Best Chiang Mai Hotels

"I stayed at Travelodge Nimman during my recent trip to Chiang Mai and had a very enjoyable time overall. The first thing I noticed was the excellent location of the hotel. It’s within walking distance to Nimmanhaemin Road, where there are countless cafés, restaurants, and shops, yet it’s tucked just enough away from the busiest part to feel a bit calmer. Getting to and from the airport was very convenient, taking only about 20 minutes by car. For me, this balance between accessibility and comfort was one of the highlights of my stay, as it made exploring the city so much easier without feeling too far from the action. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. My room was spacious enough, with comfortable bedding, good air conditioning, and all the essentials I needed, including a fridge, toiletries, and reliable Wi-Fi. The housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything tidy throughout my stay, and I always came back to a neat, refreshed room. I also enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool, which had a lovely view and felt like a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The fitness center, while not very large, had just enough equipment for a quick workout, which I appreciated. The staff at Travelodge Nimman were friendly and helpful whenever I needed assistance. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and the overall service left a good impression on me. The breakfast offered by the hotel was decent, though I felt it could be improved in terms of variety and taste. Some mornings, food items seemed to run low if you came later, so it’s better to head down early. It wasn’t bad, but compared to the other great food available around Chiang Mai, it felt average. One thing worth mentioning is that the location can be a bit noisy depending on which room you get. Since the hotel is not too far from the airport, you can occasionally hear airplanes, and there was also some construction noise during my stay. It didn’t completely ruin the experience, but if you’re sensitive to sound, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room. Also, while the amenities like the pool and gym are nice, they are on the smaller side, so they might feel limited if you’re expecting something more extensive. Overall, I would say Travelodge Nimman is a solid choice for anyone wanting a modern, comfortable stay in a great location in Chiang Mai. It isn’t perfect, but the positives definitely outweighed the negatives for me. The combination of good service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location made my trip much smoother and more enjoyable. I would happily consider staying here again on my next visit, especially if I could secure a quieter room with a nice view."

"The hotel was very clean but there was a strong smell of some chemicals from the renovation or newly built building. The staff had good English and super friendly and helpful. Buffer breakfast would be a better choice with the price included in the deal. The good thing is they have an air purifier in the rooms and good air conditioning. We found the fridge switched off when you leave the room , so need to be mindful of what you leaving in the fridge. Overall, very hygienic, organised , comfortable bed and good sleep in the quiet corner. They had washing machine and dryer as well. 80 baht for the dryer was bit expensive for small amounts of clothes. But did the job very well. Final recommendation would be if there was a gym and swimming pool , I would definitely return there again. Not forgetting Buggy ride to festival mall was a bonus to the trip. And if they had whats app for easy communication that would be very handy to overseas clients…."

"Duangtawan Hotel knows what guest likes. Building has good architecture. Deluxe rooms have good layout and most importantly very good facilities, clean, quiet and very comfortable that ensures a pleasant visit to Chiang Mai. All staffs are very good with recognition given to my check-in staff and breakfast Tawan Restaurant waitress Ms Kung. Breakfast is buffet from 6-10:30am with quality food with a big spread in a huge restaurant. Hotel is located in the center of night bazaar area with a 7-11 just opposite. 1 bad point is the weak wifi in my room that is very slow sometimes. My attached photos show a thousand words."

"This was my first visit to Chiang Mai, and I chose to stay at the Holiday Garden Hotel Chiang Mai. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a truly beautiful environment. It was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Chiang Mai. Plus, with Maya Shopping Center conveniently located nearby, shopping was super easy."

"The front desk service was absolutely terrible from the moment I checked in. The staff seemed completely unprofessional; even with guests waiting, one was busy taking selfies. The check-out experience was no better. I came down early, allowing extra time for the room inspection, but found no one at the front desk for about 15 minutes. Eventually, a staff member appeared, stating they had just returned from getting food (via Grab). They showed no urgency whatsoever in assisting me and then said it would be another 5 minutes for the room check. In total, checking out that day took a frustrating half an hour."

"The accommodation is very spacious, with a well-divided layout between the bedroom and living room. The bathroom is also large and includes a bathtub. There is ample parking space for multiple cars. Other facilities, such as the swimming pool, are generously sized, and there’s also a fitness center. The place is clean, and just a short drive away, you’ll find Central Festival. The room rates are very affordable, making this a highly recommended place to stay. It feels like living in a condo, with beautiful decor and a serene atmosphere."

"The staffs was nice and we got cleaning service everyday. The emplacement is nice too, it's right outside the old town and there is a night market right next to the hotel, really convenient."

"The room is very nice. Towel are very clean and white! I feel fresh and love using it. One feedback about breakfast . I stayed 6 days each time I book MOOSE HOTEL. Each morning, I eat the same food . It will be good if The menu changes everyday."
