AAnonymous UserThis stay was very satisfying! The hotel is in a prime location with convenient transportation and travel. The front desk guy was warm and efficient, and the check-in and check-out procedures were quick. The room was spacious and bright, the hygiene was very good, the bedding was comfortable and soft, and the sound insulation was good. Even near the ancient town, I slept very well at night. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water and complete toiletries. Overall, the price-performance ratio is very high, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, and I will choose here again on my next trip! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI passed by Mangshi and stayed for two days. There are not many youth hostels in Mangshi. I searched on the platform and found this one. It is a new one. The public space of this youth hostel is also large and very clean. The owner is also a tidy person. He often cleans and tidies up when he comes in to change his shoes. The bed configuration in the room is relatively high for a youth hostel. The lighting is very warm and the curtains are very tight. It is also equipped with a storage rack, which is very convenient for small items such as mobile phones and water. The public bathroom is also very clean, but the shower curtain is too small, and it is easy to stick to your body if you are not able to move around. I was in a hurry and forgot to take pictures.

The design style is very unique, the service attitude is also great, the luggage is transported, there is water and ice cream downstairs, the breakfast is also rich, and there is laundry service. The overall quality is absolutely first-class, you can rest assured to stay there, the swimming pool upstairs is very clean, you must go to cool down in the evening, you can see the Golden Pagoda and the Silver Pagoda upstairs, and it's perfect with some beer and ice cubes. It's convenient to go out and you can rent an electric car 🛵, it's very convenient to go anywhere, ride a few minutes later to have delicious barbecue, and come back to drink fresh watermelon juice, there is a small courtyard, a sand pool (with toys for children) and a bar downstairs, it's very charming, everyone must come when you go to Mangshi! It's really worth it!

JJMJMJMJMMy stay at the hotel was pleasant overall, and I appreciated the courteous service from the Level 3 staff at the hot spring facility. Following my initial feedback about an employee interaction, the hotel management promptly contacted me to address the matter.
After investigation, they clarified that the staff member belonged to the accounting department (not guest services) and wasn't required to assist guests, though her uniform resembled front desk attire. I suggested differentiating uniforms for non-service staff to avoid future misunderstandings, which the hotel acknowledged.
I'm very satisfied with their proactive response and commitment to improving guest experiences.

SSergioValenteOverall decent stay. This is a famous low-cost hotel chain, so shouldn't expect too much form it. Not very clean, hairdryer not great, bed quite hard.
The good parts:
Location is not bad, walking distance to a famous beef ball restaurant, some street-food markets, and Mengbanaxi Wonders Garden. For going to the pagodas recommend taking a e-bike, as there is a lot of traffic in that area..
We arrived a bit early, and would use the bathroom, wash up, and store our luggage
The front desk lady was so nice and kind, we weren't sure how to go to our next destination, she went to the bus station for us to ask how can take the bus as a foreigner,also asked some taxi drivers for us to get a price, and when we left, she prepared for us a small gift bag with some local dessert, and coffee from Myanmar 😊.
The bad parts:
So freaking noisy! Walls are thin so you can hear everything from your neighbors. Also the cleaning ladies are so loud in the morning, talking to each other, this happens in all lower cost hotels in China.

The location is super superior, eating, shopping, entertainment around, travel is also particularly convenient.
The room was spacious, bright and clean, and the layout was very warm. The bed was super soft, I had a good night's sleep, and I felt tired. The bathroom is also very clean.
The hotel's service is not to say, the staff is warm and thoughtful, check-in and check-out are very fast. If you have any problems, you can solve them quickly and give suggestions intimately. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good, starting a full day.
This stay experience is excellent, the price is super high, next time you come here, I will choose this one!

GGuest UserThis wonderful little hostel is run out of a local family's home. The owner, Shiqi is a passionate traveler herself and loves to show visitors around her city. She personally took me to several interesting areas and hole in the wall restaurants to try local specialties, and helped me with every part of my trip from planning day trips to buying bus tickets.
The hostel is centrally located. The bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms are extremely clean and well equipped - toiletries, mosquito repellent, earplugs are all available for free. The roof is accessible and has a beautiful view of the city. Shiqi and her family grow tomatoes and tropical fruits up there and were very happy to share!
I had a great time in Ruili thanks to Shiqi and her family's hospitality and kindness. Making dumplings on the roof with her and other travelers is one of my favorite memories of traveling in China. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the area, particularly solo travelers - you will come away with a great impression of Ruili and new friends.
