"Was brilliant I had by accident booked a room with no window.I needed to change it because my girlfriend was claustrophobic they changed it when I got there and the room was perfect.i will definitely be coming here again also the breakfast good choices"

"I regret that I didn't stay for two nights at the hotel. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for exploring the area. While the hotel does have a slightly old appearance and the sound insulation could be better, I appreciated the fact that there is an elevator, which adds to the overall convenience of the stay.15 -20 min away from seven sister"

"Everything I needed for an easy and comfortable stopover for work. Friendly welcome, comfy bed, clean room, decent shower for a very reasonable price. Location wasn’t particularly important as I arrived late and left early, but the Majestic is right on the seafront, perfectly placed for the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel bar looked nice but it was just a bed for the night on this occasion. Would certainly stay again. Thanks to staff."

"Thank you for a lovely stay the location of the hotel was great for us. Being close to the start of the beachyhead race and then the beach and the pier was exactly what we needed. The parking permits were helpful to and we had no trouble with this. I would say having booked the deluxe room it was all great size for what we needed, the room could do with somewhere to hang some coats ot clothing, a mirror in the room itself would also be a great touch. A few downsides were the curtains didn't fit the windows probably and the room was very hot even with the heating down and the radiator off. All in all a great stay and we would come again, the staff were very helpful"

"Lovely hotel in a great location, very near the bandstand and town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We always had a night cap in the bar before bed which was great. We also got a room upgrade to one with a partial sea view which was very nice to have. Parking was easy. You get given vouchers which we paid about £2 each per day for, and you can park on the surrounding streets. We were lucky and got just outside the hotel by the seafront. If in summer, you may want to get there in the evening when day trippers will have gone home. There's also the ncp car park near by if necessary. Bed was very comfy and bedroom was a good size with tea and coffee facilities. We didn't have any meals there so I can't comment on that. (I did notice on the menu that the vegan cooked breakfast consisted of vegetables but no meat substitute, which I thought was a bit poor for the price.) I'd certainly stay at this hotel again."

"hotel is in a fabulous position for the most amazing vista day and night! TOP TIP Book a front room with sea view you will not be disappointed!!!  Excellent hotel with the most amazing views and hotel staff.  Everything was clean and tidy and house cleaning was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and very good.  The only problem we have is that the hotel allows dogs - not normally a problem but  we saw several of them sitting on the guest lounge chairs of an evening which I’m not a fan of but would not put me off coming back it was just that I believe that this should not be allowed or encouraged."

"Great hotel but not the best in the town as it is small, about outdated and the view isn't the best in the world. The shower was very poor and weak but the bathroom looked nice and was up to date but not the biggest. The hotel had a different feel about it and the staff member was great."

"Amazing location right by the beach so some rooms would be overlooking the promenade and coast. The rooms are tired and decoration needs to be updated although the reception areas look good. The beds and pillows were VERY comfy! Better than some travelodge, so a good night sleep. So if you can look past the poor paint, the £37 a night twin room will be a bargain. I would return at this price, but not more expensive. Its not the usual high quality or standard that I expected from Best Western chain. More a budget option. £7 is for a continental breakfast so this was declined. Tea and coffee in room was good. Late arrival but checking in was swift and very helpful. Free but limited overnight parking outside but you have to get a ticket (the hotel can do this for you for £2.25) from 8am so if you want a lie in, you need to book and pay when you check in."

"The room is large, clean and comfortable. The front desk was very helpful and helped me check in early. They also told me the bus route to Seven Sister Cliff in detail. It is very close to the hotel and there is a bus at the door. There is a big beach in front of the hotel, which the children like very much."
