"I thought the sauna was included in our stay that’s why I booked the hotel.
When I’ve mentioned it to the staff about not having an additional cost to it when you book online, they told me is part of the spa . This is very confusing as if it was part of the spa why mentioning it and not including it in the spa section .
Spa and sauna are not the same and if it’s a cost to it , that should be mentioned.
Anything else was amazing . Also they don’t have a separate cost to the sauna only ! I just wanted to use the gym and the sauna , no spa though! There was no possibility to book the sauna without the spa.
It’s like 20 euros per acces not per day which I thought it’s a rip off especially when you are already booked with the hotel and you’ve paid for your room! Again staff showed no flexibility , it was either pay for something you won’t use or you don’t get it!
Ended up not booking it because I did not want to use the spa , and I thought it was a lot of money (20 euros) to pay for 15 min use of sauna only."
"Stayed a couple of nights in NYX Hotel Bilbao. The location of the hotel is ideal, with most attractions within easy walking distance. Close to the old part of Bilbao which has plenty of restaurants and bars. Also close to shops and a nice riverside walk to the Guggemheim museum. Can’t rate food as did not use hotel amenities. Overall the hotel had a modern stylish feel to it. Check in and out was speedy and staff were courteous.Rooms are quite small and the glass walled bathroom may not suit everyone’s taste. All in all, we were happy to stay at this hotel for it’s location and overall stylishness."

Great
SSemilistnikGreat hotel, very cozy rooms, although small. Great shower, everything melts in the room perfectly. You need to ask for a bathrobe and slippers separately, but in Spain this practice is almost everywhere. There is welcome champagne and goodies at the reception. Delicious marmalade! I can say that the hotel is excellent, we spent only a day there, but we liked everything very much. Comfortable beds with a soft mattress, super comfortable pillows. Breakfast deserves special attention - it has absolutely everything. The location of the hotel is excellent. In general, everything is great 🫶
GGuest UserWhat a great hotel! Across the board we were blown away by how perfect this hotel made our stay.
The staff - ALWAYS helpful and fun and professional.
The room - Beautiful, large double bed for us was more than adequate and a large room.
Bathroom - Great size and LARGE tub and shower with TONS of water pressure.
Location - Bilbao is one of the most walkable cities, but the hotel is right at the edge of the river so 10 min to Guggenheim and 5 min to the old town.
Breakfast - We had breakfast a couple times and the beans and eggs were my staple. The eggs were off the first visit, but the second visit they were much better. Bacon and pastries were tasty and the cream cheese with herbs was a treat.
We will be back for sure. You won't be disappointed by staying here.
GGuest UserIt's a nice hotel. Everything you need is there. Good city part around. But the devil was hidden in the details.
1) Upon checking in, I discovered hair from a trimmed beard in the shampoo holder on the sink (while I was yelling and running around in circles my partner had just rinsed it off).
2) Centuries of dust on the shelf and TV.
3) The clock on March 01, 2024 is still set one hour ahead. at 8:40pm I get dressed and run out to a meeting by 9pm. which as it later turns out will be in 1.20 minutes. Answer: the technician is no longer at the hotel today, we will let him know. March 04, 2024, at the time of our departure, the clock is still showing the wrong time.
And I thought: ”ok we can live with that”. BUT
3) The room is hot, it's really hot. We Germans and so used to sleep at +17 degrees at night (save money energy and its healthy))). Also my the partner does not tolerate the heat at all (Also if you have age changes or something else... It could be horror). The answer from the hotel: ”It's winter, the air conditioner only works for heating”. This we find out after we have been ”cooling” for a day and a half (but the hotel description has 138 rooms with air conditioning!?).
4) We get a fan to cool down.
5) I discover that the sheets are 50 percent and the pillows are 52 percent synthetic. ((at this point, I realize why they are so sweaty and sweltering to sleep in. I know its subjective).
This hotel recived 3 out of 5 in my rating.
P.S.: The glasses were not washed perfectly (it's just gazpacho, not oil paint and black tea)
The toilet paper holder is positioned so that you hit it with your butt every time you sit down on the toilet, and when you sit down it rests on your chest
SSHAWON SHOHELExceptional Stay at Holiday Inn Bilbao!
Our stay at Holiday Inn Bilbao from March 18-19 was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service exceeded our expectations.
The hotel provided seamless airport pick-up and drop-off, making our travel stress-free. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. We were particularly impressed with the peaceful and welcoming environment, perfect for relaxation.
The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional customer service team—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.
Overall, Holiday Inn Bilbao provided us with an excellent experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Looking forward to staying here again!

ちちゃんみらI stayed here for one night on my way to San Seba. It was incredibly convenient, directly connected to the International Station, where the bus to San Seba departs. It was also just a few minutes from San Mame Stadium. The museum and the city center are within walking distance, about a 20-30 minute walk. The facilities are very clean and wheelchair accessible, with amenities and a welcome drink included, which was very helpful. It might be quite expensive during soccer season, but otherwise it's great value for money.
GGuest UserIt is clean and friendly. The room condition is good for the price. (Hotels with the same price near Abando Station have smaller rooms for the same price) You can walk to major tourist attractions and public transportation is good, so it was convenient for sightseeing.
CchowThe hotel is in the city center, nearest to the train station, and there are many dining halls nearby. It is convenient and the front desk service is very attentive. When I booked the car rented at the train station online to pick up the car, I found that the car rental shop was now There is no service for decoration, only a piece of paper is posted to tell you to take a taxi for 15 minutes to go to the city center branch to pick up the car. It immediately caught fire. Due to the inconvenience of a lot of luggage, I went back to the hotel for help. The guy at the front desk called me very well The car rental company talked for a long time and asked the car rental company to drive to the hotel to pick us up and pick up the car. This front desk clerk is really much, really a five-star service!

Very Good
WWalt from LAOverall good experience, good stay, good price, good sized room. Location was good. Beds were comfortable and not too small. Room was basic but we knew that going in. There was a microwave wave and fridge. It took us a while to figure out the air conditioning but it worked. There wasn’t soap in the bathroom. Some issues were that it being a dorm it didn’t have things that you would find in a hotel room like a blow dryer or cups. So we could heat water in microwave but we had to buy cups to hold the water in. If we had access to a kettle or a blow dryer or mugs, even paying to rent one would have made things easier. The laundry room did not accept coins so we had to download an app to wash our chonies. I’m not sure giving some app my credit info to be able to clean my chonies was worth it.
GGuest UserStaff were really friendly and accommodating. A bit further out from city centre than initially anticipated and not in the nicest part of the city but fairly accessible from the local metro station.
