"All and all we were not impressed. A Fawlty Towers gone to seed, or perhaps to sleep in the off season.
Positives: a good city view in our second room, and the room was a good size. Hallways and stairs were mopped every day. Staff was friendly. A nearby cafe frequented by visiting monks provided good meals at a moderate price.
Negatives:
Wifi did not work in our first assigned room/ floor, had to ask for toilet paper snd soap in both rooms, the sheets in first room had holes and were stained but we were then moved to another room/ floor for working wifi. Floor hadnt been cleaned in the second room and doubtful sheets had been changed. We also had no hot water the first day though manager assured us it would be fixed- it wasnt until next day when we complained again (complaining meant walking down to reception as the phones were not connected!) We requested the room be cleaned but it wasn't- the mgr forgetting we had asked … This was the ongoing pattern. Oh- the hotel restaurant was not operating, but given the overall slapdash standard of almost everything else, this was probably just ss well!"

"The general manager of the hotel is super nice and the other service staff are also very enthusiastic and really nice.
The location is good, not too noisy.
The sound insulation is a little bit poor.
Everything else is good, highly recommended if you are on a spiritual journey.
If it's a luxury trip, that's a different story."

"Comfortable and luxurious stay. Clean and well maintained. Good service. Prime and proper location, close to all the tourist spots. Though the food is quite expensive and lastly the hotel parking space is quite limited and lacks a proper space. Otherwise the hotel management and staff are quite cooperative and helpful."

"The staff were all very attentive, helpful and always ready to offer assistance when needed. Manager aditya and staff ravi made our 2week stay comfortable, in clean and tidy environment. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good with lots of selections. I look forward to staying in this hotel again. Very admirable conduct all round !"

"Hotel Bodh Villas is a welcoming place in GAYA, Bihar. The food was exceptionally good in that hot meals are always custom made-to-order and delicious. The hotel ***agement facilitates cab services, which are somewhat expensive compared to the local fare. The views from the individual room balcony are stunningly picturesque since we see Buddhist temple architectures. The service was exceptional although our room floors needed to be cleaned of debris more often. We had to make multiple requests to have fresh towels delivered everyday. All shops and points of interest are between 10+ kilometers away, so we are entirely dependent on the hotel staff for any of our needs. Fortunately
They have an exception food service available between 7 am and 11pm. The walls between rooms are thin and the adjoining guests can create a noise problem. We plan to revisit the hotel upon our next visit. We provided this feedback and they have kept it in advisement. "

"One of the most clean hotel I have ever seen. Beautiful and big size rooms. Lobby size is very good to sit more than 25 people at a time. I really appreciate the house keeping staff to maintain the cleanliness of the hotel on top.
Great location, walking distance to the maha bodhi temple, friendly staff and good environment to stay. As for the food, every meal was a culinary delight and every bite was a taste sensation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay."

GGuest UserThe beautiful ‘Sarovar’property in Bodhgaya, has been set up in a tranquil & green environment. We went there for 2 days then extended our stay for one more day. Still the sweeeet memories of the vacation are lingering on. The rooms overlooking the water bodies are spacious, relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. The food at the ‘Varada Café’ is delightful. Very polite & well trained staff. Thanks, the entire team ‘Marasa Sarovar Premier’ for filling our stay with your warmth and care. We will certainly be staying here again with our friends soon.

GGuest UserThe room was big and clean. The waiter was very helpful. There was a wedding downstairs during the two nights I stayed there. It was very lively and didn't get quiet until around 2am. I think this is the custom of Indians. The hotel waiter only speaks English and Hindi, no Chinese.
