I liked the accommodation, friendly, good location, fairly priced including breakfast which was amazing well served.
It was ashamed wasn’t en-suite room available when I did my booking. Good room with a nice double bed which I liked very much.

It's a little far from Blavkpool North Station in the center of town, but it's close by bus or train. The Blackpool Grand Hotel is a very large hotel and very easy to find, so I thought it was a safe hotel for beginners. The front desk staff are always on standby, so I thought it was a very safe hotel.
Overall this hotel was nice great location, also on the the beach, good transport and easy to walk to town centre, good facilities, only flaw was it was our first visit to the hotel and I booked a family of 5 room with a sea view costing 78 pounds and on arrival was given a family of 4 room with no sea view only costing 65 pounds which I know as it stated the price on the receipt I was given by reception on arrival
Fair & Honest.
Negatives - 1) room (single with double bed) too small.
2) bar staff (gent) too cocky let the team down
3) no comeback when they checked my room out for cigarette smoke (from designated outside smoking area).
Positives -1) entertainment 1st class 2) all staff have obviously been well trained on how to respect customers. 3) very friendly holiday makers hotel 4) location
It's a little far from Blackpool North Station, but the rooms are very spacious. It's not a super luxury hotel, but it's very clean and comfortable. There is also an elevator.
The Henson hotel is a little far from the station and downtown, so if you have a large suitcase, it's a good idea to take a taxi.
There are buses and trams running so it's fine even at night.

Excellent
GGuest UserIt certainly is a fabulous building but jaded splendour springs to mind. The window in our room was in very poor condition and a gap to outside of 4 inches long and 1 inch wide during storm Lillian this was an issue. Apparently some rooms are fitted with UPVC
I reported this to duty manager Louis, I asked for another quilt, we had to ask again at bed time. We were compensated with an evening meal which was good standard.
Bathroom door had swollen so it took two people to open.
But bed was very comfortable and the room and linen very clean. Breakfast buffet was very nice with hot plates and good selection.
The hotel is conveniently situated and very large. Would stay again and ask for a refurbished room
LLauraGreat little stay hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very decent in size perfect to have 2 double beds. Rooms were very clean and bright. Tram is a must if the weather is bad! Luckily there's a stop just across the road from the hotel as its 45 mins walk from here to north Pier
GGordonWe were dissappointed in the car parking situation. It wasn't exactly made clear that you need to drive into where it was marked exit and press for them to lift the barrier. Then unfortunately there was no room so had to call into reception to find out where we could park it was a bit stressful and could have been avoided. The hotel itself is very secure as you need to press for access to the entrance. Once up to reception on the first floor we were welcomed and allocated a room. The room was very tired with marked and scratched walls and ceiling. The bathroom had all the ususl facilities but a great big crack was in the tiles on the floor about two and half feet long. The shower head was dirty and the bottom of the main door was peeling away. The bed was two single mattresses put together which were obviously well used and meant there was a bump in between which wasnt very comfy. The bar was expensive for drinks and the staff seemed to multitask serving and cleaning tables etc. Some of the same staff were at breakfast and it just felt a bit overall short staffed. The breakfast itself was adequate but basic. We did notify reception on checking out of our findings as we are not usually ones to complain but the issues do make a difference and some just general maintenance.
GGuest UserHotel was clean, people were friendly, not to far from tower etc
pictures made hotel room look bigger than it is, it's very small. I paid for bed and breakfast, if I knew what breakfast would be like I would have skipped it.
U get small chopped tomatoes from tin which aren't even hot, would have prefers a real tomato. You get a small bowl of beans which is about a table spoon worth. The fried bread isn't even 1 slice or half a slice it's quarter slice . And 1 hash brown. Toast was cold aswell. Small glass of orange juice and coffee. Out of all that I drank orange and coffee and 1 slice of toast , couldn't eat rest. Others may find it ok but wasn't for me
Tv wasn't working and could only connect to WiFi in reception area.
Staff were lovely though .
PPredrag Patrick S.Great value. Spotless clean, very kind and helpful staff. Perfect location, 2 min walk from the train station, the beach, nightclubs (particularly those lgbt spots), 5 min walk to the Blackpool Tower. Coffee/tea making facilities, also toiletries provided. 👌
GGuest UserHotel is aged but it is not a bad hotel for the price you get what you pay for 66 pound for a family room for the night isn’t bad at all I didn’t eat here just drunk and went for a Sauna stream and swim location is a bit out of the way but if you time the trams isn’t a issue Ubers are a bit slow getting to you But that’s about it I would definitely come again no problems
GGuest UserThe hotel was fine and near some of the tourist amusement area. However, making me change hotel on my last night of stay for some reasons wasn't pleasant to me.
SSharonsolutely amazing hotel ...staff are so friendly nothing was too much for them if there's anything you need they will cater for it if possible ...the Foods amazing ... the bar is well priced the swimming pool and sauna is cheap perfect for families and couples ..
Definitely will be going again
3rd time I've stayed here it's amazing
AAbigail FinnWas given incorrect room, booked 2 double beds and got 1 small double and 2 singles. WIFI does not work and no phone signal. Water pressure from shower was awful and it was either to hot or to cold. Also was dirty with hairs. The radiator in the room made an awful noise which was rattling all night long. Beds are like sleeping on concrete. No one is ar reception from 22:00 and in the morning when giving my key card back no one was at reception to complain.
Would not return or recommend this hotel to anyone
GGuest UserClean and tidy room, quad with private bathroom, 2 double beds. Blinds on windows instead of curtains and not blackout blinds, which left gaps in so people could see into room. Tv and tea/coffee in room. No breakfast available as no chef currently employed. £50 cash deposit must be given on check-in which was returned with no problem after room inspection. Well stocked bar and karaoke with bingo was played on Friday and Saturday night. Parking available at £10 a night but looked a bit risky out the back so didn’t park here. Reception not always manned and can be a long wait for someone to come after pressing bell. No hot water on 2nd morning so it looks like the early risers take all the hot water. For the price for a family of 4 over easter it wasn’t as bad as some reviews.
