MM831084****Seriously, no need to specifically stay at an all-female hostel for a single trip! No need at all! First, let's talk about the location. It's about a fifteen-minute walk from the metro station, and there are plenty of eateries and supermarkets along the way, but Amsterdam's food scene is just okay... To get to the city center's museums, it's a forty-minute journey involving a metro transfer to a tram. There's really no need to make a special effort to stay here. Plus, if you're unlucky, you might even encounter male maintenance workers on certain days, which makes it even less appealing. As for the bathroom lights, if no one is in the common area for a while, they automatically turn off. You have to step out of the shower stall and wave your hand to get them to turn back on.

SSupremeInteresting concept. It was my first time staying in a motel like this. The bed was quite small, though. I stayed in the upper bunk bed. Considering the price and it was overbooked everywhere else and I only need a few hour to sleep over, I think it was quite okay. Nevertheless the place is quite nice and clean. It has shared kitchen, places to hang around, to work, etc.

DDani MXI stayed in this hotel in the heart of Amsterdam and the experience was very positive. The location is really unbeatable: a few steps from the main channels, museums and the most lively areas of the city. Perfect to walk or with public means. The room was clean, modern and soundproof, although not particularly spacious. Breakfast is also good, with a variety of choice and fresh products. A small note: the price is a little higher than the services offered, but given the central position it is understandable. In general, a great choice for who wants to live Amsterdam in comfort. Advised!

AargyaPros: location Cons: location! Location is very convenient, lots of restaurants and bars around the hostel. However, this means that a lot of the downside of staying somewhere “where the party is” was also there. Some guests will come back home drunk and make a lot of noise, also if staying on Friday nights music from the nearby clubs can be disruptive if you’re a light sleeper. Nonetheless, room was okay, and having a bathroom inside the room was really nice.

AAfshin ElahiMy capsule was good, though the weekend price was a bit high. The location is not bad, about a 20-minute walk to the train station. The receptionists were incredibly nice, and the kitchen facilities were excellent for cooking. Showers and lockers were also good. However, there was a noticeable smell of **** in the room and corridor, which was unpleasant. Also, while the toilets were spotless in the morning, they were unclean at night. Overall, a stay with some great points, but unfortunately marred by the smoke smell and inconsistent toilet cleanliness.

GGuest User-taxes were added when we arrived, each night we add to pay 2€ per person plus others taxes not mentioned when we booked. -it was very noisy, all night we could hear slamming doors and people talking from Time to Time. -The bedroom was very big and well equiped (fridge) and the host was nice and handful. For the price it was overall correct.

LLizzi BrownThe hostel is in a good location out of the centre, it's an easy tram ride in to Centraal with very frequent trams. You get what you pay for, it's cheap and cheerful but very good value for budget accomodation just a short trip from Amsterdam city centre. The beds were very comfortable, the room was larger than expected and very airy as we were in an attic room and all the windows opened. The stairs were a bit treacherous, very steep and winding but a nice feature of an old traditional building. The showers and facilities were fine, kept clean by other travellers and staff and the kitchen was fine too. I would definitely stay here again for cheap, reasonable accommodation.
