"I traveled to participate in the triathlon and stayed at a hotel that was ideally located next to the lake. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. However, my experience with the restaurant staff was frustrating. On the first day, I arrived for lunch and was refused service because they claimed it was "too late"—yet they proceeded to seat and serve other customers who arrived after me. The following morning at breakfast, the staff approached me multiple times to remind me of the 10 AM cutoff, even though they didn’t give the same reminders to other guests. I’m unsure whether this was due to me being a Westerner or because my Mandarin isn’t fluent, but both dining experiences left me feeling singled out and disappointed."

"I originally booked the hotel next door, but then realized this one was much more spacious and better. After checking in, I noticed the room was a bit dusty, so I reported it to the hotel. Their service was absolutely fantastic! They immediately brought an air purifier to clear the dust and even sent up some fruit. All in all, the service is superb, the hotel is very new, and the breakfast is excellent. It's definitely worth a stay, and if I visit Changshu again, I'll choose this hotel. There are also quite a few places to explore nearby."

"The following is a positive review of Changshu Jianguo Platinum Hotel: This time I stayed at Changshu Jianguo Platinum Hotel, and the experience was beyond my expectations. I must share it with you. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was amazed by its grand and elegant decoration style. The lobby was magnificent, and the orchid petals decorated on the marble floor reflected the ripples, like a lively painting. The background wall of the front desk was made up of more than 1,000 tiles, presenting a reed heron wetland painting with the characteristics of Shajiabang, as if telling the historical story here. The design of the guest room is even more ingenious, with a scroll-like background wall, light golden palace lanterns and a simple ceremonial door design, which is full of oriental Zen. The graphite green embellishment is elegant and simple, which makes people relax physically and mentally, as if they are in the poetic Jiangnan. The bedding is soft and comfortable. It feels like being wrapped in clouds when you lie on it, and you can sleep well all night. The service of the hotel is also first-class. From the front desk to the room service, every staff member is warm and thoughtful, smiling, making people feel at home. Celina also carefully prepared the room layout for me, showing her attentiveness in every detail, and helped to deliver the luggage to the room, which is really considerate. The catering is also full of highlights. The buffet restaurant has a rich variety of food, and every dish is delicious, mouth-watering and memorable, especially their Peking duck and Changshu hairy crab, which is a feast on the tip of the tongue. The hotel's supporting facilities are also very complete, with a gym, yoga room, tea room, etc. Whether you want to relax or exercise, you can find a suitable place here. And the hotel is close to the Shajiabang scenic spot, which is very convenient for playing. In short, Changshu Jianguo Platinum Hotel is impeccable in terms of architectural style, room facilities, service quality and catering. I strongly recommend it to everyone. I will definitely come again next time if I have the opportunity."

The sunset was absolutely breathtaking – watching the sky change from golden to pink and purple from the terrace with my loved one by my side made me feel like life was incredibly beautiful in that moment. The room was so clean I could walk around barefoot, and the bedding was super comfortable, letting me sleep soundly until I naturally woke up. Next time I'm in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to choose this place again."

"This is a really welcoming luxury hotel. We arrived late at night, and the shuttle driver took us directly to our room and even told us about the complimentary late-night sweet soup. The room itself was huge, with a self-flushing smart toilet, a tatami room, a small garden, and a private hot spring tub. The air conditioning was powerful and quickly made the room warm. The Shajiabang scenic area was surprisingly good, with both an old town area and a peaceful wetland section. We went in mid-April, and the wetland area was wonderfully uncrowded. Oh my goodness, the air was amazing, and there were so many birds! The complimentary hand-rowed boat experience was also fantastic. I really love this hotel and will definitely visit again."

"The photos of Internet celebrities are all photoshopped, and the actual white walls have faded. It is a place for wedding banquets. The experience is extremely poor and there is basically no service at all. If you need anything, you have to go to the front desk and ask yourself. Sound insulation is weak. Checked out after 8 o'clock in the morning and the front desk was not at work yet, so casual. 400 a night without breakfast, not worth the price. Will not be returning."

The seat is awesome, at the foot of Lushan Mountain, 3km away from Shanghu Scenic Area, so it is called Shanhu Yard. It is about 3km from Yanyuan in the center of Changshu. Good security, closed yard, spacious underground parking. The holiday business is very good. I asked the housekeeper. There are 98 rooms in total. There are nearly 30 permanent residents. All others are open for living. The festival is full and the price is beautiful. The room is nearly 40 square meters, similar to the 3-star level. A central garden, there are many aging supporting facilities. There is a canteen inside, 3 meals can be solved inside, the price is super high!"
