Hotel near Harbourside,Bristol
"The hotel was very smart modern and clean. Our room was small but we had booked a standard room. Price was good compared to other hotels locally. The hotel is right next to the harbour and in the middle of a bustling nightlife. We hadn’t considered this when booking. Although the location was great, the noise from outside could be heard so loudly in our room at night. I actually thought a window was open, but it wasn’t. This went on till the early hours, music, shouting etc, so we found it hard to sleep. The bed was very comfortable though and the room spotlessly clean. Tea/coffee facilities were provided in our room, an iron and hairdryer were also there. The bathroom had a good shower, towels were provided. We didn’t dine but I did purchase a drink from the bar. After paying I was told it would be brought over to me. When it was the bartender informed me my card had declined and asked me to pay again. I did, however when I checked my bank later both payments had been paid out. Not very happy about this. Although a nice looking hotel and great price, due to the noise level at night we wouldn’t stay again. If that wouldn’t bother you the hotel would be a great choice. "

"The location is okay. I took an Uber until there was a bus station nearby. There was no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, so I asked for it. There were no slippers and a shower cap. I was a bit overwhelmed. The space in the house was small. Breakfast is ok"

"Short weekend weekend trip to Bristol- location of this hotel is great, right in the middle of the city and also only 15 minute walk to Temple Mead station. The hotel exterior is very beautiful and the room was warm and comfortable. "

"The staff was helpful and and the location was close to the station. It was near the city centre and there were many restaurants nearby. Check out was easy as you just needed to put the key inside a box. Only one problem was the lacking of hair dryer, which should be supposed to have one in the suite."

"Breakfast is very good, bread and fruit juice buffet, as well as a pure English breakfast, free order, taste very good! Drinking tea to tea cups is very exquisite, a breakfast out of a holiday feel! A family of three, asked if they would like an extra bed when they arrive at the hotel? We didn't add it, so we gave us the largest double bed room. The room was not as soundproof as the comment said. Very quiet, right next to the suspension bridge. This is also the hotel we were most satisfied with for a month in Bristol!"

"The hotel is a very old building, somewhat like a B&B, with very old facilities. Old elevators and old room facilities. The rooms are larger, the beds are softer, and they are cleaner! Although the window is small, the bathroom is relatively large with a separate bathtub, shampoo and shower gel! There is a bar downstairs in the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly. Please note that the soundproofing in the hotel rooms is very poor. You can hear all the activities in the next room clearly. The noise in the bar at night is also very bad. Affect rest"

"The location is very good, across the road is the law school building, on the top of the famous big uphill, quiet in the noisy, the garden outside the hotel is very comfortable, breakfast is good. The rooms are relatively small, the facilities are old, and there is no free parking lot."

"The hotel didn't have a formal front desk and facade. We called the hotel at 7 o'clock in the afternoon. They said that they had contacted me before (I might contact Ctrip's phone) and sent them an id and credit card picture to tell us how to self. -checkin. The room was ok, and the floor was slamming. The kettle and coffee machine were dirty, but the pots and pans were clean. In the evening, the heating can not be opened at around 17°. There is a bar restaurant downstairs, and it will be noisy one or two in the middle of the night. Please consider carefully when sleeping light."

JJitheshNice clean and new hotel. Entrance to the hotel is a bit difficult to find not being from the main road side. Amenities like toothbrush etc are payable, which was a let off. Overall good experience. 🙂

GGayatri GallowaySituated centrally but accessible for cars, the Delta Hotel works fine for a stopover night prior to a flight Being part of Marriott Bonvoy means the recently refurbished hotel has higher standards than others: spacious shiny lobby, seating areas, well-served restaurants and all the extra amenities. Unlike many other places working by the clock, the restaurant received our late arrival and food order, enjoyed over watching Match of the Day. The staff were particularly impressive. Important to me it had a terrace to the restaurant on the first floor. It looks over nothing much but urban concrete and the roundabout but it allows me to have my smoke respectfully! The room is spacious, has a personalised TV welcoming the guests by name but its smart features unfortunately didn’t work (yet) so no Netflix for us that night! Thank God, there was not just the Holy Bible but also the Book of Mormons on the right hand bedside table! ROOM Bidet/Toilet Shower ☑️ Powerful Shower ☑️ Separate Conditioner Vanity Kit Slippers Bathrobe ☑️ Double Pillows ☑️ Kettle Balcony/Terrace Smart TV HOTEL ☑️ Well Appointed Reception Area ☑️ Professional Staff ☑️ Beautiful public areas ☑️ Good adjacent restaurants ☑️ Outdoor protected seating

DDavidOur second stay - ideal city centre location, reasonable parking or £17 per 24 hours, clean rooms and communal areas, pleasant friendly staff. Areas to improve - Breakfast has very little for vegans, no vegan sausages/bacon, oat milk is requestable though. The building feels a bit tired, needs some modernising hallways quite dark and dated

AAlisonGreat location hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast with plenty of choice. Located opposite cabot circus shopping centre with free parking at nearby multi storey. We had a ok stay in an accessible room that comprised of a double bed and large sofa bed. Room was a little tatty and in need of renovation. Beds were poor, double had sagging mattresses but wasn't uncomfortable and matress on sofa bed was very thin and not very comfortable according to our 18 year old son. Facilities were very good as in plenty of clean towels, toiletries and bottled water, tea, coffee and biscuits. I would stay again but if I'm honest I did feel it was value for money.

PPhilip0519I recently stayed at the Ibis Bristol Temple Meads, and overall, it was a satisfactory experience, particularly well-suited for solo travelers. Here's a breakdown of my stay: **Cleanliness:** The hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness. My room was spotless, and the common areas were consistently tidy, reflecting the staff's commitment to hygiene and guest comfort. **Convenience for Solo Travelers:** As a solo traveler, I found the accommodation to be more than adequate. The room, although modest in size, was well-organized and equipped with all the essentials, ensuring a comfortable and efficient stay. **Location:** One of the standout features of the Ibis Bristol Temple Meads is its prime location. Situated conveniently close to Bristol Temple Meads railway station, the hotel offers easy access to public transportation and local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. **Parking Facilities:** Another notable advantage is the availability of 24-hour parking nearby. This is a significant benefit for those driving to the city, providing peace of mind and hassle-free parking during your stay. **Overall:** While the hotel is on the modest side in terms of luxury and extra amenities, it excels in providing a reliable, clean, and convenient lodging option. It's a practical choice for solo travelers looking for a budget-friendly stay with all the necessary comforts and an excellent location in Bristol. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Ibis Bristol Temple Meads serves as a solid, no-frills option that delivers on the essentials.

GGuest UserThe restaurant food was very poor quality and expensive, you would be better off getting food from the airport. Breakfast was equally poor: if you are not at the front of the queue everything is gone and not replenished. Overall I feel that hotel is taking advantage of monopoly position at Airport.

GGuest UserWe had the loveliest time here the staff were so lovely and friendly. It was about a 30 minute walk into town and if you are travelling into town at rush hour walking is the best way as the traffic was pretty bad. The room we stayed in was beautiful and clean and tidy and we were blown away by the service from the staff it really was lovely infact I was shocked to find they were part of a group and not independent as it felt the kind of service you would get from an independent. The bar and restaurants were lovely and the building was so beautiful inside and out we had a really lovely stay toiletries were provided and they smelt beautiful. thanks so much we had a lovely time.
