for Switzerland! It's just a short walk from the train station and also very close to the First mountain ticket office. We had a room with a mountain view, which was also spacious and very clean. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room.
However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking.
The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done.
The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good.
The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet.
Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)"

Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is super convenient, right by the station, so no dragging luggage uphill! I stayed for four nights this time and had emailed ahead to request a high floor. I arrived at 12 PM that day, and luckily the room was ready, so I checked in right away. I was in room 324, which had a huge balcony facing the snowy mountains and the 'dream hill'. The hotel breakfast was decent too – orange juice, fruit, bread, etc. – not bad at all. For Switzerland, it's pretty much a 200 CHF per person breakfast.
AAnonymous UserBest stay in Grindelwald! Center of everything.
Great view of Eiger in our room and breakfast.
Super Perfect stay with Best POOL view!
Bucket list stay in Switzerland.
Price is quite expensive but super worth it.

Best family Stay. The downside is the shower. Its still old school. So for PWD or Oldies pls beware you might fall.
AAngelaYauThe hotel is uphill at the other end of grindelwald, not too close to Grindelwald station and Coop, fortunately the door is bus 121, 122, 123, but at first I saw Google map that it was a 15-minute walk from the train station only, but I knew it was quite hard to push luggage up the slope
Fortunately, it is close to Pfingstegg and First cable car stations, and Jungfrau must either take bus 121, 123 or train to Grindelwald Terminal station, change to the Eiger Cable car, or go to Grindelwald station and take the Train to Kleine Scheidegg
Although I live up to 4/F, the room has no air conditioning, so insects have entered the room🫨
But the scenery is beautiful, the room is big, the worst thing is no refrigerator, can only cook the noodles in the room
Breakfast itself thought there was very little food, but you can order hot drink and egg separately, which is quite good
Although seeing hotel restaurant dinner seems to be praised by many people, but too expensive, the cheapest is the 4-course menu d fine din, have to over CHF100
JJuninjuneThe location is about a 3-minute walk from Grindelwald Station. It is a bit uphill, so it might be a bit difficult to carry a carrier. Breakfast is provided and you can see Mt. Eiger. Each room has a different view, so it is important to get a room with a good view.
SShanshanbeitaJingmei, the service is very good, but the bed is too soft, and it is a big bed made of two single beds. It would be perfect if these two problems can be solved.
MMINT TITANThe family room is quite a good size for 2 adults and 2 teens. It is very cozy and clean. Our room is facing the front and temporary reception area and we can see the Alps clearly. There is a big pigeon hole style cabinet which we can use to place our stuff. The room is organised and not cramped due to this. Breakfast is good enough for us. There is a microwave oven in the Breakfast lounge where you can heat up food and a kettle (no kettle in the room). The only thing we don't like is the lack of door to the entrance of the shower area. Anyone entering the front door of the room, can see someone showering inside the shower area (if any). We had to remind each other to stay out of that area when we shower..
Ccute familyVery good location , walk only 3 mins from train station .
Though room is small, everything needed are there. The balcony is perfect facing the mountain view which we can have some drinks there. All day have coffee and tea ready for us.. They are not allowed to cook at room but with a microwave in the small area of dining room. This is good . Highly recommend this hotel and will visit again next time .Breakfast is perfect .
GGuest UserClose to the station and very convenient location.
Your husband is very kind and kind. The Eiger from the room is very powerful and you will never get tired of seeing it.
The bread for breakfast is very delicious.
QQIANThe hotel is halfway up the hill, some distance from the Grindelwald center and the train station. The hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be transported. We are self-driving. There is free parking in the hotel. It is relatively close to the cable car station of the first mountain. There are not many types of breakfast at the hotel. But it is enough, the biggest feature is the scenery, so beautiful! Whether it is a room or a place to have breakfast, look out for the snowy mountain, if you come to grindelwald next time, you will stay here!
CChaojifeixiakabudaThe room was beautiful and cozy, with lovely decor, and we could see the Eiger mountain right from our window. For Switzerland, this price offers excellent value for money. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of choices. The only thing to note is that the hotel is located on the mountaintop. It's best to take public transport up and down. If you miss the last bus at 6 PM, make sure to select the driving route on Google Maps to go up the mountain, as it's much better than walking. I wouldn't recommend walking if you're not in good physical shape.
