DDouyacaiThis hotel was a surprising and authentic find! The whole place has a classic Thai wooden style, and the rooms are huge with amazing sea views. Waking up to that view each morning was just wonderful… While the decor is a bit older, the hotel facilities are very comprehensive. My favorite part was the huge balcony – perfect for comfortably zoning out. The breakfast was excellent, with different dishes every day, featuring fresh vegetables and fruits. What was really unexpected was the number of peacocks 🦚 strolling around the hotel grounds. They weren't afraid of people at all. To be honest, I was a bit scared of them myself; their calls were quite loud! Sometimes, two peacocks would even stand guard right outside my room, making it hard for me to get in. 🏡 The only inconvenience was that there are no supermarkets or restaurants around the hotel. You have to take the hotel's shuttle bus to get out. Once you reach White Sand Beach, you can shop or eat freely. It was a bit of a hassle, to be honest. The hotel's food was also a bit expensive and, more importantly, not very good. Since I stayed for many days, I ended up buying a lot of things from 7-Eleven to bring back to my room. Service: Excellent, very friendly attitude. Environment: I highly recommend the environment and the hotel's beach 🏖️ – it's perfect! If you're looking to just relax and not do any shopping, this place is definitely worth considering.

GGuest UserThe hotel is old but in a very good condition. Service is very welcoming and with a incredibly high level of English language proficiency. Location is rather quiet (there’s a shuttle but you better set with your car or bike) but with a great beach. Good food at the dinner restaurant and plentiful breakfast. Sand fleas is an issue. We’ve got some bites. Good value for money.

SSvetushОтель расположен прямо на берегу. От мостика идти по пляжу 5 минут. Поэтому у отеля есть услуга доставка багажа - кто из гостей доходит до ресепшен, а потом работник на мотике с коляской привозит багаж. Очень приветливый персонал. Выходишь с бунгало, несколько шагов и море. Лежаки закреплены за каждым бунгало. В этом году море было мутновато, вечером была мошка кусучая. Рядом кафе , где можно и позавтракать, и пообедать, и поужинать. В 10 минутах есть тайский магазин под навесом с приемлемыми ценами. На туктуке можно доехать до пирса Бангбао

Food in the restaurant is good though a little expensive Staff are kind, friendly and incredibly helpful Room was incredible, air con was great and balcony with gorgeous view Highly recommend!!! Can't recommend enough, closest I've ever got to paradise

GGuest UserThe Hotel has an excellent location with restaurants and supermarket nearby. My recommendation is to check in only in the beach facing rooms as the view is awesome. From other rooms there is no view. The beach is very rocky but you can walk up a few minutes and it gets better. I have given average rating only because of lack of basic facilities. There is no room service or in-room dialing. You need to contact reception through Whatsapp. Basic amenities like toothpaste, clothes hook, sugar, teabags, milk sachets are not in the room. Only limited coffee pouches are given per day. This is not expected from a premium resort. The breakfast is nice esp. the eggs made to order and cheese platter. Overall we had a good stay due to the location of the room. The management needs to just do a bit extra to make it a top grade Hotel

AAnonymous UserThe overall experience was alright, but the facilities need some care. The water park is old and some of the slides are breaking down, they don’t look safe. The hotel is divided in two areas, one across the road and one by the beach. If you are staying across the road you can’t use the pool from the beach side, which is a bummer and a big downside. Would check other places first.

GGuest UserWe had an unfortunate experience at the Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort. Upon returning to our room, we discovered that a chargeable can of soda was missing from the mini-fridge, along with three towels. Luckily, we noticed it in time and informed the front desk. Otherwise, it would have been difficult to clarify the situation during check-out. It would have caused a lot of trouble if they found missing items after we'd checked out, despite us stating we hadn't consumed anything. We later saw reviews for several other hotels where some guests had similar experiences. We were fortunate to have noticed it early and avoided being wrongly accused. The garden rooms at Centara are very far from the beach. The beach itself is small, and the seabed is rocky and uncomfortable to walk on. The beach chairs are often fully occupied. The hotel's price-to-value ratio is very low and doesn't meet the expectations for a beach holiday. The mysteriously missing soda and towels only make us question the hotel's management and service quality even further. If you absolutely must stay here, I strongly advise everyone to thoroughly check all chargeable items in your room upon arrival, preferably taking photos for confirmation. Also, take videos or photos when you check out. Always lock your luggage when you leave the room, and when you return, double-check that all chargeable items are still present to avoid any issues.

GGuest UserNo mango smoothie available for two days! In Thailand!!! Restaurant lasagne middle warm while the dish itself couldn’t be touched as it was the only hot thing. The Pool Pumps are high pitch streaming several times per day, which is very annoying. Restaurant „reserves“ table for non showing guest for hours. Prevent us from sitting at a nicer spot. And removed the reserved sign when we were done. Don’t Reserve seats… all this does is upset off other customers. The rooms were small and clean but the aircondition made a loud Sound very time the Compressor switched on. So sleeping well was not possible. The toilet Seat in the bath was just loosen attached an fall off on the time. Simple things no one seems to notice and fix… a bit disappointing Also be aware that you cannot lock your door and keep the ac running, as they use physical keys for the door, welded to the AC activation card.

GGuest UserA wonderful hotel in a quiet location. Yes, there's no private beach, but that's not a problem – just 70 meters down the road or along the shore (if the tide is out) and you're on the beach. From there, you can go wherever your heart desires. We found a bar with brown stools nearby where we ate and spent our time. The hotel is currently building a new swimming pool. The breakfasts are good, with the main dishes changing daily. The coffee is also quite decent. The staff are responsive and speak good English (something we can't boast about, but an online translator solved everything for us). They helped us with an issue we had with the air conditioning. Across the road from the hotel, there's a Macro and a 7/11.
