"Perfect room, clean hotel was not let into the restaurant because of age the restaurant manager, didn’t let us eat in the restaurant. We had to order room service instead, and there was tables in the restaurant the spa was okay, but the spa staff were making dirty looks on us and reception tried to charge us extra fees!"

"Located in the suburbs of LIMERICK, surrounded by Irish countryside, the scenery is beautiful, and you can take a walk along the trail around the hotel in the morning. It is about 1-1.5 hours drive from the Burren National Park and the Cliffs of Moher. I stayed here to be closer to the Cliffs of Moher the next day. But the hotel did not have hot water that day! Taking a cold shower in winter is simply miserable. It was said that the equipment was broken and the repairman could only come the next day."

"The Clayton was conveniently located so we could easily walk into the city center. The parking ramp was very near and, of course, the parking was included. The beds were comfortable and we had a room with 2 singles and a double. It was perfect for our needs. We had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the river in the morning. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night. The food was fine and the servers were friendly."

"Nice hotel located on the outskirts of Limerick. Around 25 minutes brisk walk into the centre. Usefully located on the main bus route from the airport. They were also happy to accommodate a later check in due to my flight arriving out of hours. Very pleasant stay, room was clean and staff very friendly. There is a bar downstairs; many people have complained about the noise however I was placed in a room at the back of the hotel and didn't get any of the noise. The rooms could use a bit of an update if anything, for example bigger beds and more modern furniture but at least it doesn't feel like a chain hotel. I'd definitely return if I was in Limerick as it's a good value option for accommodation compared to other places in the city."

"Fantastic hotel with so many amazing touches. I loved the staff, the location, and the decor. The breakfast was the best I have ever had with a hotel package. The service was second to none. When we arrived, they had a vintage radio playing in the room. What a cozy touch! The room was comfortable and fantastic. So happy with our stay."

"Very warm room with great decoration, just a few minutes walk from Bunratty Castle. The boss is an old couple, and the hospitality is just right. The breakfast table is extremely retro, with many types and good taste, highly recommended"
