"Smart hotel in a good location for exploring historical Gouda. Well-equipped and comfortable room - with kettles available (although not in the room as standard). Nice high pressure shower, good aircon, nice, quiet room. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked really nice. There was lots of rather strange, slightly unnerving artwork of people eating cheese... The artwork looked AI generated and overall felt cheap and at odds with the rest of the hotel's design.
The hotel made a show about being eco and 'environmental', however the bathroom cups were wrapped in plastic - this is completely needless (no one ever wraps the coffee cups in plastic!).
Worryingly, on check-in the receptionist insisted that I hadn't paid in advance and made me pay on the spot. When I later checked this I found that, as I thought, I HAD indeed paid in advance. To be fair, when I showed her evidence on my phone she immediately initiated a refund, but really - how can that be allowed to happen?? Surely it should all be on the hotel's system. If I hadn't spotted the mistake I would have paid twice. Not impressed!"

"I couldn't sleep all night through the noise of the cars in the highway.
Every day cleaners come to your room but the dirty towels are not replaced! Very bad kiss you don't feel good at all during sleep!
The expectation is behind the desk and there you can only feel warm,
No coffee machine in the room and the water cooker was very dirty!
Nice restaurant but for someone who is vegetarian is not made a lot of choice!
Some staff were lovely but also someone is at the reception that gives you unwelcome feelings!"

"After check-in up to our was the cleaners were still cleaning the rooms found a stick on the way waste bags food cups etc were standing everywhere.
Cleaning staff are running in casual clothes/pyama. Talking at the phone. No good morning afternoon.
The room I booked was quite spacious with a large bathroom.
The clothing box was in a layer of dust, which was not cleaned for a while, and they had a small refrigerator in the room, which was not cleaned for an uncle, all the sticks of food waste, and I wanted to use it, so I was cleaned with clothes.
Beddegoed was made clean svhounn bed also clean
The bathroom was OK, it was spacious. With shower, bathroom and 2 wc. There were layers of towels I didn't use there were 2 with spots in not very hygienic. Shower head is really on replacement or at least a good scrobber."

"Very satisfied, the hotel is very suitable for traveling by car. We rented a car and drove the car to the other side of the children's windmill the next day. Originally, the room rate did not include breakfast, but I didn’t know how to give us two breakfasts, which were also very delicious. Although the hotel facilities are old, but the sanitation is excellent, the surrounding environment is also very good"
