"The hotel is very conveniently located and has a distinct youth hostel vibe. The service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was comprehensive. Free parking is available. However, there were a few downsides: The rooms are quite small, and our window directly overlooked a building under construction, so there was absolutely no view to speak of. For a better view and good food, I'd recommend trying the second floor of the restaurant located outside the hotel. Room amenities were basic: no slippers, the bathroom lacked a proper door, there was no fridge or safe, and no toothbrushes were provided. The toiletries were a 3-in-1 combo, so you'll definitely need to bring your own conditioner – fortunately, I had picked some up from my previous hotel. There's a train station right outside the hotel, but trains to popular destinations like Lauterbrunnen don't depart from here; I'm not sure where this particular station goes. On the bright side, it's very close to the Jungfraujoch cable car station, just a few hundred meters' walk away. The hotel has ample and spacious parking spots. The hotel's own restaurant only serves breakfast and is not open for lunch or dinner. Tip: If you're booking, try to secure a front-facing room with a balcony. These are slightly larger, and you can sit and enjoy the outside view. I don't recommend the side rooms without balconies, as they are very close to the construction site and can feel quite claustrophobic. The staff were very friendly and kindly provided free public transport cards and chocolates, which was a nice gesture. Laundry facilities are available, and detergent is provided. Both washing and drying each cost 5 CHF per cycle. The overall facilities are relatively basic. There's a drink machine on the ground floor, but it only sells Red Bull. The room floors are concrete, the ceilings are wood, and the rooms are quite low-ceilinged. My biggest dissatisfaction was the Wi-Fi. To connect to the hotel's 'free' Wi-Fi, authentication was required, asking for a Chinese mobile number. However, I couldn't receive the verification code. The other option was 'free time claim', but it demanded entering detailed credit card information. I found this utterly confusing and unacceptable. Having stayed in so many hotels, this was the first time I've encountered 'free' Wi-Fi that requires credit card details. Ultimately, I did not use it."

Location - Get off at the station and walk up the hill for about 7 minutes (COOP is next to the station). - It's quite a challenge to climb with a suitcase, but they offer pick-up service, so if you have a lot of luggage, request it in advance. - All Grindelwald accommodations are well-signposted, making them easy to find. - The climb is challenging, but the views are truly top-notch. 2. Facilities - The rooms are very spacious and feature balconies. - The view from the balcony is incredible. - The bathrooms have good water flow and showers, making them comfortable. - There's no air conditioning, but it's not too hot outside of the middle of the day, so it's not a major issue. - There's a washer/dryer available for 5 francs per hour (powder detergent is provided). → Washing is done on the express cycle. The dryer isn't very powerful, so I recommend running it on the basic cycle and then air-drying the rest of the time (drying racks are available for rent). 3. Breakfast - A wide variety of cheeses and hams, as well as plenty of fruit. - However, mealtime starts at 7:30 AM, so it's best to leave early during peak season. I didn't eat breakfast very often. 4. Other - The owner and staff were very friendly. - If you hike down from First and head towards the station, you can get right down to the hotel. - The internet was also very good."

"Accommodation is very nice, everything clean, high quality. Everything available. The guests have their absolute peace. very nice, we've been to Scwendihus several times and it's very nice!"

"The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are very patient to answer all our questions and assist us to book the ticket to the Jungfraujoch. Breakfast was nice. We have our dinner at their restaurant as well. The food was great, we were very much enjoy it. I love the onion soup. Of course, the waitress also very nice. Our room have the balcony, we have a nice Eiger view with just in front of us. Super!"

"The hotel has an excellent location, just an 8-minute walk from Grindelwald Station. Go down the mountain and walk for 15 minutes to the Terminal. After that, you can take the crane up to the Jungfrau Peak and start your climbing journey. Or you can leave the station and stay on the mountainside and walk for 15 minutes to take the crane up to First Mountain. This time I stayed in a triple room (with an elderly person traveling with me). The interior space was acceptable and not too cramped. There are many windows, so open the curtains and enjoy the beautiful scenery! Awesome! ! ! Breakfast is served from 0700 to 1000. There are not many varieties, but there is white rice and fried rice (extra points!) There are basic facilities in the room, including a hairdryer and no hot water boiler, but the electricity is low and the lights are dim. Completely experience the style of staying in a cabin in the Swiss mountains. Staff service is ok, could be more welcoming 😬 All in all, I had a good stay this time! My personality was ok! Recommended to everyone!"

"The hotel is uphill at the other end of grindelwald, not too close to Grindelwald station and Coop, fortunately the door is bus 121, 122, 123, but at first I saw Google map that it was a 15-minute walk from the train station only, but I knew it was quite hard to push luggage up the slope  Fortunately, it is close to Pfingstegg and First cable car stations, and Jungfrau must either take bus 121, 123 or train to Grindelwald Terminal station, change to the Eiger Cable car, or go to Grindelwald station and take the Train to Kleine Scheidegg Although I live up to 4/F, the room has no air conditioning, so insects have entered the room🫨 But the scenery is beautiful, the room is big, the worst thing is no refrigerator, can only cook the noodles in the room Breakfast itself thought there was very little food, but you can order hot drink and egg separately, which is quite good Although seeing hotel restaurant dinner seems to be praised by many people, but too expensive, the cheapest is the 4-course menu d fine din, have to over CHF100"

"Located quite far uphill and far from train station, you will rely on bus 122 to reach / leave the hostel, which only operates until around 6pm. The view from the hostel is not bad, with quite a large outdoor area. The building itself is an old wooden structure and it is very easy to hear the noise from other rooms.
