My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this homestay. The accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated that made us feel right at home. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable dining table, bedding, hairdryer, heaters, Wi-Fi, and most importantly, excellent water pressure! The location was ideal, with food stalls and convenient stores nearby. We also felt very safe with its security door. The only minor point for improvement was that there were no extra keys provided for our family of six, which made it a bit challenging at times. Overall, we highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, hassle-free place to stay. It was an unforgettable experience, and we would love to return!

There were so many positive things about our stay in Super 8 Hotel Alot Setar: clean bedsheet, free netflix access, unlimited drinking water refill, elevator, public space near reception, etc. Also, we were allowed to check-in early with no extra charge.

I chose this hotel because the rooms are quite spacious and there's ample parking. The only minor inconvenience is that if you're coming and going during school dismissal times, you'll need a little extra patience. The front desk service was also very good; every time we passed by, we'd exchange glances and get a big smile 😊

Great location, but the soundproofing in the room was poor and it wasn't very clean. You could clearly see the tabletop hadn't been wiped down, there was dust on the floor, and the air conditioning barely cooled the room.

Simple room for friends of 3. Aircon is nice and cold. Toilet is separated with shower, and door is shared between them. So meaning, no using them simultaneously. Other than that, all good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at StarCity Hotel. Its location is fantastic—right near the city center and just a short walking distance from Aman Sentral. The facilities were generally fine, though only one elevator was operational during our visit due to ongoing renovations on the 2nd floor. However, the disruptions were minimal and didn't impact our overall experience. The window view was splendid, offering a distant sight of Gunung Jerai. We also appreciated the thoughtful in-room amenities, including an iron, ironing board, and a sejadah. We would gladly stay here again if we visit Alor Setar in the future.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Everything was good, from the clean and comfortable room to the overall facilities. The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it very convenient to travel anywhere. There are plenty of shops, attractions, and restaurants nearby. In particular, there is a fantastic restaurant within walking distance that serves delicious food. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Their excellent service made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It was a wonderful stay at this hotel and located at strategic place (near to town centre). So easy to walk around (eg. eateries, Temple and Aman Central Mall and extra). A peaceful environment too during my morning walk around 9am. The people here are very humble. The buffet breakfast (7 to 10 am) at the hotel was great!👍 and worth for RM spent. The staff also very polite and pleasant 😍 . Definitely, I will come again here if got a chance .
