Amazing

DDouyacaiThis hotel was a surprising and authentic find! The whole place has a classic Thai wooden style, and the rooms are huge with amazing sea views. Waking up to that view each morning was just wonderful… While the decor is a bit older, the hotel facilities are very comprehensive. My favorite part was the huge balcony – perfect for comfortably zoning out. The breakfast was excellent, with different dishes every day, featuring fresh vegetables and fruits. What was really unexpected was the number of peacocks 🦚 strolling around the hotel grounds. They weren't afraid of people at all. To be honest, I was a bit scared of them myself; their calls were quite loud! Sometimes, two peacocks would even stand guard right outside my room, making it hard for me to get in. 🏡 The only inconvenience was that there are no supermarkets or restaurants around the hotel. You have to take the hotel's shuttle bus to get out. Once you reach White Sand Beach, you can shop or eat freely. It was a bit of a hassle, to be honest. The hotel's food was also a bit expensive and, more importantly, not very good. Since I stayed for many days, I ended up buying a lot of things from 7-Eleven to bring back to my room. Service: Excellent, very friendly attitude. Environment: I highly recommend the environment and the hotel's beach 🏖️ – it's perfect! If you're looking to just relax and not do any shopping, this place is definitely worth considering.

AAntonIf you love beautiful nature, clean sandy beach (not like white sand), human attitude is here. The price/quality ratio is just amazing! Private beach, next to a good restaurant on the seaside. In general, there is a good set of depth in the sea. A good massage salon with a stunning view. English speaking staff is rare. Water in bottles every day and little pleasures. A good Internet that catches even on the beach. From the downsides - perhaps too much distance from the venue, but that's all the beauty. The lack of a teapot and a refrigerator in the cottage, and the compulsory presence of a motorbike as on the back. I advise as much as possible.

MMia HSU is TaiwaneseWe had an amazing stay at Sylvan Koh Chang and truly enjoyed every moment. The resort is beautiful and full of little surprises. Every corner is stunning, surrounded by nature and beautiful frangipani flowers. The scent of fresh frangipani around the swimming pool was absolutely wonderful and made the whole stay feel even more special. The staff were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. They kindly prepared a lovely towel birthday cake for my partner with fresh frangipani flowers, which was such a sweet and memorable surprise. During breakfast, we even saw a huge bird nearby, which was a unique and memorable experience. One of our most unforgettable moments was walking back along the beach at night after dinner. The sky was full of stars, and we even saw a shooting star. It felt magical and romantic. Overall, it was a wonderful stay filled with beautiful memories. We would definitely love to come back again and highly recommend this resort to couples looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway.

GGuest UserNice room and decent hotel. Breakfast looks better than it tastes. The warm daily dishes are disappointing and there is absence of good Thai food. The bread, deli meat, cheeses, bread and salad choices are fine. Eggs and waffles are made to order and they are fine. Restaurant is not air conditioned and has small fans which add very little ventilation. Had issues twice with air conditioning and tub. Maid kept room very clean and made towels into pretty shapes along with flowers on bed. Made mistake of coming in May and it was miserably hot and most chairs are not shielded from the sun. The beach although beautiful is very narrow and filled with large rocks and coral so not good for walking or swimming. Had to walk down beach to find a better beach area but it lacked shade. If you can get the room without the 300 baht each normal charge I would suggest it. We had one day nearby in a cheaper hotel because we arrived late. Problem we had in May is there very few breakfast choices near either hotel. Very few street food vendors and mainly overpriced western food. Took several days to find good Thai food. I would recommend Koh Kood if you are alone. Better beaches and cheaper foods

GGuest UserWe stayed at Stage Hotel for 15 days, and it was truly wonderful. A very cozy, clean, and comfortable hotel that makes you feel at home from the very first days. The rooms are spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and the snow-white bed linen is a real pleasure to sleep in. The air conditioning works perfectly — the temperature in the room was always comfortable. Special thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. Honestly, I was almost in tears when it was time to leave. This is a place you want to come back to again and again. Stage Hotel is not just a hotel — it’s a feeling of comfort, calm, and warmth away from home. We will definitely return ❤️

GGuest UserNo mango smoothie available for two days! In Thailand!!! Restaurant lasagne middle warm while the dish itself couldn’t be touched as it was the only hot thing. The Pool Pumps are high pitch streaming several times per day, which is very annoying. Restaurant „reserves“ table for non showing guest for hours. Prevent us from sitting at a nicer spot. And removed the reserved sign when we were done. Don’t Reserve seats… all this does is upset off other customers. The rooms were small and clean but the aircondition made a loud Sound very time the Compressor switched on. So sleeping well was not possible. The toilet Seat in the bath was just loosen attached an fall off on the time. Simple things no one seems to notice and fix… a bit disappointing Also be aware that you cannot lock your door and keep the ac running, as they use physical keys for the door, welded to the AC activation card.

GGuest UserA small, cozy hotel. Rooms are cleaned upon request (ours weren't cleaned even once in three days), and water and toilet paper were left at the door. Two supermarkets are nearby! You can rent a motorbike for 200 baht. The sea is 300 meters away, with a sandy beach. Every day, elephants are taken for a swim in the Gulf of Thailand. For 500 baht, you can arrange a private photo shoot and swim with an elephant. In the evening, it's pleasant to stroll towards the sea and have a drink (shakes, coffee, etc.) at the pier or cafe.

It is an excellent choice if you want privacy, relaxation, and great swimming pools, but it is not the best choice if you want to swim in the ocean directly from the hotel beach. Key Features • Location: It is located at Bai Lan Bay, which is south of the popular ”Lonely Beach.” It is very quiet. To find nightlife or a variety of street food, you will likely need to take a taxi or rent a motorbike to drive about 5-10 minutes to Lonely Beach or Kai Bae. • The Beach: Important Note: The hotel has a private beachfront, but it is quite rocky. It is beautiful for sunsets and relaxing on bean bags, but it is generally not suitable for swimming due to the rocks. • Pools: To make up for the rocky beach, the hotel has two excellent swimming pools. One is a large free-form pool by the ocean, which is very popular with guests. • Rooms: The resort offers a range of rooms from Standard to Private Pool Villas. The rooms are generally reviewed as spacious and modern with Thai influences. The Pool Villas are highly recommended for couples seeking privacy. Dining & Facilities • The Bay Restaurant: Serves International and Thai cuisine. Reviews generally praise the breakfast buffet for having a good variety. VVarsenal76Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort I stayed in a room with a private pool. A little splurge on myself! It was so fun to have my own pool, to wake up in the morning and just jump into the water for a little cooling off. I could lay on the recliner and read to my heart’s content with no distractions, feet in the water. Morning breakfasts are fantastic and the beach view is amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful. What to know?: it’s the “Cliff Beach Resort”, which means your on a hill… which means climbing. It’SA steep walk from room to beach, but a great opportunity to get your blood flowing. Embrace it. Room for growth: the bedding smelled a bit sour. It’s wet here, so making sure things dry properly is a challenge. My greatest complaint about the room is that there was a ladder propped up against the backside of the pool wall, meaning someone could climb it right into my private room. A little sketch. The ladder is for maintenance, so I just pushed it off the wall. The pool could use a bit of chlorine as algae was present on the pool walls, but honestly, I’d rather have the non-chemical water. The biggest negative which the hotel has no control over is the nighttime noise. There’s a bar across the street which pumps loud music (starting at 10pm and going til like 4am). The hotel actually gives you earplugs when you check in. So lame. There’s two pools. One up on top of the cliff with excellent views. One down by the ocean. Overall, a pleasant stay.
