The location was perfect next to the China Town & convenient to CBD. Only 15-20mins transportation to  Sydney airport. I checked around 00:00, only One staff at the front desk, he seemed tired & his hand writing was terrible, the WiFi PW did not work & no one answer the phone when I dial from room. Next day, another helpful staff wrote the correct PW for me. The room was spacious but no enough desk area, the bed was comfy. The hygiene was unacceptable specially the toilet. The cleaning staff only clean twice during my 5 nights stay , the hair was sticked on the ceiling , molds were terrible in the shower area. The hotel need to enhance the cleaning & interior environment work. Overall this hotel was not worthy for the price I paid. Disappointed.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Sydney Airport's T1 terminal and very close to the bus station for Canberra, making commuting super easy. We also visited Victoria Shopping Centre and the Opera House, which were lovely. The rooms were clean and hygienic, with separate wet and dry areas, and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious, and all the front desk staff were polite and offered service with a smile. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Great friendly service, a spacious room with good facilities, and just a 5-minute walk from Central Station. The only negative I encountered was that the housekeeping is quite bad, with a lot of dust on the table and bench, and small bits of food on the carpet (unfortunately ’ve found Rydges to have generally much lower quality housekeeping than other chains).

The location is fantastic, within a 15-minute walk to major attractions like the Sydney Opera House, Hyde Park, and Darling Harbour. It's right next to Sydney's central CBD. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage. Although check-out is normally at 11 AM, we were able to extend it to 12 PM. There's a restaurant and bar downstairs with pretty good food, and plenty of dining options nearby. The soundproofing is excellent, making for a very quiet stay. The only drawback is that the room is quite small.

My family of 3 checked in early around noon. We stayed at a lovely 1 bedroom apartment on e 2nd level with a balcony which overlooks e street below. Apartment was spacious, amenities provided were sufficient though one could request for more when necessary. 

What we loved best was e location which was so convenient for us to check out different places of Sydney. We ended up walking to our destinations most of e time while enjoying e weather and scenery. There was ample food choices all around e hotel too. Apart from a busier and noisier street during e weekend, which usually dies down by midnight, my family and I had a great stay in Rydges.

Excellent location with just a few minutes walk from light rails and Chinatown. However, this hotel's service would need a bit more improvement.

The cleanliness was okay but the room was quite dusty when we got in. We didn't receive the housekeeping during the 2nd day because they said we had the DND sign on during 0900-1500. However, that was quite a news for us as we got out at around 1200 for lunch and had the housekeeping sign on then came back at around 1400 to get some stuff and we found that no housekeeper came to the room. The sign itself was a poor design as well as it would get flipped over to the other side if someone passes by fast along the corridor.

Anyways, by the time we got back to the hotel in the evening, they said they can't do anything because the housekeepers are off already. 

One more thing to be aware of is that there's a restaurant/bar downstairs. It gets quite noisy at night (around 11pm-2am) and you could actually feel the vibrations from downstairs. If you complain about it, then they would sent down the security to ask them to keep their volume down.

Alas, there was a fire that broke out in the restaurant connected to the hotel so we had to leave the hotel at 3am for safety measures.

The room is pretty new. The room and the bathroom are very clean. Got USB & USB-C charging ports and wireless charging (but it was labelled as faulty in my room so I couldn’t use it). Room size is not big but that’s what usually is for hotels in city area. Location is right in CBD, with 2 mins walk to metro station, about 7 mins walk to supermarket and shops. 

Service was excellent. The restaurant at the lobby is reasonably priced. 

Only draw backs are the mattress was too soft and the shower area was that kind with no door. We showered carefully so not to make the bathroom floor too wet but it still got wet.

Although it was a one-night dormitory that was rushed due to the lack of schedule, it was in a good location to fall outside Sydney, and there was nothing worth living in except that the bathroom was a bit old, and the breakfast was worth eating for the price. It was okay to have a choice to eat with the insuper group.
There were also McTteok, oil houses, bakery, etc. right next door, which was perfect for snacks.

1.The bed on one side,felt like it had a broken spring because it was like sinking into a bean bag.
Not good.
2.The bathroom had a terrible smell coming from the drain in the shower,it was bad enough we had to call reception to come n try n sort it out,the staff did a quick fix,but it was not ideal,they did offer to move us to another room,but we had unpacked and settled in.we just opened a window and tried to get fresh air through the room.
3. The fire alarm went off for a short time and we were told to wait for further instructions,still waiting and we checked out yesterday lol. We tried to ring reception from our room to find out more about the situation,no answer. So we dialled out of our room and rang Rydges and got through to them that way.
4. The day of checkout,was anytime before 11am, at 9 am I was in bed,my partner was in the bathroom,the door opens,no knock to let us know someone was at the door,the cleaner just walked in and then starts apologizing when she notices me in bed,I was NOT HAPPY.
5.Went down to the buffet breakfast,they couldn't find us/ our name n room number and had  to check with reception to confirm we were booked in & paying guests before we could be seated.
My partner did enjoy his bacon  & eggs breakfast,the yoghurt I had was rather bland.
The staff were very helpful and respectful when we needed them to be and they did give us a free breakfast to compensate 
But the negatives make me question whether I'd stay there again 
The positives are the location ( which is great ) and the helpful staff who were friendly and polite,but they can only do so much in certain situations.

My stay at Rydges Parramatta exceeded all expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for the entire visit.

The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy sanctuary after a long day of exploring or meetings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any request and were always eager to assist with a friendly smile. Whether it was recommending a local restaurant or arranging transportation, their attention to detail truly made me feel like a valued guest.

The amenities at Rydges Parramatta are top-notch. I enjoyed taking a refreshing dip in the pool and unwinding in the sauna after a busy day.

Courteous customer service, perfect location ( next by the lake & Polynesian Hot Pool ) and you can enjoy a lovely morning walk then go to have fun in the pool, remarkable checking in processes ( being so helpful ), room is very clean. So relaxing you ever expected!

Room was big and spacious, slightly dated decor. Great location central and easy to get around. Gym was good but air con not strong. Fire alarm woke us at 2am where everyone evacuated for an hour. Not the hotel's fault but signs were not clear where the fire exits were. The entry from car park is ground floor so could be quite noisy if you had a room on that level.

We arrived early at the hotel , the staff were very friendly and checked us in early which was great! 

It is perfect location for flights as the hotel is actually in the airport, lift straight to check in and departure lounge. 

There is a shuttle bus that goes from airport to Wellington station and stops at locations in between for museum etc. 

Stayed here a couple of times now and would definitely recommend.

I wanted to stay somewhere close to public transport. The main train station is just a stone’s throw away. It is near the end of Lambton Quay- the main drag in Wellington. Also for my friends who live in the outer suburbs of Wellington this hotel is close to the freeway and an easy access to collect me.

The room is really clean and spacious and there is a kitchenette with stove and microwave to heat up/cook food.

The bathroom is huge and has an accessible shower which is quite impressive.
