"My wife and I spent a weekend in Sydney and stayed at ibis barangoo For the price that was asked for the king size bedroom that we stayed in facility, the absolute brilliant location and bend over backwards service from staff. I would highly recommend anybody to stay here especially if number one you’re on a budget and number two. You are looking for somewhere fairly priced and in probably the best location in the CBD. "Friendly and helpful staff and in a great location! Breakfast is at a nearby hotel and is very nice with a good variety. Sydney is an expensive city so the kitchen facilities are useful so you don’t need to eat out all the time. Also very useful to have a washing machine and dryer. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Excellent location and value for money. The staff were extremely helpful. We were able to check in early and access our room. The hotel also looked after our bags on the last day. The Harbour Bridge, The Rocks and the Opera house are all within walking distance. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily. Great value for easy access to the city!"

"Hotel was good all-in-all but a bit of a disappointment. My original room smelled pretty strongly of mold. I was shown a few other rooms as options and most of them smelled like mold too. Fortunately the one I ended up in smelled mostly mold-free. It was next to the elevator though and a little bit noisy. There were issues with my key card that had to be fixed. The bed was pretty comfortable. Everything fairly basic, seemed a bit overpriced for what it is though I guess that's just downtown Sydney. Biggest drag was that there were two false-alarm fire alarms during my short (two night) stay. The first one was fairly drawn out (at least 10-15 minutes) and extremely loud - voice and alarm constantly blaring. The second one was shorter, but late at night and not good for sleep. I probably wouldn't stay here again."

"The floor is not high, the room is big, and the facilities are good. The problem is that I didn't book a disabled room, so why was I given a disabled room? You have to press the button to enter and exit the bathroom door, and it closes automatically, which is not very convenient. There was also a fire drill at 6 o'clock in the morning, which ruined my dream. The service is quite good, the front desk, concierge, and breakfast waiter are all very good."

"The Amora in Jamison Street is now my 'go to ' city location. It is superbly situated within striking distance of The Rocks,Barangaroo and the main shopping area whilst having superb eateries within walking distance. No need to take the car once parked. We also love the smell as you enter the foyer - very reminiscent of the Imperial in Delhi. Staff are always friendly and accommodating."

"It was a pleasant experience here. The location is super accessible to tourist places in sydney. Fish market, opera house... Etc etc.... most of the places will all be walking distance. Location is tip top already to ferry ports as well. Hotel staff were really friendly and providing great care. Room wise it's tidy and clean. With rather good tech devices built in already. Breakfast was good amount of variety and enough seating. Will surely be coming back again for a visit!"
