Amazing

DDouyacaiThis hotel was a surprising and authentic find! The whole place has a classic Thai wooden style, and the rooms are huge with amazing sea views. Waking up to that view each morning was just wonderful… While the decor is a bit older, the hotel facilities are very comprehensive. My favorite part was the huge balcony – perfect for comfortably zoning out. The breakfast was excellent, with different dishes every day, featuring fresh vegetables and fruits. What was really unexpected was the number of peacocks 🦚 strolling around the hotel grounds. They weren't afraid of people at all. To be honest, I was a bit scared of them myself; their calls were quite loud! Sometimes, two peacocks would even stand guard right outside my room, making it hard for me to get in. 🏡 The only inconvenience was that there are no supermarkets or restaurants around the hotel. You have to take the hotel's shuttle bus to get out. Once you reach White Sand Beach, you can shop or eat freely. It was a bit of a hassle, to be honest. The hotel's food was also a bit expensive and, more importantly, not very good. Since I stayed for many days, I ended up buying a lot of things from 7-Eleven to bring back to my room. Service: Excellent, very friendly attitude. Environment: I highly recommend the environment and the hotel's beach 🏖️ – it's perfect! If you're looking to just relax and not do any shopping, this place is definitely worth considering.

Выходишь с бунгало, несколько шагов и море. Лежаки закреплены за каждым бунгало. В этом году море было мутновато, вечером была мошка кусучая. Рядом кафе , где можно и позавтракать, и пообедать, и поужинать. В 10 минутах есть тайский магазин под навесом с приемлемыми ценами. На туктуке можно доехать до пирса Бангбао

MMia HSU is TaiwaneseWe had an amazing stay at Sylvan Koh Chang and truly enjoyed every moment. The resort is beautiful and full of little surprises. Every corner is stunning, surrounded by nature and beautiful frangipani flowers. The scent of fresh frangipani around the swimming pool was absolutely wonderful and made the whole stay feel even more special. The staff were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. They kindly prepared a lovely towel birthday cake for my partner with fresh frangipani flowers, which was such a sweet and memorable surprise. During breakfast, we even saw a huge bird nearby, which was a unique and memorable experience. One of our most unforgettable moments was walking back along the beach at night after dinner. The sky was full of stars, and we even saw a shooting star. It felt magical and romantic. Overall, it was a wonderful stay filled with beautiful memories. We would definitely love to come back again and highly recommend this resort to couples looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway.

GGuest UserThe Hotel has an excellent location with restaurants and supermarket nearby. My recommendation is to check in only in the beach facing rooms as the view is awesome. From other rooms there is no view. The beach is very rocky but you can walk up a few minutes and it gets better. I have given average rating only because of lack of basic facilities. There is no room service or in-room dialing. You need to contact reception through Whatsapp. Basic amenities like toothpaste, clothes hook, sugar, teabags, milk sachets are not in the room. Only limited coffee pouches are given per day. This is not expected from a premium resort. The breakfast is nice esp. the eggs made to order and cheese platter. Overall we had a good stay due to the location of the room. The management needs to just do a bit extra to make it a top grade Hotel

The room was nice, but a bit dark; I'd recommend upping the lighting. Otherwise, everything was fantastic, with a spacious balcony and room. The breakfast was amazing, with a huge variety of dishes! There are two pools, you can also play ping-pong and swing. The beach, which is part of the hotel, is also wonderful. The hotel grounds are large and well-maintained, and the location is great, with a 7/11, a supermarket, and plenty of cafes nearby. Thank you so much for such great service! But the only thing I need to warn you about is: beware of mosquitoes!

The rooms are spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and the snow-white bed linen is a real pleasure to sleep in. The air conditioning works perfectly — the temperature in the room was always comfortable. Special thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. Honestly, I was almost in tears when it was time to leave. This is a place you want to come back to again and again. Stage Hotel is not just a hotel — it’s a feeling of comfort, calm, and warmth away from home. We will definitely return ❤️

GGuest UserOverall, the hotel is decent. The location is excellent and the facilities are ok. However, my experience was incredibly frustrating due to the total lack of control in the beach area. The Issue: The ”Towel Mafia” It seems there are people who live at the hotel permanently and take over the beach chairs very early in the morning. By 8:00 AM, all the chairs are empty but ”reserved” with towels. When my girlfriend and I decided to use two chairs that had been unoccupied for over an hour, a man approached us in a very aggressive manner, claiming the chairs belonged to them simply because he had placed a towel there first. Lack of Staff Support The most disappointing part was the hotel's response: • At Reception: They confirmed that chairs cannot be reserved and that we were free to use them. • In Practice: This group of residents continued to disturb and harass us day after day. • Management: Despite being aware of the situation, the hotel staff did absolutely nothing to mediate, enforce the rules, or explain the seating policy to these individuals. It is a shame that a place with such potential allows certain guests to intimidate others, ruining the peace of a vacation. If you are looking for a hotel where rules are respected and everyone is treated fairly, I would look elsewhere.

GGuest UserA small, cozy hotel. Rooms are cleaned upon request (ours weren't cleaned even once in three days), and water and toilet paper were left at the door. Two supermarkets are nearby! You can rent a motorbike for 200 baht. The sea is 300 meters away, with a sandy beach. Every day, elephants are taken for a swim in the Gulf of Thailand. For 500 baht, you can arrange a private photo shoot and swim with an elephant. In the evening, it's pleasant to stroll towards the sea and have a drink (shakes, coffee, etc.) at the pier or cafe.

We really liked the hotel's location – it's nestled in a quiet cove on Lonely Beach, with only 4 hotels in the vicinity, making it quite secluded and peaceful. The atmosphere is truly perfect for a relaxed tropical vacation. Pros: The hotel is perfectly situated right on the beach. The breakfasts are a definite highlight: extensive and varied, with an omelet station (cooked fresh for you) and excellent coffee, which isn't always the case in Thai hotels. We were also pleased with the room rate – quite affordable, even cheap, for this beach, plus there was a free cancellation option. The hotel has a clean pool, beach towels are available, and there's a lovely bar right on the shore. We took many photos of the grounds, breakfasts, and the bar – very atmospheric! Things to note: Yes, the rooms are indeed old and quite worn; a renovation wouldn't hurt. However, for us, this wasn't a deal-breaker: on a beach vacation, we spend minimal time in the room – just for sleeping. The main thing was that the air conditioning worked, there was water, and the mattress was comfortable. If you're similar, this is a great option for you. As for the location outside the hotel: it's quite a long walk to the night market and the local village with shops. If you don't have a scooter, you'll have to trek a fair bit. It's about a 7-minute ride on a scooter, so transport will come in handy here. Conclusion: This hotel is ideal for those looking for an inexpensive and cozy option right on Lonely Beach with delicious breakfasts, who are willing to overlook tired but perfectly functional rooms for sleeping. My rating: 3.5 out of 5.
