Check-in after 3pm and check-out before 10am the next day. There is no elevator in the hotel and you need to go to the upper floor through the traditional curved stairs. One direction is close to the unique restaurant and the other is close to Rembrandt (Party) Square. If you live here, plan to walk to the attractions, and a walk along the canal is a beautiful experience.

The rooms are very beautiful and design, the scenery is beautiful next to the canal, the front desk staff is particularly warm and polite, the restaurant downstairs is very Amsterdam style, a large number of handsome men and women drinking and drinking coffee in the restaurant. Not good for parking, the room is small, maybe Amsterdam is so expensive

The hotel is very well located, short walk distance to Leidseplein tram. The area is beautiful; walking around the streets surrounding the hotel is very enjoyable.
Close to the hotel there is a pizzeria and a sandwhich spot that are amazing. Also, there is a supermarket accros the corner.
The room itself is pretty basic; if you are just using it to sleep I think it is sufficient. The room was very small though, for some people this could be an issue.

The hotel is within 10 minutes by bus from the train station, and the hotel is next to the bus
The interior of the hotel is decorated in a rainforest style, and the service is very good. I found out that there is a swimming pool when I left, but unfortunately I didn't experience it

This is the best location to live in Amsterdam. It’s right by the Museum Quarter so you’re within a 3 minute walk to 4 separate museums. One of the entrances to Vondelpark is right across the street. And if you want to head to Centrum, it’s a very straightforward walk. There are plenty of food options and all sorts of cuisines to pick from. The tram stops are also very close. The rooms are spacious (by Amsterdam standards) and the staff are friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserTo start my review Naduah at reception was utterly fantastic. She gave great tips, was extremely helpful with any request and overall great at her job! This place is lovely to stay in for a holiday with a small kitchen equipped with all the essentials as well as a very comfortable bed! They have a great snack bar open 24/7 for things you forget about or if you’re craving a midnight snack! Only thing that we would do next time is stay directly in the city. Although it is only a 5 minute train ride to Amsterdam Central, we would have liked to be able to walk out of our door and experience the culture in the city centre! For those who can’t afford to be closer (like us), this is a great option!!

AAidil NawawiI had a very pleasant 2 nights stay here. Staffs were friendly and very kind enough to let me change bed. They even offered welcome drinks. How nice! Dorms, toilets and showers were well kept and clean. Adequate storage spaces. Individual curtain for little privacy for each bed. Location wise, it was easy to commute from here to the center and airport and other tourists spots. It was very near to the Artis tram station, just around the corner. There was a nearby Metro station that was within walking distance (for me). I would say it is well connected. Would totally recommend for solo traveller that is looking for a nice hostel to stay. This would be it.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, would recommend adding it to your reservation as food in Amsterdam is quite expensive. We were checked in by Youssef, who was so nice, helpful and accommodating to my friends and I. Overall a wonderful experience and great customer service

JJennyTrain stations are within 100meters from hotel. Direct train to airport and centraal. There’s a SPAR supermarket open from 0600-2400 daily. Hotel offers free drinks if you opts for no house keeping. Staff are super friendly

Service was friendly and the location is in the middle of the tourist hub so it is convenient but a bit loud. However, you can walk to a quieter location such as Jordaan in about 20-30 minutes. GGuest UserOh my, I loved staying at BUNK Hotel Amsterdam. I was first attracted by the good reviews of this young hostel/hotel hybrid, booked it far enough in advance for an early bird discount, and just a couple of days into my seven day stay, I realized I'd truly gotten a great deal. BUNK Amsterdam is fantastic! Ugh, where to start? I rented a pod, which is in a large room containing about 50 pods. Pods are preferable to bunk beds or other kinds of barrack-style hostels. There is privacy, there is enough space for you to get comfortable, change your clothes, the mattress is fine, the blanket and pillow are very cushy and cozy, the curtain is thick and heavy. The lighting situation inside the pod is unique, one of those switches with a lot of color and tone options, so you can really light the pod to your mood. I slept very well considering I was in a room with 30-50 other people at any given time. You also get a private locker beneath your pod that can fit a suitcase and a backpack with relative ease, unless you've overpacked.
The bathroom is non-gendered, all the stalls are very clean and private. As a guy, it felt weird to use the bathroom while women were in it, so I blasted music in my earbuds to tune the world out while I did my business, ha. The showers are in a separate room and also very private. The water pressure is great and the showerheads are waterfall style. They have towels available at all hours. If you don't see any on the rack, just ask and there they shall be.
The biggest surprise for me here was the restaurant. The restaurant attached to BUNK is basically a 4-star restaurant with 2-star prices. They have a full bar with well-priced drinks and very skilled, very handsome bartenders/baristas who can craft a wide arrays of cocktails. The chefs are also highly skilled, and the servers are attentive and kind. The menu is diverse, ranging from avocado toast to an interesting Indonesia beef stew-like dish that I can only describe as mind-blowingly delicious. They also featured a ”taco” that was very tasty despite really not being a taco at all. My favorite breakfast (and perhaps favorite overall meal) was their Eggs Bennie with fresh smoked salmon. For dessert, on multiple occasions I ordered their popular Snickers dessert, which was peanut ice cream with caramel and shards of chocolate and brittle. I meant to do more foodie tourism during my week in Amsterdam, but the food was so good I wound up taking a good percentage of my meals in the BUNK restaurant. I snapped some pictures of the food I mentioned; it should go without saying that I am not a pro photographer.
The front desk is manned (or womaned) 24/7, so anytime there was an issue or I had a question, someone was available. They are very attentive with regards to customer service. I should also note with their keycard system and network of entrances and hallways, I felt very safe. They care about security there and take proper, non-intrusive methods to make sure everyone is comfortable. I should also mention the facility is just beautiful. It's built within a very old church, there is a library, plants everywhere, a calming vibe throughout, and a quiet room for work or study.
BUNK is located in the North section of Amsterdam (Noord). Noord is the quieter part of Amsterdam, suburb feeling as opposed to the city vibe elsewhere. It's extremely easy to get to the Central area from here though. There is a ferry about a 10 minute walk away that takes you to the central area, as well as a tram a five minute walk away that takes you directly to Centraal Station.
I really hit a home run choosing this place, BUNK Amsterdam truly delivered the goods. Great building, great amenities, great staff, great restaurant, great location. I would recommend this to anyone traveling solo or as a couple/small group. Very small group. It's great to stay for a couple of days or a whole week. I loved my experience here and would stay again if/when I return to Amsterdam. Great place.

GGuest UserThe lobby of the Amsterdam Library Hotel is really the layout of the library, and the smell of books is strong when you enter the door.
Less than 10 minutes from the central railway station, go left at the main entrance of the train station, cross the tram, walk along the road, there is a bus station at the entrance of the hotel, it is easy to find. The 24-hour front desk, the waiter is very enthusiastic, will tell you in detail where to go, live here safely and comfortably.

GGuest UserGood location, close to the attractions, the surrounding attractions are concentrated. The waiter was polite and caring, and some birds accidentally flew over the sealed glass roof, very worried about trying to rescue them. The room was clean and tidy and very distinctive.

LloreleikvltWe had been really concerned after pre paying this hotel then reading bad reviews that had us convinced we would need to wear plastic suits the entire visit,, so I thought I'd give my review based around the concerns we had read, to try and be helpful ! some of the things were true , the sheets did come off the bed on mine but I wiggle but my friends both stayed on their beds. super annoying but I just slid it back on and you can always throw your cover over it instead and ask for another . Fortunately we didn't come across the bed bugs people mentioned !, the cat seemed happy and not flea ridden.. however the room was clean enough , no obvious mould. The beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom was clean and quite nice
It wasn't huge but had ample.space for our things in the triple person room .
It's an old building with narrow windy stairs I'm glad the elevator worked. it's not a relax and sit in all day hotel..it's a place to sleep , shower ...charge your phone and keep your belongings.
The coffee machine was fine as far as basic goes.

There was a fifty euro deposit on the desk, we just asked for a receipt after other things mentioned in reviews and were given a written one with no problem on leaving . We were offered one free housekeeping day as we stayed 4 nights but opted not to use it due to theft mentioned in reviews..
We stayed at the main hotel so I don't know if all the bad reviews were from the other or we just got lucky with our room but we had no problems, and when I went rustling down before hours looking for coffee the guy did help me before reception opened.
It's no paradise of a place , there are marks on the walls but faint...if you're fussy it's not the place for you but for the price and location, we really didn't mind it . It's a super great location as a base with a trendy area behind it
And a really cool vegan restaurant a tiny walk away a pub downstairs and metro train a stone's throw away
If you have the option to pay on arrival ask to see.your room first.you could take that route
Just to be safe, but all up it was fine..3 women travelling together there was no unsafe feeling there .
We didn't find it noisy.
