GGuest UserArrived to be told that £30 extra taken from my account due to 3 people and small dog visiting. This was detailed on my search when booking and as you can see from your request for a review it it addressed to Andrew, Kat and Anabel (2 parents and nine year old daughter), hence us booking a family room.
On arrival we were also informed of a party taking place in the building adjoining our room. Very noisy and little sleep for my wife's birthday night away. Nice farm in good location. Awaiting refund for my daughter who was always visiting the family room.

GGuest UserWe stopped off at the Coach and Horses with some friends for a one night stay whilst on a short road trip. We had visited Bognor Regis earlier in the day and so arrived at the hotel late afternoon. The hotel is part of the Coach and Horses public house and is easy to find located on the A27. We drove here and there was plenty of (free) parking for patrons. We checked in, in the bar area of the public house and met the owner who seemed very friendly and helpful and after being allocated our rooms we moved to the adjacent (separate) accommodation building which is of much newer construction. Entrance to this building requires a room pass key giving a good level of security. The interior is very clean and contemporary in its decoration, our rooms were located on the first floor and this is reached by a flight of stairs. Our room was a good size, very clean and decorated with light brown walls with a darker brown feature wall behind the bed and a shining white ceiling and windows looking out over the green fields at the rear of the property. The room was furnished with an ornate wooden double bed with bedside cabinets, a table and two chairs, a dressing table with mirror, wardrobe and flat screen TV. A small chest of drawers was also available and complimentary tea and coffee facilities were provided. The room had free Wifi. The bathroom was all tiled and had a bath and shower, basin and toilet and ‘built in’ hair dryer. There was a ledge above the sink giving lots of space for our own toiletries and a heated towel rail, which is always welcome. An electric shaver socket was provided and a small collection of complimentary toiletries were also provided. Everything about the room looked relatively new being both clean and well maintained, it was very welcoming. Being at the rear of the property, there was minimal road noise from the busy A27 and we slept well that night with the windows ajar. Our host was welcoming enough, quite friendly and helpful really and later that evening we dined in the public house (subject of another review), after having an early evening walk along Worthing seafront. We thoroughly enjoyed our (short) stay at the Coach & Horses and would most certainly consider a return visit if we were in need of accommodation in this area. We would not hesitate to recommend this to others.

GGuest UserSaturday night stay for 2 expecting a quiet night to break up a 700 mile journey. Room, food and facilities generally good. However the hotel hosts events and there was a very noisy party hosted on the night of our stay with disco music until midnight. This was unexpected and ruined our quiet night. Reception advised that the party was a last minute booking and they would usually call guests to offer cancellation if it was a problem but had not had time or overlooked calling us. For those wanting a quiet night, it would be prudent to check that there is no similar event on the night they wish to book.

CChristopherExcellent place to stay to explore the South Downs or visit Arundel Castle. The beer garden of the pub is a fantastic place to have a drink on a sunny day. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fantastic Indian / Bangladeshi restaurant right next door. Would highly recommended staying here!

LLiamSimmonsCheck-In was a breeze. Room came with fan (which is a god send in these humid evenings). Provided with more bottled water in the evening after finishing the water provided within the room.
Pros:
Very hospitable / provided extras / overall friendly service
Cons:
No mini fridge in room (I often bring snacks and drinks for my stay).
Extended my check-out for £25.00 from 11am til 1pm .
Breakfast is £12.50 per person, but we opted out after eating at the Italian restaurant across the street (very filling).

GGuest UserHotel was in a good location. The hotel was very quiet considering it was at the services room was clean. Staff were very friendly. Buffet breakfast was very good value would recommend as a one night stop over.

GGuest UserWent as a couple for 1 night. Upgraded to a superior room upon discovering the room which was not cleaned. Breakfast was good, outdoor pool, sauna and a bar/restaurant area for a few drinks in the evening
