"Came to Alor Setar for opening ceremony in Aman Central. Hotel next to ex-prime minister Tun Mahathir old house, right opposite hotel has a late close mamak restaurant. But hotel didn’t provide tooth brushes, have to prepare ourselves."

"The location is absolutely excellent, surrounded by various eateries, convenience stores, a pharmacy, a laundromat, and even a Maybank. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. All the staff are incredibly friendly. The children's pool is safely designed even for toddlers as young as two. The adult pool is 4 feet deep, providing a safe and appropriate depth for Malaysian adults. If you ever feel bored, there's a gym available. The food options are consistently delicious too. Overall, it's truly superb! 👍"

"The hotel is located quite a distance away from the centre of town but away from the husle bustle of the city. The room was small with little space to move. There is no elevator to the upper floors. We are thankful that the receptionionist changed our room from the third floor to the second floor. There is ample parking space for guests."

"I had a good stay at StarCity Hotel in Kedah. The room was clean and comfortable, with working air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to shops and places to eat. Breakfast had a nice variety and tasted good. Wi-Fi was fast and free. Parking was easy and safe. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with good service. I would stay here again. Rating: 4/5"

"Check in was fast and rooms was already available. Inside the room was like entering a 90's time tunnel where room decor was back in the 90's style, very big room, clean and still well maintained. Breakfast was fairly good but slow to replenish and not much food left half hour before restaurant closes for breakfast. Car park ample at the hotel's premises, a bit tight at the lots in front of the hotel. About 10mins walk to Aman Central Mall and very close to many food courts. Overall, it is value for money."

"A pretty good hotel overall! The location is convenient — there are food options on both sides, so finding something to eat is easy. There’s even a Mixue (ice cream & drinks) nearby, which is super convenient for a quick treat. Great for a short stay or a transit stop. Recommended!"
