Upon arrival, the experience began on a positive note—check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The resort itself has an elegant, modern design and initially gave off the impression of a true luxury getaway. We paid USD 8382 (plus 600 for extra bed) for 6 nights. However, things quickly took a turn once we entered our room. The lighting control panel was partially broken—only one of the three panels worked. Several lights didn’t function at all, and a power socket panel was damaged. While the rest of the room looked clean and comfortable, these maintenance issues were disappointing for a resort of this caliber. The following morning, we encountered more problems. Our key card suddenly stopped working after breakfast. We were told this might be because it had been near a phone, which seems like a weak excuse for what is likely a system issue. "A huge cottage for your company, no neighbors. Airport is 5 minutes walk. Very comfortable bed, air conditioner works perfectly. Cosy seats on the balcony. Great hostess. Excellent for settling on the day of arrival, flight, waiting for ferry, or to study the island by car unless you live in principle by sea. Very cool climb to the mountain, with a suitcase walking will be difficult. I recommend."
