Trust me you will not be disappointed. The hotel is clean and modern. The hospitality is beyond amazing. The friendliest front desk that is available 24/7. Location is spot on. Train station, including busses, metro etc across the road and no more than a 5 minute walk. Was 1 stop to get into the centre of Amsterdam and very easy to navigate the public transport to venture into different neighborhoods as well. Hands down I will recommend hotel2stay to everyone heading to Amsterdam ! Thank you so much to all the staff that made our stay so pleasurable.

Hotel was great for the price you pay. The rooms are tiny (barely enough room to open a suitcase) and although situated conveniently next to a metro station is in the middle of nowhere but again, you get what you pay for and the lobby, gym and communal areas are well designed and well kept. If you don’t mind a 15/20min Metro travel to Amsterdam Centraal you wouldn’t mind it here I give the hotel 2 stars because I accidentally left my Apple Airpod headphones in the lobby area the day I checked out to visit another hotel in Amsterdam, although when I called Hotel Leonardo that same night to ask them if they’d been handed in I was told they hadn’t. I travelled down to the hotel the next morning to be told the same thing, that there were no headphones that had been handed in but they asked for my name and previous room number so they could contact me should they turn up. Luckily I was able to make my lost AirPods make a sound (findmyiphone feature you can activate when you lose a device) and I could hear them beeping behind the front desk so I told the receptionist that I knew they were behind the desk and she eventually handed them over. I firmly believe the hotel staff were trying to keep my misplaced AirPods headphones and if I had not been able to make the sound from the Airpods they would have pocketed them

We are staying at the Intercontinental hotels as our main hotel and have been most impressed. Our stay at the Amstel was so pleasant! The staff was absolutely amazing, every person we encounter was so helpful and kind. It is impossible to single out anyone as each team member was great. We ate at the hotel all of our meals except one and the food and service were perfect. We were so grateful that although the afternoon tea was full they were able to accommodate us in another beautiful location where our view was spectacular. We are in hotels 150 nights a year and our experience at the Amstel was one of the very best. The staff members were such nice quality people. They thanked us for allowing them to provide assistance to us. We were so humbled by the generosity of the hotel staff. While dining everyone pitches in and help one another and whatever we could want was provided immediately. Thank you very much with complete sincerity and gratitude. The management should be commended for encouraging such terrific service. We look forward to our next visit to Amsterdam and staying at the Amstel.

I chose this hôtel as I was travelling from the UK to see Dépêche Mode at the Ziggo Dome. And stayed two nights. Jaz in the City is just steps away from the Ziggo entrance so you can’t get any closer! It’s also great as a base for Amsterdam sightseeing. From the airport there’s a direct train (hotel is a 10-15 min walk from Bijlmer ArenA station). You can also hop on the metro here for a 20 min ride to Centraal. As Amsterdams public transport is so good (compared to Bristol in the UK where I live) you can confidently rely on it to get you wherever you need to be efficiently! Staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. From front desk, bar, restaurant and housekeeping. Everyone (thankfully) spoke English which is ideal for me as I can just about say hello and thank you in Dutch! Special shout out to Mr Omelette Maker at breakfast. The perfect start to a day of sightseeing!! I’m sure they’re are cheaper options but I’m of an age where I understand that you get what you pay for. This hotel in my opinion is great. It looks good, is super clean and well maintained and importantly ＜feels＞ good.

The breakfast is very rich, the service is good, the flowers and sunlight on the windowsill are good, suitable for children, right by the river, you can see the bell tower, the scenery is good, quiet, there are many restaurants next to the street, you can walk to the red light district or square , Parking at the entrance of the hotel, there are not many parking spaces but it seems that there are not many cars, can park, can take children, there is a large hotel garden on the first floor, and a bar, but I did not go in. The European rooms are small. The luxury room I ordered is larger, but it should not be able to add a bed. Very nice hotel, worth staying again.

The location has nothing to say, just by the Gentleman's Canal, an old European house.1.2-1.5 kilometers from several major museums, within 20 minutes walk (the three-story canal and each few steps have a cute bridge and a small house like chocolate on the shore make the journey shorter). First-class service, breakfast is very good, smoked salmon and ham are made by themselves, the taste is very good, but the room meal is difficult to say 😭; Room hygiene is also an absolute standard. The floor of the light white bathroom, bathtub, shower, countertop, and anywhere can not find a trace of uncleanness. The cleaning waiter is still so haunted (like the high-end hotels in Hong Kong and Tokyo); The bath is a full set of large bottles of Aesop, put it directly; basically, except for the expensive, there is nothing wrong with ～ I will consider living in Amsterdam next time.

Hotel is very convenient as it is located near to the Amsterdam Central station. The gym has most equipment but the pool is small so it’s not for swimming, just for hanging out at the pool. Rooms can get a little noisy as it’s near a busy shopping district. There’s the usual Nespresso machine, tea. No complimentary water, no in room slippers unless one is in the premium rooms. No toothbrush, toothpaste etc, jus tiny shampooo, conditioner and shower gels. No usb charging port, just a uk electrical port and two Europe ports. One of the thing I like about this hotel is that one can opt out of room service and choose between a food voucher, bottle of wine or hotel points. Overall it’s a clean and comfortable hotel located in a prime location.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially enjoyed the sauna and the delicious breakfast each morning. I will definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

This review is based purely on our own experience. We had an amazing time at this hotel. All the staff were great and friendly. If you needed anything they would get it for you. Felt welcomed from arrival. The room was super clean and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable it made us realise how uncomfortable ours is back home. The shower was big enough for two 😉. Breakfast was plentiful with a mix of continental and cooked. You also get a choice of different cooked eggs. I personally enjoyed having an omelet with spinach. Enjoyed the social hour every day between 4 and 5 pm. They do have a restaurant too but we ate out. The cocktail bar is nice, didn't hear the music from our room. I would easily recommend this hotel and hope to visit again in the future. Yes there are (at time of writing) Road works outside but we didn't hear any noise coming from them. If you arrive by train, don't waste money on a taxi as its only a short walk from the station. On a side note, if you want to do a canal cruise, I'd recommend doing the open top one. Yes it is a little more expensive but you get longer, see more and can ask questions to the skipper as you go round.

GGuest UserI stayed 27 nights in the Premier Suites Plus Amsterdam during my one-month-long business trip. I was excited to stay in such a new hotel. Unexpectedly, I had to postpone my arrival for three days. One phone call to the reception and they took care that my reservation was held. Of course, I was expected to pay for those days also that I could not attend. (I understand the day rate, but taxes per day, even so, I wasn't present on those days?) On arrival, everything seemed good: personnel at the reception were nice, the room was clean and had the facilities promised. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had enough equipment so I could make various foods during the month, noise insulation between rooms and hallways was above average, and every day I walked past the reception I got greeted. Then the criticism: During the booking, I could reserve complimentary slippers and a bathrobe free of charge. These were absent from day one. Also, because I stayed for a longer period, I got free weekly cleaning service. At check-in, this was told to happen every Tuesday. I was asked to move my own stuff away for those days so the cleaning service could do their best because they are not allowed to move the resident's belongings. First week, cleaning happened on Monday. Alright, no biggie, I am better prepped next week. They followed the routine to clean rooms on Mondays. Except the last week's Monday. I asked about the situation from reception. They were shocked and apologized me countless times and promised to take the word to the cleaning service, and clean the apartment the next day. But cleaning didn't happen. Either they forgot, or the cleaning service once again forgot/did not care. The hotel had hanging cards for the door e.g. please empty trash can. I had it hanging from the moment I noticed on Monday afternoon that my room was not cleaned till next day 16:00. On Tuesday, the cleaning service did empty the trash. No apologies, or any comments. I mentioned this also during my check-out, and the reception was once again confused. More about the cleaning: I think they did nothing for the floors. They did vacuum the floors in the hallway. Why not the apartments then? In a month you do gather some dirt to the floors, especially because there are no carpets. Additionally, the quality of the cleaning varied every week. One week I got a new batch of bottled water, last two weeks I didn't. The first weeks cleaning was done during the day before 15:00 (check-in starts at that time). Second last week cleaning was ongoing after 15:00 once I arrived from work. All in all, Premier Suites Plus Amsterdam does have good location near the Amsterdam-Zuid train station (only 6 minutes to the Schiphol Airport). Also, easy connection to the city center. They had nice rooms with good amount of facilities. Still, being new is not enough to be luxurious. Problems with the cleaning service need to be resolved. Even the main lobby floor was noticeable dirtier on my depart

DDANIt is close to the tram and the subway station, there is a big ah next to it, just five minutes away from the net red brunch shop. The location is really good, you can see a great view on the rooftop. The hotel is also very serviced and has a high-end youth hostel and hotel apartment configuration. The bed is very big and can sleep for the next three girls. Really love the roof, whether it is sunrise or sunset is a good place to take pictures. Very clean, there is an oven coffee machine, induction cooker pots and pans, too love this minimalist style, recommended to travellers to Amsterdam

I had to say for a month stay at the Yays Docklands in March 2024. There were some positives and not so positives about my stay, so let's get started: Positives Apartments are spacious (I stayed in a 2 bedroom one), you'll find kitchen utensils, microwave, fridge, coffee maker (Nespresso) so this will help save on restaurant bills. Rooms are comfy enough with a full bathroom and you'll find shampoo and shower gel upon arrival so no need to bring along unless your skin type requires a specific one. I found the shower temperature to be fine yet it would suddenly get slightly colder during the course of a shower for no particular reason. Wifi does work (my Zoom calls went uninterrupted except for a day where wifi did not work for over 24 hours, no apologies nor previous advice from Yays), you can connect your phone to the TV, which you'll find one wall-mounted one in the main bedroom in addition to the living room. Yays is mostly used by tourists or, as me, people staying for weeks at a time, so it's very quiet during the day, I worked from the apartment a few days and I was perfectly able to enjoy the silence. There's a nearby street (Borneostraat) which is multiethnic and where you'll find great Turkish coffee, authentic baklava and many interesting restaurants. I encourage you to explore this street. Not so positives Location is a bit removed from downtown, however that's a matter of perspective. You can get to Central Amsterdam in about 15 to 20 minutes so it all depends on your particular preference. You can go there by tram, bus or even train (this one I'd discourage as it takes some walking or bus/tram). If you need some grocery shopping done, your closest supermarket is about 1 km away so be prepared to walk and carry your groceries with you. Staff at Yays is not responsive, cleaning arrangements are modified which is rather inconvenient and the cleaning crew don't bother to check if you're running low on gel or shampoo. All in all, I think the positives outweigh the not so positives, mostly if you're only staying for a few days as you'll most surely spend most of the time exploring Amsterdam and surrouding areas. Would I stay at the Yays again?: if I can find a better located alternative then no, I would not just for the convenience factor. Tip: Ask for a room located on a high floor, views will be better and you'll be more removed from the street noise (nothing to be concerned about, just one club located next to the Yays which operates Friday and Saturday evenings but the noise coming from it is very light). Hope this will be useful for you.

YYOUThe hotels in the Netherlands do not include breakfast at all, and there is a separate fee for dining at the hotel. The hotel is apartment-style and the things are clean and suitable for regular or family stays. There are refrigerators, dishwashers and the like. It will not be cleaned every day. If necessary, it can be called the front desk. The younger brother at the front desk is very enthusiastic and will make fun of you. The room window cannot be fully opened, and the toilet has no window ventilation. The hotel is completely located in the local residential area. If you want to experience this kind of customs, you can consider it. The parking is a bit nervous and you need to find it yourself... There is a kind of domestic parking that is visual. Overall good

Ppackedandready2goThe apartments are well designed and well maintained. The soundproof windows work very well. Even though we are facing the train tracks we could not hear the trains coming and going. The apartment is clean. The small kitchen and living room were great. The bed was comfortable. The location is excellent with most of the tourist sites within a 15 minute walking distance. The only reason this is a 4 not a 5 star review is the appliances. The microwave operation is not intuitive. The washer dryer has printed directions and even so it is a bit complicated. The washer dryer takes over 5 hours to run and even then the clothes are not dry.

Had an overnight stay due to an event I participated to in Amsterdam Noord. After being positively surprised by the location in Amsterdam East, I decided to book Bob W Noord as it as located close to the event I was attending. Even though the design is completely different from the location in East, the attention to details was equally pleasant. If you are looking for a different kind of accommodation but very efficient, this is for you. Thanks Bob W team for a great stay in Amsterdam
