Hotels in Changshu Downtown Area, Changshu

Decided on a whim to stay here, and I always have faith in the Atour brand. This hotel has an excellent location, and the front desk staff, Xiao Yu, provided great, patient service. It's super convenient for going out to eat and explore. Yu Mountain, Fangta Park, and Yanyuan Garden are all within walking distance. The kids absolutely loved reading and doing homework in the bamboo-themed lobby lounge. The room was cozy, meticulously cleaned, and offered a fantastic rest, really helping to shake off travel fatigue.

My stay at Hilton Changshu Longteng was absolutely fantastic, and I have to give a special shout-out to Guest Relations Executive Cynthia! The hotel is built by Qin Lake, and its cruise ship-like appearance is very photogenic. The lake view rooms offer expansive views, are tidy and smart, and come with complete facilities. The breakfast on the 11th floor offers a rich variety, and the Suzhou-style noodle toppings taste authentic. Overall, the hardware fully meets high-end hotel standards. When I checked in, I needed to adjust my check-out date, and my English wasn't very fluent during the communication. Cynthia patiently listened throughout, slowed down her speech, and meticulously explained the change process to me, showing no impatience at all. When I encountered difficulties with an online order modification, she proactively guided me through the steps, thoughtfully resolving my problem. She was professional and enthusiastic in her work, always considering things from the guest's perspective, and was extremely responsible. This stay was exceptionally comfortable because of her thoughtful service. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Changshu, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The price was reasonable, the room was spacious, and it was well-equipped. However, there were no slippers for the shower, but luckily I brought my own. The bathroom lighting was dim, not ideal for ladies who wear makeup. The toilet flush wasn't very strong, but it was okay. They replenished bottled water on the second day after my two-night stay, and emptied the trash can, so they seemed to do a simple cleaning. The bed was clean, but the downside was that I suspect someone had smoked in it before; the mattress, pillows, and blankets were all tainted with the smell. Although the room wasn't big, you could still smell it while lying down. Maybe I'm just sensitive, but my friend couldn't smell it at all. Changshu's attractions are relatively concentrated, and the hotel's location is excellent; you can basically reach any of the places you want to go by bike. It wasn't crowded during the May Day holiday, making it a very pleasant little city.

I booked two rooms for two nights, each including breakfast and a meal at the cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style cafe) daily. The hotel is conveniently located; you can take a bus directly from the high-speed rail station, which takes about 20 minutes, and it's just a short walk from the bus stop. I informed them in advance that it was my sister's birthday, so one of the rooms was decorated and came with a fruit platter, which made my sister very happy. Last night, we received complimentary mung bean soup and a fan, but it seems there was nothing tonight. The swimming pool is outsourced, so even non-guests with a membership can use it. However, the smoke smell was far too strong. I ended up opening a few windows and staying for only half an hour before leaving because I couldn't stand the secondhand smoke. There were also people smoking in the hallways and elevators; a strong smell of smoke hit you as soon as you entered. I hope the hotel can implement stricter controls regarding this. The service, however, was excellent. The rooms provided small bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and lotion. Since we were hiking and swimming, we showered two or three times a day, and with long hair, we used a lot. I called several times for refills, and they were always promptly delivered.

The room was great. The bedside table had a wireless phone charger, the gym had relatively extensive facilities, and the laundry room had a washing machine that automatically added detergent, and the dryer was also very powerful. The breakfast was good! The downside was that the room was a bit cramped.

Even though the weather was uncooperative, with endless rain dampening our spirits a bit, the service at Elegant QinChuan Residence still made me feel right at home. From a warm cup of tea upon arrival to a friendly greeting when leaving, and even quick solutions for minor issues, everyone at the hotel tried their best to help. A special shout-out to Dong Lamei at the front desk – not only did she upgrade our room and send welcome fruit for me and my child, but she also thoughtfully prepared contingency plans for a temporary power outage due to line maintenance, anticipating potential inconvenience for guests.

Due to my work, I spend most of my time with business trips in the city language. For this reason, I stay in hotels. The hotel I am staying in now will be a hotel that I will not forget among the hotels I have stayed in before! Because it is such a big room at this price, that is, 30-35 and 52m2 in size and clean and beautiful. I will be in the wolf again on my next trip to this city. Our room was spacious in this refined and elegant hotel. The location is so convenient - Incity shopping centre just across thr bridge. Service is always impeccable. polite, friendly and helpful.

1. **Parking:** The hotel🏨 boasts a good location with convenient transportation. While there are generally no parking spaces directly in front of the hotel, the underground parking lot is clearly marked, spacious, and easy to use, with direct elevator access. 2. **Hotel Facilities:** The hotel facilities are excellent, newly renovated, and the rooms are clean and tidy with no unnecessary clutter. The pillow selection includes a soft, high pillow and a low silicone pillow, but neither was particularly comfortable. 3. **Service:** On check-in day, a very young woman handled the process. She had no service attitude, maintaining a stern face. As we approached the front desk from the elevator, she didn't even greet us. It felt like she might have been a relative filling in, lacking any professional service spirit, not even a smile. However, the next day, a slightly older man handled our check-out with a very warm and proactive service attitude, which was a huge plus. 4. **Key Issue (Deduction):** A major drawback is the KTV-like restaurant next door on the first floor. Oh my goodness, the thumping DJ music at night was incredibly loud! From 9 PM, when I was trying to sleep, it was constant thumping until 1:40 AM. It was impossible to sleep. I called the front desk, and they offered earplugs, but no real solution. To the owner, if you read this review, you really need to find a way to address this issue. No matter how good the hotel's soft services are, the core purpose of a hotel is for guests to ”sleep.” The noise from that restaurant seriously impacts your hotel's rating. This level of noise should be illegal and could probably even warrant calling the police. Honestly, all the negative feedback is due to this noise! What was otherwise a very satisfactory stay ended up being marred by this unbearable noise.

Facilities: OK, the hotel has everything it should have for this price. It's average, although it's a bit old, but it's well maintained. Hygiene: It's clean. I'm particularly impressed by the super high water pressure. I've never stayed in a hotel with higher water pressure than this one. You must control the direction of the shower head when you hold it in your hand, otherwise it will happily rush out. Environment: Great, very satisfied with this. It's located in the downtown area, close to Fangta Garden, Zhaoyuan Zengyuan, and Confucian Temple, especially Fangta Garden, which you can walk to. In addition, there are Yaohan, Qinhu, and Impression City nearby, which are very convenient for eating, drinking and shopping. Yaohan is a place where you can take a walk at night. Service: Good, timely response to requests, and positive and enthusiastic attitude. In short, if you want to visit the attractions in the city, it is highly recommended to stay here.
