I chose this hotel for my business trip, and my overall experience was very satisfying! The location is excellent; it's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making getting around incredibly convenient.

The hotel's exterior is simple yet grand, and the lobby is decorated warmly and comfortably. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and efficient, making both check-in and check-out quick. My room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, ample hot water, and a full set of toiletries, showing great attention to detail.

The breakfast offered a rich variety of options, combining Chinese and Western dishes, with fresh ingredients and good flavors. Additionally, the hotel provides free high-speed Wi-Fi, a gym, and laundry service, making the facilities comprehensive and suitable for both business and leisure needs.

Overall, this is a very high-value-for-money hotel, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

This was the best hotel experience we have had in Shanghai, and we have had more than our share of hotel experiences. The room was amazing, did not smell and was super clean; they put flowers in the bathtub for my birthday along with a delicious mini cake to be enjoyed. The breakfast was fresh and full of variety. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke really good English. We will most certainly make our way back here again in the near future.

I stayed here with my mom for two days. The front desk arranged a room near the elevator. The lake view was excellent, and it was beautiful at night.

We ordered takeout, and the soup spilled, dripping out. The guy ran off quickly. The concierge at the door helped me pack the food in a bag. I was very grateful.

The Chinese restaurant had delicious food, beautiful utensils, and attentive service. The vegetables were a little old and stuck in our teeth. We asked who had floss, and the waiter immediately brought some.

The hotel's pursuit of quality is evident in every detail. From the moment we were greeted by the friendly and professional guest services attendant, our needs were always met promptly and naturally, making for a pleasant communication experience. The room environment was quiet and cozy, with excellent soundproofing that ensured a restful stay, and the custom mattress provided a full night of deep sleep. The location is superb; the hotel is right next to a subway station, making it quick and easy to reach Coco Park shopping center and the picturesque Lianhua Mountain Park. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options.

First, what I'm satisfied with:

Service: I gave a relatively high score purely because of the service at the Executive Lounge on the second floor, especially the young lady in the gray suit. Her service awareness is exceptional; she always remembers my name, and my baby adores her. We stayed for three days and two nights with the whole family, and had breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner. The entire experience was made wonderful by all the staff on the second floor, including the young lady who helped make coffee and the very helpful cleaning auntie.

Others: The variety of the buffet breakfast was indeed limited, but since there weren't many guests, the dishes were quite refined and practical. And with fewer people, the experience was great, so the limited choices didn't bother me at all.

What I'm not so satisfied with:

1. The JW Marriott Qianhai is divided into a main building and an annex (Wing of Light), and they're not close to each other. However, I was only informed of this by the hotel via phone call on the morning of check-in. Since I had already used a pre-sale voucher to book, I couldn't cancel even after learning my booked room was in the annex. I really think Ctrip shouldn't combine these two properties for sale, as I couldn't possibly drive to the main building just to swim 🏊 (I brought swimsuits for myself and my baby, but they went unused). In essence, they are two different hotels, just under the Marriott brand. For someone booking, it's impossible to tell them apart, and you wouldn't know the facilities are separate and somewhat distant.

2. Because I had my baby with me, we ran out of mineral water for making milk at night. I called the front desk for more bottles, but after waiting from 8 PM to 9 PM, none arrived. Luckily, I had another room booked which I could use. So, I called again specifically to say: 'Don't send the water now; if the child wakes up, it will disturb them, please, please don't!' I repeated this many times, but they still sent it at 10 PM.....

3. The next morning, I informed the front desk that we didn't need cleaning for our two rooms. Because of the baby's many belongings, I was afraid things would get lost. Given the experience from the previous night, I specifically asked them to convey this to their colleagues. Yet, before we left in the morning, the cleaning auntie still asked if we wanted the room cleaned... I kept repeating 'No, no thank you.'

4. The room curtains were a bit short at the bottom, so a beam of light would shine into the room very early.

5. The 'Do Not Disturb' button by the door didn't work and didn't light up in either room. I thought of using the door hanger (but its content wasn't 'Do Not Disturb' anyway, I forgot what irrelevant thing it said).

I want to sincerely thank the staff at Jw Marriott Marquis Dubai for their warm hospitality, politeness, and outstanding service. A few staff members who made our stay memorable include Alex at the bell desk, who was very helpful and provided clear directions; James at the front desk, who was courteous and friendly during check-in; Rahim at La Farine, who surprised my mom with a birthday cake and was very attentive throughout our dinner; and Sir Mark and Miss Angelie from Guest Relations, who made my mom’s birthday celebration truly special.

I recently stayed for 4 nights at the JW Marriott Marina Hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent for those who want to be close to the beach, making it great for leisure travelers. However, the nearby mall doesn’t offer many shops, which might be disappointing for shopping enthusiasts. I also feel the hotel would benefit from having a restaurant with live entertainment, as seen in other hotels,this hotel is better suited for business trips rather than leisure stays, given its amenities and overall atmosphere.”
