Find 5-Star Hotels in Changshu

This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Changshu. I was upgraded to a river view room, and waking up to a beautiful sunrise really lifted my spirits. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly. I asked for directions to the river, and one of them shared her morning running route with me, which was super easy to follow. Once I reached the confluence of the Grand Canal and the Yangtze River, I felt the immense power of the world. Seeing people meditating there really highlighted what a great spot it is for absorbing the energy of heaven and earth, and experiencing the world's tranquility. Walking back from that river junction, I immediately felt like I was right back in Changshu!

This is my second time staying at this hotel in Changshu, and the service is still exceptionally good. Upon check-in, I received fruit, and in the evening, there were snacks and milk. Breakfast is served at the Novotel next door. Overall, it's pretty good, with both Chinese dim sum and Western breakfast options.

The hotel's exterior environment is very good, and the rooms are generally nice, with clean bath towels. The fitness facilities at the partner venue are quite comprehensive. I rarely write negative reviews, but the service during this stay definitely needs improvement. The hotel can verify all my statements with surveillance footage. I checked in around 7 PM and asked the front desk if there was a gym and how to get there. They told me there was a skywalk on the third floor. I changed into my workout clothes and went there around 7:50 PM, but my key card didn't work. I went back to the front desk, and they said all the new cards they just got were faulty and wouldn't work. So, why did they give me a non-working card when they knew I was going to the gym? I finished my workout around 8:58 PM and shivered my way back to my room through the cold wind on the third floor (it was the rooftop, not the skywalk). Then, both of my key cards wouldn't open the door. I had to go back to the front desk again to get new cards. I hope they can improve their service in the future.
