On the first day, I booked a double room, and on the second day, I booked a quadruple room.
On the second day, I realized that I had left an item in the double room, so I went to the front desk to ask whether it had been found.

Due to some communication difficulties, we decided to use a translation app to communicate.
The female staff member who initially assisted me was very kind, patient, and professional, and the communication was going well.

However, a male staff member suddenly joined the conversation and asked again about my situation in English. He then stated that he could not understand my English, which was confusing, as the female staff member clearly understood me without any issue.

In front of me, he said to his colleague,
“Guys, we are speaking English,” which was clearly directed at me and made me feel uncomfortable.

He then continued speaking in what he considered “fluent” English, repeatedly telling me that my item had not been found.

At that moment, I simply wanted to confirm whether I should return to the front desk the next day to check again.
Unfortunately, the male staff member responded with an extremely impatient and unfriendly tone, which made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable.

This hotel is located in the city center, and I assume it receives many international guests whose first language is not English. I would like to ask whether this is the standard service attitude provided to all non-native English speakers.

If your hotel does not welcome guests who are not native English speakers, please clearly state this on booking platforms.
Additionally, please do not claim that the front desk provides multilingual service, as no such service was actually provided during this experience.

Location perfect, next to T1 Sydney Airport, walking to T1 arrival hall just 3 to 5 min. Although there is no covered passage but even if it rains, the need of umbrella will be less than 1 to 2 min.

Facility standard but the gym but worn out, hotel probably need to focus more on maintainence. The entrance door is broken so key card become unnecessary and only one Treadmill out of 3 works. Not infrequently seen in airport hotels.

Food ok in lobby diner.

Good stay for the night before long haul back to HK.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The check in process was easy and the reception staff were friendly and very helpful. When we arrived at our room we found it to be inviting and it had a cosy, homely feel. The convenience of being so close to the Capitol theatre made this the perfect venue for us! Reception staff were happy to recommend local restaurants and we were offered pre show refreshments from the Capitol kitchen. Even when it was time to leave, check out was at 11am so there was no rush in the morning. The check out procedure was so simple and the whole stay left us with a feeling of happiness. We will most definitely rebook when we attend the next show at the Capitol Theatre.

Spacious and clean. They provided us extra bed as we travelling with family of four. The beds were super comfy. Good service for making taxi for us to heading to airport on super early morning.

The corner room was very spacious and comfortable for a family stay. There's also a small balcony. The kitchen is well-equipped with coffee and tea provided. The minibar is chargeable, and there are no toothbrushes or slippers. The only 'bug' was that the third bed in the triple room was in the living room and had a glass door that let in all the light, so we were woken up by the brightness early in the morning.

Firstly, the photos are severely misleading (I'm not sure if this is a Ctrip issue or a hotel issue). The accessible room was pictured with floor-to-ceiling windows, and the bathroom also had floor-to-ceiling windows, but in reality, the room only had a small half-window, and the bathroom had no windows at all. When I brought this up to the front desk, they said only the top floor has floor-to-ceiling windows, and all other rooms are like the one we had. It felt like a bait-and-switch.

Since we were only staying one night, we decided to just put up with it. Unexpectedly, at around 7 AM the next morning, someone repeatedly knocked on the door, and then actually used a key card to open it (there was no deadbolt inside). Although the person immediately apologized and left, it still scared us quite a bit. When we called the front desk, after checking, they said a cleaner had gotten the room number wrong. -_-

What's even more frustrating is that outside the window was a construction site, and they started working around 8 AM. After being scared, we were then subjected to noise, making it impossible to sleep.

The only upside is the location; it's not far from the National Botanic Garden and very close to Wynyard Station.

The hotel's location is great, and the rooms are new. The front desk staff were very friendly. The check-in time is quite strict, but some other guests were able to check in early. The prices at the bar are reasonable, but if you don't want to use it, you'll need to buy your drinks in advance. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.

This hotel in Sydney felt the most like a domestic chain hotel. Inside, I didn't even feel like I was in a foreign country, with familiar decor and style. It might even have been decorated and designed by Chinese people. It was just for a one-night stay. Breakfast was decent.

My stay at Rydges Parramatta exceeded all expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for the entire visit.

The hotel's location is fantastic, situated in the heart of Parramatta, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Rydges Parramatta offers convenience without compromising on comfort.

The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy sanctuary after a long day of exploring or meetings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any request and were always eager to assist with a friendly smile. Whether it was recommending a local restaurant or arranging transportation, their attention to detail truly made me feel like a valued guest.

The amenities at Rydges Parramatta are top-notch. I enjoyed taking a refreshing dip in the pool and unwinding in the sauna after a busy day.

Although it was a one-night dormitory that was rushed due to the lack of schedule, it was in a good location to fall outside Sydney, and there was nothing worth living in except that the bathroom was a bit old, and the breakfast was worth eating for the price. It was okay to have a choice to eat with the insuper group.
There were also McTteok, oil houses, bakery, etc. right next door, which was perfect for snacks.

Strongly recommend this hotel, especially for families with children.

There’s an outdoor heated pool with sauna which was perfect to end the day with. Also comes with a playroom with table tennis, foosball, table hockey which is great for family bonding.

Kids dine free with paying adults so is great for family. Breakfast spread was good!

The overall experience was very disappointing. The service desk was always occupied since there was only one staff member available, which made check-in and any requests very time-consuming. The biggest issue was the hot water kettle in the room—it was in terrible condition, with visible dirt and stains. I needed to boil water for my baby, but it was impossible to use safely. This was a nightmare and left me very dissatisfied with the stay.

A hotel for the location really. Perfect for an early morning flight. The view out the windows to the construction area below isn't great, but you don't stay here for the views. Nice smooth check-in and check-out, even at 5am.

The hotel looked good at the reception, but the room was a bit old. We had stains on the bedding and decorative pillow covers. Bathroom didn’t have toothpaste or cotton pads, so you better be prepared. The window view was okay, but a little noisy. Location was good though.
