Ivy City Hotel was very clean. Its right on a busy main road, but it is easily assessable, if that makes any sense. The room smelled like **** (its legal), but was easily covered up by a lit candle. It easy very calm all throughout the day/night , especially for DC and the characters that come and go. All in all, its a good place to lay your head when you stay.

This hotel seems to be in the black area, and the staff and guests are mostly black and Mexican. The surrounding area is also black. The room has a refrigerator and no microwave. The bed was not very comfortable, the sanitation was normal and the facilities were old. American breakfast, generally, less food. Can not be an extra bed, the room is not big.
