"We were traveling as a family and had specifically booked a family suite. This room was reserved more than a month in advance, and the price was quite high. However, we were very upset on the day of check-in, as the suite we were given was absolutely not the Executive View Suite I had booked. Although it was a suite, there was absolutely no view. After a long back-and-forth, with a lot of help from Trip.com customer service, we were moved to a different suite, but it still wasn't the room type I had originally booked. Since we were staying for two nights, we were moved to yet another suite on the second night, which finally matched the room type I had booked. The hotel itself is good and highly recommended. The location is excellent, and after all, it's a five-star luxury hotel. However, the front desk staff was unfriendly on the day of check-in, which led to a very poor check-in experience."

"The Schilthorn view room is great! The terrace faces the snow-capped mountains and dreamy slopes, so beautiful! The bathroom is also very large, and there is an open-air bath below. Although it is not big, it is still fun. I also gave you chocolates before leaving, thank you!"

Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day. The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making the stay truly enjoyable. breakfast was simply delicious! The array of options available was impressive, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. this hotel left a lasting impression on me. The well-designed interiors, the mesmerizing view (even through the rain), the exceptional service, and the mouthwatering breakfast made my stay truly remarkable. If you're looking for a hotel that combines elegance, comfort, and impeccable service, this is the place to be."

"It was a truly delightful stay. The room had a fantastic view, with a fantastic view of the hillside and snow-capped mountains in the distance. The First Mountain cable car station was about a 10-minute walk away. The front desk was very friendly, and the room was warm, clean, and tidy. The breakfast was also quite varied, and the bread and cheese were highly recommended! My mom even said the bread was the best we've had at any hotel in Europe. The price was also quite good compared to other similar hotels. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Grindelwald!"

"The hotel is very conveniently located and has a distinct youth hostel vibe. The service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was comprehensive. Free parking is available. However, there were a few downsides: The rooms are quite small, and our window directly overlooked a building under construction, so there was absolutely no view to speak of. For a better view and good food, I'd recommend trying the second floor of the restaurant located outside the hotel. Room amenities were basic: no slippers, the bathroom lacked a proper door, there was no fridge or safe, and no toothbrushes were provided. The toiletries were a 3-in-1 combo, so you'll definitely need to bring your own conditioner – fortunately, I had picked some up from my previous hotel. There's a train station right outside the hotel, but trains to popular destinations like Lauterbrunnen don't depart from here; I'm not sure where this particular station goes. On the bright side, it's very close to the Jungfraujoch cable car station, just a few hundred meters' walk away. The hotel has ample and spacious parking spots. The hotel's own restaurant only serves breakfast and is not open for lunch or dinner. Tip: If you're booking, try to secure a front-facing room with a balcony. These are slightly larger, and you can sit and enjoy the outside view. I don't recommend the side rooms without balconies, as they are very close to the construction site and can feel quite claustrophobic. The staff were very friendly and kindly provided free public transport cards and chocolates, which was a nice gesture. Laundry facilities are available, and detergent is provided. Both washing and drying each cost 5 CHF per cycle. The overall facilities are relatively basic. There's a drink machine on the ground floor, but it only sells Red Bull. The room floors are concrete, the ceilings are wood, and the rooms are quite low-ceilinged. My biggest dissatisfaction was the Wi-Fi. To connect to the hotel's 'free' Wi-Fi, authentication was required, asking for a Chinese mobile number. However, I couldn't receive the verification code. The other option was 'free time claim', but it demanded entering detailed credit card information. I found this utterly confusing and unacceptable. Having stayed in so many hotels, this was the first time I've encountered 'free' Wi-Fi that requires credit card details. Ultimately, I did not use it."

"The hotel's view was truly spectacular, but I was genuinely bewildered by the quality of the facilities here. The basic amenities fell far short of what you'd expect from a four-star hotel back home. The bathroom, in particular, was incredibly basic. Our deluxe king room only came with two small, thin blankets and no proper duvet, and we had to make do with these for four days. We were on our honeymoon... The bed was made of two single beds pushed together, constantly leaving an uncomfortable gap in the middle. Unless we repeatedly asked for it, there was no housekeeping service for consecutive nights. Breakfast was marred by an excessive number of flies, which I understand is a common issue in Switzerland. However, the view outside the window was absolutely stunning. I rarely write such detailed reviews, but I felt compelled to share my profound experience."

"It's really awesome experience for us on our honeymoon trip. View is superb, cold air, room is spacious and clean. its very near to the bus or train station.Breakfast is just the same selections on daily basis and not much of varieties, but there are alot of eateries around and Coop is just less than 5mins away. definitely will want to come back again for the Eiger views Gracias!"
